You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, so I won't repeat myself all over again. The game wouldn't be able to render hundreds of Forza-tier cars in span of one minute of super fast moving, PERIOD. You example of a small herd of buffalos has nothing on this argument, let's leave it at that.ere.

Of course it would, but it wouldn't even need to do that, GTA's rarely render more than 30 - 40 vehicles at any given time, let alone that Forza accomplishes it's technological achievements via hardware on the X1. Literally anything done on the X1 will be replicable to a far higher extent on next generation hardware. We're talking about consoles an order of magnitude more powerful than the ones rendering Forza right now, they are obviously going to be able to render more of them and at far higher quality.

The buffalo example was given because they were over 25 of them in RDR 1 grouped together, yet not only are there larger groups in RDR 2, their models are far, far more detailed, meaning that it would stand to reason that the leap in power from the PS3 to PS4 generation allowed them to upgrade every facet of the game's design. Why would the same not hold true for this generation? Provide an actual answer or drop the argument.

I love how people here who had nothing to do with game development ever try to argue with a Computer Science engineer with real time CG speciality. People, get your ego in check because you don't even realize how stupid you sound to someone with actual knowledge of the things you try to talk about.

Here's the thing, you do not know what the game will contain, nor do you know anymore than anybody else about the hardware of the machines that will running these titles outside of the fact they will be within 12 - 14 TFLOPs in overall power.

FYI: Stating you're a computer scientist doesn't make you one, neither does working in "real time CG" give you anything beyond a cursory insight into how developing a video game works, when you can't even understand how console generations work.

No. They get archived and eventually deleted, but OP can't delete their thread while it's still going

I've also been an editor and writer of a rather well known pc,consoles,games,industry-related blog in Poland, perfectly predicted how Steam Machines would end up, predicted recent trends in PC market, especially with GPUs, PC gaming, predicted PS5 specs very well, almost to the point, predicted when we would see next gen, predicted well being of PS4 and current gen at the beginning of it, saying it would put PC games in shame in terms of actual graphical capabilities and effects that it's exclusive titles would have and what game devs would be able to do with the till the end of generation (not talking about resolution etc. so don't get excited here), while people were saying it wouldn't last 2 years and would be killed by mid-range PC GPUs at that time, predicted the state of Star Citizen and how it's "development" would look like, and many, MANY more. My thesis was about Designing and development of video game engine. Actually the introduction to it contained history of video games and console generations analisys among other things, so you dropped the ball here majorly.

What did you achieve in the field of video games industry?

That's true, but

1) A Janitor, who is not a mod, can make a thread and delete it as well to make it look like it contained something important to troll people

2) Your typical /v/ janitor/mod would not know anything about GTA VI any more than you or me, to be able to discern real leaks from fake ones

3) Mods/jannies at /v/ tend to delete threads that have been spammed (not necesserily exactly the same thread, but the same type of thread over and over again), perhaps there were many fake GTA VI leak threads there recently and are on a blacklist.

I wouldn't get excited about it either way.

sorry to break it to you, but none of your predictions were exactly amazing, this is all basic stuff that anyone with a brain who's done research on history of games would've figured out, also mid-range PCs did outperform a PS4 by 2015-2016, 2 years after the PS4 released, but im not having a console war here, either way, get off your high horse and converse like a normal human being with everyone else.

Another possibility: After that Rocstar F-word guy leaked a bunch of updates for GTA Online, Take Two might have made a deal with the 4chan administrators to get rid of leakers.

That's an amazing way to say a lot without stating anything at all.

How about you back up your actual argument? About how somehow Forza's models are completely implausible to match despite next generation hardware being far superior to current generation hardware and therefore allowing models of far higher quality to be included in less linear games, take Uncharted 3 one of the best looking video games of that generation with some of the highest polygon models out there.

It's put to shame by RDR 2 and what it accomplishes in a far more dynamic open world.

You are doing the exact same thing when arguing that the detailing of Forza's vehicles couldn't be matched in an open world title, despite that title being made for next generation systems where as Forza was not. Even more importantly, you know about as much about the next generation specs as anyone else, just because you "predicted" the announcement of them means nothing, most everyone could tell that by the 2020's a new console generation would be introduced.

TL;DR: You don't require a degree to understand these fundamentals, it's far more embarrassing though if you have one and manage to overlook them.

A mid range PC from 2013 is obsolete right now pretty much. When PS4 was about to get released, we heard that 580ti would destroy it, then when it failed, the same would be said about 660, then 680, then 760, first titan, then 960, etc.
They were as wrong as wrong they could have been. PC GPUs get absolete faster because PC pars market is where it makes money. I predicted this perfectly, while 90% of people were at the extreme opposide side of the spectrum, so there's for your "everyone could have predicted". Unless you admit 90% of people don't have brains or something. Let alone make above predictions all together by one person. And I was speaking about exclusives specifically, read my post gain. Still the best looking arcade racing game is Driveclub, the best TPP action game is GoW and Uncharted 4, the best looking action RPG is bloodborne (DS3 actually has worse animations and assets). And I could go on, everything is about consoles nowadays and this is where game devs focus is put into.
People compared PS4 GPU to 7790 Radeon which I laughed at. "On paper" PC and Console parts can not be compared because it comes down to low level access to CPGPU, closed system and single specification of hardware which help to prolong life of consoles, which is certainly NOT something most people know. But if you want to argue that everyone made those easy predictions, then so be it, I don't care. i didn't come here to boast about anything it's not like I made that post out of thin air. I was called out a story teller who doesn't know sh*t about video gaming industry, so I responded with valid and actual counter arguments for that and TBH you seem pretty upset over them, so you can always go to my profile and "block it"/"ignore it".

Correction. You didn't respond at all.

Instead you keep trying to palm off models that were designed to run on machines vastly inferior to the ones that GTA VI is being designed for as though it would be completely infeasible to render models of equal if not higher quality on that superior hardware.

Your only argument has been, I have a degree. Which is useless when you don't actually utilize any of the knowledge behind that degree to attempt to explain how such a backwards argument is even feasible, instead you go ahead and claim that because you made a few vague predictions and wrote for a gaming magazine, something so outdated almost no-one uses them anymore, as reasons for back up what is ostensibly a strawman argument you refuse to elaborate on.

For the third and final time explain why it would be unfeasible to have superior hardware rendering superior models. Or we're done here.

Nice generalizations of all I said there buddy. Hope they will make you sleep well at night. Also, I'm waiting for numbers on those bison models from RDR1 vs RDR2 ones. I actually gave numbers for polygons between GTA V cars and Forza 4 cars if you actually cared to get your head out of the end of your digestive system and stop making smart ass comments and actually read this whole conversation to which you jumped into out of this air with ASSumptions, generalization, deflection and general lack of any idea what you are talking about.

" For the third and final time explain why it would be unfeasible to have superior hardware rendering superior models. Or we're done here. "

Because people don't even notice difference between 50k polygon cars vs 1M polygon cars in a fast paced Open world action game, where you are most of the time blazing through the streets at the speed of 100 miles per hour as stated ITT. If you really expect noticible difference of cars between V and VI like you had with bisons in RDR1 vs RDR2, then good luck, you will need it.

Polygon count is not an argument, poly counts are not really a problem anymore (for the most part) thanks to very smart LOD algorithms in game engines. Something someone with a degree with in computer graphics should certainly know. Any vehicle rendered up close on next generation hardware could easily exceed the level of detail seen in a modern Forza game, but in a scenario where-in there are dozens of vehicles on screen, some so far away that you wouldn't be able to make out the detail even if it were present there'd be no noticeable difference between the version that lowers detail via the algorithm and the version that renders everything to the maximum level of detail regardless of it's distance from the game's camera.

Therefore it's very likely that the next generation GTA in discussion here will likely contain vehicle models with a higher polygonal count than any modern generation Forza title, it just won't need to render all them in that amount of detail due to modern LOD algorithms making do so completely irrelevant. Up close and where it would matter though, the next generation title is going to win out regardless.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times in the tale of Grand Theft Auto: VI’s cities, with Forza-esque vehicles. Born of millions of polygons, these keepsakes on wheels clung to the eyes of the automotive C suits, bemoaning such audacious replication. Hither and thither, their engines chugged fuel in real time, staggering to a holt over the blacktops on which the treads of others have been emblazoning legacies since 1987. The motorists and passerby’s collectively rejoiced at the creed of these wheels.

But within Grand Theft Auto: VI, nothing is born with a label and bullshi* is a commonality. Realism has a mob tie with all of the bullsh*t for life, which keeps this syndicate burning and the criminal underworld a perfect disaster for those who broke up with the good life.

For that reason, Smith & his faithful assailant Wesson, along with their partners Glock and Armalite could cut through the shine of any of the automotive C suits’ assets with a red mist at any time.

As the media makes with their frenzy of Newspeak and 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue shrills, the Creator will look on from afar, armed with a crimson smile and damning words to the industry: ‘never underestimate a rockstar, no matter the label, reputation or heat that he/she never asked for.’ 🙂

Ask and you shall receive, with a myriad of immersion to please. 🙂

I dont remember if i already said this but  i would think the majority of people will have little access to the story in terms of GTA 6. I would imagine that people who do sounds or design a car for example have no need to know the story so why would they tell them. The higher ups like producers may know the story but are far more likely not to leak anything.

In terms of rendering things, GTA 5 was still struggling with that on current gen. GTA needs to render pedestrians and cars, deal with lighting, the actions they can do, how they react to something happening, etc... and a whole lot more

That's just because the core of the engine could not be completely updated for the current-gen and with it the optimization too. GTA V on PS4/One/PC has new features and overall better performance but that could've been improved if the core of the engine was not made with the 360/PS3 architecture.

Grand Theft Auto: VI | Fan Fiction

This piece has been conjured up for the VI 007s. 🙂

Creator: ‘Hi. We’re making something orgasmic in pixels involving the number six that would like to be friends with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Scarlett and personal computers. Our mission is simple: we are aiming to please. To accomplish this, however, we want to put more heart and muscle into this thing that was born when it’s predecessor was taking baby steps. Ideally, we’d like to take our franchise on a more realistic path and let the player grasp true immersion, while also having the capacity to interact with objects and elements that have been static and inanimate.’

C Suit: ‘Okay. What exactly is it that you are eyeing for your workload to better engage your audience?’

Creator: ‘We’d like to put yours, and your automotive friends’ wheels in our thing, particularly to bring a greater focus to the driving aspect of our franchise, the fidelity of the vehicles themselves and advanced customization. We are also on the hunt for another Game of the Year title.

C Suit: ‘Sorry, but no. We would much rather see to it that our vehicles keep a clean reputation, as oppose to them being showcased in a work of fiction. That, and succumbing to blood baths.’

Creator: ‘Okay. Are you familiar with sharks?’

C Suit: ‘To keep this on the business side of the spectrum, yes, I’m familiar with Shark Tank.’

Creator: ‘Are you familiar with our sharks?’

C Suit: ‘I..., honestly, don’t quite follow you, sir.’

Creator: ‘Well you see, our sharks have been biting in the billions since 2013.’

C Suit: ‘So what you’re saying is that these sharks could you help your organization and your workload by buying into a business deal with the automotive industry?’

Creator: ‘In exchange for you allowing us to drop your wheels in our big thing, we will give you millions of sharks.’

C Suit: ‘Would these millions of sharks be hush money or profit?’

Creator: ‘The positive term, confidentially.’

C Suit: ‘Your confidentiality is my skepticism.’

Creator: ‘Your industry’s assets will be one of our thing’s big playmakers.’

C Suit: ‘I’m sorry, but I just can’t budge on it. It’s the political climate; it’s an absolute mine field. We’d be treading on fire, here, and it would be a blowout with those empty suits, which would mean negative PR. Then? We’re going into protection mode and that’s not even counting the potentiality of an even worse nightmare: litigation. I’m sure you can understand my position and the looming ramifications for our industry, sir.’

Creator: ‘Yes, of course, I do. But we at Creator Games are looking to transform our franchise and make future Pricedown tales sexier, from all points of perspective. We’ve also studied the framework of the American political and social-economic culture since 1999, as our games have highlighted. I am sure you can understand our perspective.’

C Suit: ‘Yes, I do. But..., in laymen’s terms..., you can’t have our cars. Your next avenue that you might consider pursuing is contacting Forza’s producer. It was really nice to converse with one of your organization’s own, though. That series has really matured. I wish you all the best with your next endeavor. You have a great day.’

Creator: ‘That is unfortunate that we could not come to an agreement today. Your cars implemented into this new thing would have been remarkable, to say the very least.  Thank you, and we appreciate your time today.’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘HQ, are we gonna do it?’

Creator HQ: ‘Not only are we going do that, but we are going to decimate the sales of the last one. The look on people’s faces..., and the fact that they contributed heavily to this game’s potential..., it’s just going to be amazing for us to watch it all play out. The fans wanted Next-Gen. They’re getting that and more. Many have this thinking that we are not sampling and collecting ideas from the community to implement in the next game. We are. Honestly, between Next-Gen, the sharks, the fans, and ambition, this is everything the game is made of.’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘Damn straight. With each build level, I’m just going to get better. And closer to realism, as close to a Google image as possible.’

RAGE: ‘Hey, Vinnie, how you doing, man?’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘Hi! Doing really awesome. This build is the best one yet. Feeling the love from that second letter of the Greek alphabet, you know? Amazing how far I’ve come. I’ve really come into my own. The presentation just everything, really. Their one hell of a team, love these guys. You’re shaping up nicely, too.’

RAGE: ‘Thanks I really appreciate it. Yeah, made it through Redemption II. I had chills through all of it; such a sad story. Now I’m getting ready for my next one. Amazing thing is this game is like an alpha version of you!’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘Yep, especially with the RPG elements and volumetric clouds. Very beautiful.’

Unreal Engine 4: ‘Hi, I’m looking for work and saw your job vacancies. I would love to put everything I can into your Next-Gen production.’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘I would appreciate all the help I can get to be the best I can be. But..., you’ll need to ask my creator about that one.’ Run it by them, and we’ll see what happens.’

RAGE: ‘Hey, if they greenlight it, I’m all for it. You can be a part of the journey.’

Creator: ‘Yes, absolutely. Welcome to the development toolkit. You’ll be perfect to streamline our workflows and the big thing.’

Unreal Engine 4: ‘That’s great, thank you! I give you my affirmation that I will do my damndest!’

RAGE: ‘We’ll be great together, I’m looking forward to it!’

Unreal Engine 4: ‘Okay, so... what are we attacking right now?’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘Well, the map is the big focal point, right now, but other departments are being covered as well.’

RAGE: ‘Yeah. Roll call time! Map, how are you looking, right now?’

Map: ‘Holy *uck!’

RAGE: ‘Audio?’

Audio: ‘Sexy!’

(Cheh-reh-reh-reh-vroom!

Verroom-veroooom!

Get dow’nah *uckin’ ground!’

Whoooshh!)

RAGE: ‘Damn! Graphics?’

Graphics: 🤯

RAGE: ‘Gorgeous. Driving?’

Driving: ‘Lookin’ good!’

RAGE: ‘Storyline?’

Storyline: ‘Gritty.’

RAGE: ‘Physics, how you are making out?’

Physics: ‘Love these Next-Gen. development kits.’

RAGE: ‘Very nice. Music/soundtrack’?

Soundtrack: ‘Best music of the whole franchise comin’ at you soon.’

RAGE: ‘Love it. Realism, how much depth do you have?’

Realism: ‘Real life. That is all.’

RAGE: ‘Protagonist structure?’

Protagonist structure: ‘No comment; don’t wanna spoil.’

RAGE: ‘Understood. Police, what is your approach going to be this time around?’

Police: ‘Reasonable tactics, force when applicable and K-9 units.

45, check?’

45. Go ahead.

I’ll be the lead unit.

45, 10-4.

10-50, 10-50 he wrecked it!

Shots fired, shots fired, shots fired!

Pull back, pull the *uck back!

RAGE: ‘And there is much more.’

Unreal Engine 4: ‘Wow... Game’s burning on all VI cylinders, huh?’

RAGE: ‘Well, that’s one way to look at it, haha!’

Political Correctness: ‘Can I be in this game?’

Da’Rell Remier: ‘Nope, but all the political bulls*it, can. Along with everything else *ucked up in our world.’

Political Correctness: ‘Damn it.’

AM: ‘Hey there, Vinnie. Long-time-no (farts) ugh, bloody hell. Sorry, anal sphincter’s been unsettled last few days. Must be excited for the next few years.’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘Hello, again, farting HR guy!’ Nice seeing you, again!’

AM: ‘AM, please. Gotta keep this professional and chat to a minimum, yeh? (farts) It’s futile trying to stop it, so why even bother?’

Da’Rell Remier: ‘A’ight... which of y’all *iggahs rippin’ *ss? Smellin’ that *hit down here Chiraq!’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘You’re good; I’ll being bringing plenty of entertainment to *iss yourself to.’

Leslie Benzies: ‘Your game’s gonna be such *hit without me! Pity, hahaha!’

EVERYWHER3: ‘Oh, shots fire, bruh!’

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘You weren’t the only ace, Benz. Remember Terry, Gary and that other guy?’

Leslie Benzies: ‘Do you remember the day when you looked in the mirror to your backside, only to find my hairy, Scottish ass that you were forced to kiss after my game *ucked your game over? No? Well that day’s coming. Can’t wait for it.’ And where’s my $150,000,000? Need it to give EVERYWHER3 that VIP treatment.’

RAGE: LMAO.

Grand Theft Auto: VI: ‘Why are you laughing at that? You are acting like the little engine that could.’

RAGE: ‘I’m sorry; I just never knew that the Benz had a hairy *ss.’

Going back to the discussion about the setting, I personally don't think that R* are going to repeat themselves by re-imagining an 80s Miami-based setting. They already explored that period and the pop culture around it in the 2002 game. Even for a franchise with more limited possibilities and a narrower history period to explore, Red Dead that is, they've truly made sure that Redemption 2 would feel completely different to Redemption atmosphere wise, to a large degree that some fans believe that II don't feel like a Western-themed game. With all the options in front of Dan Houser and co-writers in modern history, they've nearly unlimited possibilities to explore different settings, new or old, with a focus on new stories and themes, and an in-game world that is refreshing atmosphere wise. A work that is purely based on novelty and creativity, not nostalgia.

Gta 6 could easily be set in modern times, its just that so many "leaks" talk about the 80s setting that some people are already expecting a 80s game

It can be an 80s game, but definitely not a re-imagined 80s Miami-based one. I am sure that there are plenty of interesting stories and settings to re-imagine in the 80s USA and still not having it anywhere close to Miami. It's also one reason why these... ahm... "leaks" are more than likely made up.

Grand Theft Auto: VI | Conceptual Dialogue

The following is some conceptual dialogue that I conjured up for Rockstar Games’ forthcoming accolade, Grand Theft Auto: VI. I cannot wait to see what the Creative Department themselves conjures up for hard-hitting dialogue. 🙂

Male Carcer City police officer: ‘Chiraq PD! Drop everything you got, or we’ll bring everything your *ick can’t handle!’

Male Carcer City police officer: ‘Chicago one time! Get dah *uck on the ground and try to act like you respect us badges!’

Male Pedestrian 1: ‘Well..., at least that’s one less *sshole for society and one less liability for taxpayers. I could be next though, ‘coz the corporate life is like sucking the *ick of my worst nightmare!’

Da’Rell Remier: ’I swear humans are reversing backwards!’

Male Bank Robber 1: ‘Good morning, fellow townsperson. I’ve been nickled down to my last dime, the economy *issed itself and minimum wage can blow me. Long story short: gimme the *uckin’ cash!’

Male Bank Robber 2: ‘Relax; it’s okay, this is a gun-free zone. You’re gonna be just fine. I mean, I’m gonna kill you anyway, but you lived a meaningful life of *hit, right!’

Male Pedestrian 2: ‘Loudmouthed, big nose with a big *ick, comin’ through! ‘Hey, ‘least Jesus got somethin’ right ‘bout me!’

Male Serial Killer 1: ‘Paper or plastic, miss?’

Male Serial Killer 2: ‘C’mon-c’mon-c’mon! *uckin’ die already! I’m behind schedule!’

Male Serial Killer 3: ‘Hello, I’m Dex and I’m gonna be your murderer, today. Let’s get started.’

18-year-old Male Burger Shot Drive Thru Operator: ‘Welcome to Burger Shot! How can I make your *ss or love handles fatter, today?

15-year-old Male Cluckin’ Bell Drive Thru Operator: ‘Cluck-cluck, this job *uckin’ sucks. What you havin’?’

18-year-old female Bank Robber: ‘Hey. I’mma materialistic, bad *itch with a gun. Wanna’ open that register for me?’

20-year-old male: ‘Ayee, shawty. How can a *iggah get at dat umbrella?’

Male Employee 1: ‘Finish this 9-to-5 or go covert with that secretary who can make my 12-gauge cry. Yep, easy choice. Work life.’

Female Pedestrian 1: ‘This relationship died right after he spit those vows. If only I had a hitman on a speed dial.’

Female Protagonist variation 1: ‘Don’t *uck me, over, Mr. White Night, or I’ll cut right through your bulls*it disguise with an insult or a bullet!’

Female Protagonist variation 2:  ‘Don’t mistake my looks as a weakness to give your ego a hard on.’

Female Protagonist variation 3: ‘The name’s Ms. Independent; not pet names, k?’

Female Protagonist variation 4: ‘I creeped up a few car lengths in back of you... and I saw the fireworks. I heard the agony of that little girl bleeding through some good vibes in my car. Sad thing is... this is our reality.’

Son 1:’ You. Have. A. Severe drinking problem, dad! When the *uck are you gonna’ see it! You’re killing your life self slowly! Is it gonna’ take a hospital bed to set you straight? You’re an asset to this family and I can’t take care of these two beautiful woman (mother and sister) alone! Don’t you die on me!’

Colt Austin: ‘Lemme tell you something, right now. I lost the ability to give a *uck at a young age ‘coz I lost everything. The two people that gave me a chance at a legacy were wiped away by cannon blasts. My blood was trapped in a coma. Today..., still I stammer and tremble, staggering around as my reality tries to wraps it head around just what the *uck happened. Now I ask you: is that enough of a justification not to give this world and people another chance? Maybe it isn’t. But both are toxic.’

Husband 1: ‘Beer me, suck my *ick and don’t asking anything more of this relationship. Blame my hardships.’

Female Pedestrian 2: ‘That’s a really clever marketing campaign, you have going for you. So, what you are saying is that you had a lot of 15-second girlfriends when you were 16 years old? Congratulations, you just won the dumb*ss of the year award.’

18-year-old Female: ‘On my way to *uck your dad; you can watch!’

Male Pedestrian 4: ‘Dude, I’m not tryna’ start ‘ish with you or nothin’, but that horse’s ass is legit better lookin’ than your girl’s. Just sayin’.’

Giovanni ‘Gino’ Luego variation 1: ‘If you’re soft and got glass bones... you ain’t gonna make it. Period.

Male Mobster 2: ‘The mob life can go two ways, kid: with ya teeth swimmin’ in blood ‘coz of a misdeed, or by profiting with the right approach.’

Male Pedestrian 5: ‘Lick my nuts, my balls and my hairy cock, baby!’

21-year-old Female: ‘Gotta say that opening my legs in front of computer has really helped me much more than opening a book ever has, hahaha!’

Male Pedestrian 6: ‘I bet the *ussy could do business for the right price.’

TJ Mendez: ‘Ms. Jones, can I go empty my *ick, please?’

Loretta Jones: ‘Boy, you better clean up yo lingo ‘for you step back in my classroom!’

TJ Mendez: *itch, why don’t you do *uck yo’ self and yo’ saggy *ussy even Donald Love wouldn’t eat.’

Loretta Jones: ‘Oh hell naw! *iggah, you better learn some decorum, *iggah, or I’mma show ‘yo ass the black version of Jackie Chan, you understand me, *iggah?’

TJ Mendez: ‘’Aight, damn.’

NOTHING Producer Larry Benson: ‘Hey HardOn Games... I’m 150 million short. Pay up. By the way, tell your new game that Larry’s Scottish *ss says *uck you.’

I could definitely see somewhere else instead of Miami. Gimme 1988 the height of the crack epidemic. Not cocaine, crack.

Could be set literally in any major city in the US.

No pretty sure Rockstar has said it would be strange to go back to Vice city if not in the 80s.  The setting of the city was as much about the era as it was the location. Or something to that effect. I don’t remember the exact quote but it’s well known among fans.

Also as far as leaks go. The common trend seems to have

1) Vice city

2) set in multiple eras

3) drug cartels

4) South America

All of these trends point to the Miami 1980s when Cocaine turned that city from a humble retirement retreat into a crime infested war zone and party capital.

LMAO my man pulled out receipts!

Spoiler

"Dan left home in England for a months-long solo trip through South America. In December of that year, he took a walk on a beach in Cartagena, Colombia. “I made a huge mistake. The police don’t start until 10 a.m. This was 9 a.m. and I was being chased by three hobos wielding machetes and a broken gun.” He ran for a taxi and found an internet cafe. There, he checked his email and found a note from Sam, asking him to come to New York and work for Rockstar, under the Take-Two umbrella. It was the perfect deus-ex-machina moment, “the right email at the right time,” says Dan. A week later, he was in Manhattan, working with Sam in the corner of an attic loft in SoHo."

Dan Houser does have experience about Colombia...

(although that story sounds like bs)
