rockstar has this texan guy in the new DLC who is into gas, oil, security, industry who is a new character and will probably make some sort of appearance in GTA6 if its set before

GTA6 will have influence from big oil mining industrious companies kinda like RDR2

I think online could impact a Vegas setting. Already some people cant access the casino in Online because of laws against microtransactions and gambling in some countries.

 

If they choose Vegas where obviously there's a lot of gambling everywhere they're not gonna make a lot of money from online.

I can't imagine it'd be much different then now, with Casino games taking up a very small portion of Online's content. I mean, GTA Online's been making boat loads of cash for years without fake gambling.

Imagine R* cut Aliens and Zombies DLC form GTA5 to make them in GTA6.

The first one is to steal UFO from Base 69 and the stuff which was said above.
The second one is to protect the family from the Zombie virus which was made on Area 69.
Same sh*t as GTA5 would have, lol but with 80's)

Looks like there are a lot of Vice city hints in newest DLC (Hermes, Love Fist and so on), maybe even too many and Rockstar might be simply playing with us, we'll see in few years or so

I honestly think that Rockstar never does anything random, with no reason. History taught us that. I think 6 is gonna be massive and the tech permits it already. I still hope for a map with all cities and a closure for the 3D era.

this aint happening maybe the east coast but that will be condensed down like southern california was in five starting to think bully 2 is next anyway rockstar  dropped several hints about bully in rdr 2 and the new update had a bully hint in it

The 3D era is GTA 3, VC and SA. The HD era is GTA IV and V. GTA IV and V are basically 3DHD era because they're in 3D (logic) but they're also in HD (even FHD for GTA V on PS4 and Xone) while RDR2 is already UHD on One X.

Yeah, but that's way to complicated. The PS2 isn't HD, but they are 3D, unlike GTA 1 & 2. Then on 360 & PS3 they became HD. FHD and UHD is still HD. I don't think they'll actually start a UHD universe, I think that was just the best or easiest way for them to explain it back then. And there's no need to overcomplicate it all.

IMO this map doesn't make any sense. If this map could speak it'd say thanks for not aborting me. It would be nice to have all the cities from the previous game on one single map, but not like this. Besides GTA would have to become full blown MMORPG for this to make any sense

That would be easy for them because they wouldnt have to add any ai ped interactions for the game.

In the way San Andreas was the final main game of the 3D era, and what a game it was, I think that the next GTA is probably going to be a closing for the HD era. And I suspect it's going to be a huge thing. Remember that before San Andreas and its immense map, GTA 3 and GTA VC featured single cities, not unlike GTA 4 and 5. Because of the way it's set up, I have no doubt that the producers' initial intentions were to feature all of the cities in their next game, or at least 3 of them. But, as is the case for all games, the devs just scrape ideas and cut corners as the planned release date approaches. I suspect they will also release a couple of DLCs afterwards.

 

After this next GTA title, they may start a new era or abandon the series and create something new altogether.
