I was up there the other week for the end of the fringe festival. Took a couple of photos before a security came out to chase me off.

That's probably not what most players would like to do, and Rockstar wouldn't take the risk of taking a step backward for a game as big as GTA VI. GTA V made them billions, you can be sure they'll try to replicate some of the things that made GTA V so successful. Hint: it's not the story.

 

Each GTA game will be big and important and will take a long time to make. Unfortunately we're not in the PS2 era anymore so they can't come out with a GTA Vice City 2.0, a GTA 70s, a GTA 2077, etc. every two years to satisfy everyone's fetishes. However I expect bigger and more important (paid) DLCs in the future.

I don't see a problem with that. People should be free to play the way they want. I'm sure most people wouldn't use the automation feature though.

There will be more modern GTA games and I realise that but at this point I'm just so incredibly bored with this concept. We already had two modern GTA titles in a row. It's time for a game that doesn't try to be a commentary on modern day bullsh*t and instead focuses on telling a compelling story and being an actual game. A game, not some virtual reality safe zone through which we could live out our unfulfilled ambitions

I totally agree. Im so sick of this bullsh*t argument that people wont buy GTA because its not set in modern day and somehow the same doesnt apply do RDR. if there really are people like that out there then they should be ignored.

you didn't provide a single valid reason why a GTA game can't be set in the past. all the limitations can be worked around. don't want to drive to a dealership? call them and have them deliver the car for you. wanna look at ads or read the news? get a newspaper. can't play a game that doesn't let you use a smartphone? maybe try Watch Dogs instead

 

and there's absolutely no reason to think that R* are interested in releasing any kind of single player DLCs anywhere in the future

Well there are security measures as any other office building but still, the LifeInvader mission can be reenacted up to a certain point 😃

Call a friend, put on some worker clothes and get your buddy to help you carry a ladder inside. They will let you in, for sure. Nobody cares about maintenance.
