GTA 6 Leaks & Hints Topic.

I'll put it this way. When a visual leak for GTA 6 happens, you'll all know it's real. There will be no debate. Granted of course there will always be some level of debate. But I mean for the most part it will be unanimous. 

EDIT: I should clarify, IF we get a visual leak, not when.

That R* thing, right?  The RDR2 leak (map) was really something that had us scratching our heads, because it was truly well done graphics and names wise. It included small details/lore from Redemption such the names of places, states (e.g. The Grizzlies, Tallulah Place), and of course, no blurry pictures taken by a phone and low-quality textures that could be done by anybody with some modeling and texturing skills.

Yeah, true. I guess I mean more along the lines of 'in game'. I do remember there being a lot of debate in April 2016, but I also remember people feeling that 'this time it's different'  I never felt a sense of huge doubt. The mapping thread mostly worked on the basis that the map was real. In my experience, very few things were looked at that way. Most visual leaks are dismissed pretty quickly. that one stuck for a very long time.

That's not what I meant. 
The person who is uploading these fake images is probably a VFX guy. If you open that YT link, you'll know what I'm talking about.

you can be sure he is on this site and he must laugh at the small audience that feeds him

it has already been proven that these old leaks were fake so he definitely has no credibility anymore so stop mentioning these fake leaks every time he posts one on reddit it's ridiculous and a waste of time

if he really had any information he would post all these images at one time and pictures of the city during the daytime for example

but of course we have a vulgar airport in the middle of the night lol

the first thing that we think about GTA is the city so if you have any info on the game with pictures sends pictures of the streets in the day with recognizable buildings of the city with pedestrians and cars it's not complicated

with that you'll be a little credible (if it's true or even if it's wrong but well done) and you will not need to persuade people by answering them on reddit because the images posted will be convincing enough if it was true

i guess you're right. that guy is clearly a phoney. he's been lying, making excuses, coming up with stories and even calling people names on reddit. we know that he was the one who posted debunked Caprice picture. now we know that he's somehow involved in the VFX industry. there's just no way he didn't fake those pictures

GTA V has a few places where the minimap doesn't match the real road ( close to the military base ) in its final version.

They usually make a debug minimap to test stuff, but when they decide to change the layout of the map, they don't directly re-render the 2D map, there is no point in doing this as it's still a w.i.p map, just do a debug one to test the features and they keep it even if it doesn't match the map until the layout is 99% finished.

 

This actually makes it even more interesting, as someone that has a good knowledge about 3d and the gta universe wouldn't mess these details ( as a 3D modeler in my free time, I can swear to you that you don't want to mess this kind of details ). Also, look at the player direction looking at the right, I've already seen these kind of glitches in early screenshots of gta V or IV. Also, rendering a 2D map of 3D meshes isn't complicated, put a camera at the top looking down, makes 2 textures white and black and tada, you got a layout, easy and fast, if it doesn't look perfect just tweak it in photoshop and you got a 1:1 layout. That's why I would have done as someone that knows how to render/model, it's fast and easy to make one that matchs the wolrd layout.

 

I'm not saying it's fake or real, I'm actually scared it might be a fake leak for XXII, I've already saw these kind of icons on his youtube channel, but can't seem to find the video back.

He was playing with this idea but his icons were a bit different. Who knows, maybe he changed the design. Or maybe someone else had a similar idea

In my opinion, every lEaK we've seen up to this point is fake. That "Project Americas" thing is bullsh*t. Rockstar really does it's best to hide everything with the next GTA, or they aren't really advanced with the game.

I've spent a lot of time in 3dsmax learning and making renders, because I wanted to learn or because I wanted to see what I could do.

See, that's what I'm refering to. Don't forget he and his team spent time making a game on UE4 with gta assets, and it actually looked great and GTAish. He also teased a vice city reimagined map and he has a good knowledge of the gta series.

I have a few R* employees in my professional field; I remember seeing some things that ended up in GTA V before the game was even announced. It was on their portfolio way before the release but ended up being in the game.

Ok, I understand the part where you try to recreate some items or whatever, just to test your abilities, but why would you post this on the internet as a fake GTA leak and ask people what do they think about it? I'm assuming you wouldn't do the same and just post it as a concept.

Yup, I absolutely agree with you on that. I really don't understand why someone would do that.

I guess that the people doing it get the satisfaction when people actually believe the leak.

 

EDIT : totally off topic, but I just f*cking realized I created my account the 4th of november when my Profile picture talks about the 5th of november, I never realized that lmao, why I didn't wait a day longer to make it ...

Please have a common sense guys. It's clearly fake. If I would be a R* employee and want to leak some screens from VI, I would take a HD photos (my galaxy s8 can take better photos at night than this) and share everything at once. But this guy? This guy is making announcements about leaking screenshots?! No way that any company would allow this. He would be found in hours and have a really problems because of breaking NDA.

Someone will always be disappointed. But for the first time in a long time, over a decade. We're heading into a new GTA, built for the next generation. I think we can expect a very good GTA. But like everything, it will have positives and negatives. take them for what they are and enjoy it as best you can.

The person who leaked the post or faked the post deleted the post mentioning internet doesn't require leaks and also deactivated the account. That guy is an attention seeking filthy motherf**ker.

I think R* has enough "mistakes" to make the "perfect" game like Gta Sa. 

GTA IV - Good story, realism but no mission variety and bad mechanics.

GTA V - Medium story, too forced, good mechanics and missions but there are details missing in Map and characters.

RDR 2 - Large, detailed map; good story, good characters, good mechanics, a bit too realistic but ok, not much variety in missions (repetitive structure).

They have opposites, and an almost perfect game: now its time to find the mid-term, in other words the literal perfect game. I hope this is GTA 6

Maybe or maybe not, cauz maybe he's deleted the post cauz noone believed him and even if he's genuine we will never know until the game comes out. But I think if this was all fake the guys is a really a good 3d artist to make such an image.but still he's an assh**e .
