The Weekly Vehicle Showdown Week 17

Welcome to the seventeenth week of a forum game called the Weekly Vehicle Showdown. In this game, vehicles face off against each other in a forum poll. At the end of the week, the winner is crowned. The reign is short lived however, the following week, a random vehicle will be selected
to face off against the current champion. We will keep going until we cover every vehicle in GTA V and GTA Online, and have one overall champion. In the thread feel free to
discuss the positives and negatives of each vehicle, your opinions, facts, videos, pictures, whatever you like to strengthen your argument for why the vehicle you are voting
for deserves to win, and the other does not.

 

Rules:
If you post mulitiple photos or videos of any vehicle, use spoiler tags.
Do not go off topic. Discuss only the vehicles being voted on.
Be respectful of other peoples opinions.
Do not cheat; creating multiple accounts to vote, etc.
Do not vote based on the photos in the OP.
This is not a Snapmatic competition.

The one, the only, the Buzzard. This workhorse has

been serving Los Santos and Liberty City residents

for years. With no stop in sight, it looks like for many

more years it will be the choice for casual transport and

more devious of deeds. Can it fly into the winner's circle

this week?

Benefactor Stirling GT

 

 

Classic mountain road tourer? Savage rally car? A car that thinks it's

a bird? The many faces of the Stirling GT arouses many

questions, but one thing that isn't in question is it's performance

accolades. Does it have the power to pull ahead of it's competition?

Or will the Stirling GT fade away much like it's door hinge design?

 

May the best vehicle win.

Oh, this one's a tough one. I'm going to have to go with the Stirling though. Such a fantastic car all around.

 

The Buzzard is a workhorse, but the Stirling GT is a motoring masterpiece.

The 300 SL has got to be in my top 3, if not my all-time favourite classic. Think the Stirling GT does it justice rather well so.. no contest here for me.

I honestly dislike the looks a lot though, i find it all kinds of ugly no matter how i look at it.

No contest: Stirling GT. Ticks all my boxes for what I reckon makes for a good GTA car - it's a very close pastiche of the real 300 SLR coupé, it's a really clever mix of elements from both 300 SL variants (and a couple of other little details that make sense and work as part of the the overall look), and it doesn't resort to some horrible mash-up with something totally inappropriate. Heck, even without the real-life influence, it's still just a good-looking original design.

On top of that, the in-game model looks nice and detailed, there's decent assortment of customisation options, it sounds fantastic, and it's just so satisfying to drive. I reckon it's one of the best cars ever added to the game, and I really hope it becomes one of those cars that becomes a staple of the series with future games.
