There's goon, then there's all the alpha peds but they don't have any leftover textures. @B_Smiles (and anyone else) is free to use and modify the GTA3D stuff if they feel like it.

OOH! I did goon a while ago! I posted it somewhere in the LCLF thread but it replaced one of the Mafia guys instead of a standalone ped

 

And there's also the butler and cop2

I always thought it would be cool for someone to recreate the panto but to make it more inline with the way vehicles look in the final version rather than the cartoony beta. Just so it's textures don't stick out like a sore thumb. It'd be neat to bring that car back.

 

But you're right. B_smiles has already done a ton of work so its actually hard to think what hasn't been covered

@B_Smiles: I have an idea, how about adding a proper second arm to the III rendition of Phil Cassidy? Let's just say plastic surgery at it's finest or he somehow manged to grow it back...

 

EDIT:

 

Another idea: The III rendition of the Yakuza Stinger with the roof turned into an extra component.

Use Notepad++ you cheapskate and refer to the readme (the ped ID, in this case 90, can be any other number after the last ID) I used 90 since I've restored most of the pedestrians in my game.

Your unique geometry from the cut multiplayer maps ported to the final GTA3 map fits as a glove. Still the "Multi5: Industrial Park" map have some interesting geometry you can port, also it seems to be the unique map with a lot of differences comparing it to the final map. Here's a video from Zmey20009, I don't know if he's showing everything though.

Glad to hear that :) thanks for the video ref, but its far easier using a map viewer to see everything (some really nice stuff) 

 

Yeah, there's LOADS of geometry from multi5 which can be re-purposed into the final map - my favourite is the larger AmCo offices and the bomb-damaged wall
(which needs its UV mapping fixed first (uuuuuuggggghhhh)

No, iirc it's a mockup of Statue of Liberty's original face, which was exhibited in NY for many years. And it was an actual beta prop.

Here is what I think the locked topic GTA 3 Ultimate might look like. It would be like what I imagined more stuff to add for the game.

Also, do you agree with my idea of this mod?

Blue and white police vehicles like in the beta version of the game

Vice City vehicles such as the Admiral, the Walton, the Boxville, the Oceanic, and the Rancher

Darkel missions like "I Scream, You Scream" which involves killing pedestrians in the Little China Park instead of gangsters in Atlantic Quays

More aircraft like the Maverick and the Skimmer

Beta peds as seen in pre-release screenshots

Removed weapons like the nightstick and the land mine (use the Vice City mobile for the nightstick icon, but in yellow)

Removed radio songs and dialogue such as Wash Him Off and Back to the Streets

Curtly missions

LCS vehicles like the Hellenbach GT and the Hearse

New building interiors such as the mall in Staunton Island, and police stations like in San Andreas

Diablos are now armed with pistols, shotguns, and Uzis alongside the baseball bat

Police officers are now armed with shotguns alongside the pistol

SWAT officers are now armed with M16s alongside the Uzi

FBI agents are now armed with shotguns and pistols alongside the AK-47

Custom peds like such as those made by Jinx and B-Smiles

Running while holding a baseball bat like in a beta gameplay clip

Removed vehicles such as the Panto and the Brigham in the final GTA 3 style

Stanier (civilian police cars and taxis)

Destroyable Airtrains with rocket launchers like in a beta preview of GTA 3

Beta money pickups showing how much the money was like in the beta

Triads are now armed with shotguns and Uzis alongside the pistol and the baseball bat

Speedo (civilian ambulance and Mule)

Beta Triads and Diablos

Mods that you made for GTA 3 like the peds, vehicles, and places

Vehicles and peds from other parts of Liberty City can be seen all over the city

Scripted random events like in GTA 5

Peds are sometimes armed with weapons

The Portland subway station, the Callahan Bridge, the Shoreside Lift Bridge, and the Porter Tunnel are now open after Luigi's Girls

Upstate area is now accessable through the Upsate Tunnel with new areas such as suburbs, countryside, forests, and the "Ghost Town" from the beginning of the game

Perennial in the style of a sedan

4-door Bobcat

4-door Esperanto

2-door Perennial

TV Van based on the Rumpo with LC News livery from LCS

6-star wanted level from the beginning of the game

Pony as an ambulance

Places such as Punk Noodles and Bolt Burgers to replenish your health

Peds are seen riding on vehicles such as buses and trains

More vehicle diversity like in real life

Stores to rob like in Vice City

The blown-up area with Toni's Portland safehouse is now back to normal

Signs, posters and billboards removed from the final cut of the game such as Plummet Airways and the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory

Police cars, firetrucks, and ambulances will be showing up randomly on the streets like in real life

Taxis in the style of the Blista (there is a mod for that)

More 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s cars
