Nah, I'm fine with your making a V Guide, you can make it a Next Gen one too. Though the Last Gen Guide would be much more work, while the Next Gen one is just some useless Vehicles with a AP Bike Conversion. No Blank Plates in Next Gen, no Skylift and who knows when that Snow Asea will be removed. I NEVER played the PS4/XONE/PC Versions of V and never will, I'll always stick to PS3 1.00, so I would have zero idea what to do if I made a Next Gen Guide.

Yes but UP is basically the same as SP. UP only exists because of human psychology reading out a word (sounds stupid but it's true), SP isn't "readable" for people, but both are Unique Plates. Sure maybe you will find this SP in Traffic, but what are the odds that the SAME Plate will be seen in Traffic? Maybe even DIP5H1T or Dreyfuss' Landstalker Plate can be seen in Traffic...

People usually only care for RV if it's a P-996 LAZER or something like that. Even that Z-Type is RV because it costs 10 Million and can only be bought, so it's the Rarest of them all. Still, RV = Not Special.

Lol, come on from which Mission is the EC (UC) Black Conversion? I don't remember seeing that on Lancet's Guide.

LOL, all you do is start the game on the Latest Patch, since the Flight School Update way back when, you're given all the 4 Car Garages (Interior Garages), Helipads, Hangers, Marina Docks for free...Once you start the game and are given this stuff, you just delete the Patches and go back down to 1.00, yet you still have all of this stuff and can use the Interior Garages, which are reliable for earlier Special Vehicles.

fnxrak's Videos show him using all the storage space early on for his Starter Save. Even shows how to use the Interior Garage Trick to store LARGE Vehicles inside, usually not accepted by the Garage. This was once again patched, though, so it only works for unpatched games.

And...

Beware of the Garage Bug on Version 1.00, though. This can be deadly for the Safehouse Garages and any Special Vehicles stored inside there. However, I know what causes it and how to avoid it.

1) How to prevent random impounds during the whole game (if possible)

2) Info if something is is wrong in the guide for PS3 (I made this guide mainly based on XBOX, so any fix is appreciated.)

Easy. Just use Helicopters, Planes, Boats, or Character's Personal Vehicle. Never jack random traffic Vehicles as sometimes these get impounded and then overwrite what you have in there. The Impounds are very reliable, but you just need to understand how they work. Just like SA's Impounds...

If you're going off Lancet Jades' Gamefaqs Guide, then I can tell you right now that on PS3, obtaining the UP Blazer (Ron's) is a bit different. You can't leave a Phantom or anything at Trevor's Trailer before starting the Mission or it vanishes. You must start the Mission first, and THEN search for one in traffic, but you must find one sort of close by. I THINK (can't remember as it's been a while since I did anything with V) if you go too far away, you fail the Mission for abandoning Ron or something...

I am sure there is more things that I am forgetting to mention at the moment as I haven't did anything with V in ages. I remember talking to Lancet Jades a while back about some stuff that differed for me on PS3 compared to Xbox 360, though. But as of now, only that UP Blazer (Ron) is all I can remember...

As for the List, the f*ck if I know...V is the least known game for me. Not cuz it's the newest, either. But because I just don't like it very much (hence why I never made a Guide for it in the first place, while I made a Guide for the other 9 GTA's) and the Special Vehicle aspect is dull and dumbed down beyond belief, so it doesn't really interest me all that much. If you're just basing the Guide off of Lancet Jades' Guide, then the List should be easy and everything should be included.

The whole Rare Vehicle terminology and Vehicles in here doesn't make sense, though. Why not include the Lazer if you include the Prison Bus? Lazer found in Fort Zancudo just like the Prison Bus is found in Bolingbroke (?) Penitentiary. It can be obtained any time, at any stage of the game. You get 4 stars in Fort Zancudo, you get 3 stars at the Prison. However, it's possible to get the Prison Bus by parachuting in and only getting a 2 star Wanted Level...Is the Rhino Tank and Buzzard Attack Chopper going to be included or the plethora of buyable Vehicles, too?

Also, you should ask the Staff to pin this Topic. The other 9 Guides are pinned, so this should be as well...

I agree with Mors about the Rare Vehicle part. Also, why include the Cognoscenti Cabrio from Missions as a Rare Vehicle, when you also have the UP Cognoscenti Cabrio listed?

I thought the Fixter Bicycle is Unique, but turns out it's Rare... Is it buyable? Where do you even find it outside of the Rampage Five Mission? Rampage Five, or how Next-Gen calls it, "Rampage: Hipsters"... Dumb name change from Rockstar, but ohwell.

Make sure to mention which Vehicles can be saved in which Garage. Some Vehicles will lose their Special Properties when they're saved in a specific Garage.

He did that with the Vacca, too. Vacca from Meltdown is all you need since it's UP on top of being "Rare." The one from The Wrap Up is just a plain old Vacca, nothing special about it...

Fixter can be obtained from those Strangers and Freaks Missions. The one lady rides it. It's also UH, but UH doesn't save in any Garage. It does abnormally high Bunny Hops and sh*t...

Even though you can obtain that Prison Bus in Father/Son, it still requires an unnecessary Mission Failure. Fortunately, GTA V doesn't have ANY Mission Attempts/Failures Stats AT ALL like past GTA's, HOWEVER, when you fail a Mission in V, the game actually removes ALL of your Ammo from Weapons that aren't unlocked through the Story yet. For instance, I did a 13.30% Starter Save for V and picked up tons of Weapons on land and in the ocean, however, when I failed for a Special Vehicle, I lost basically all of it. If the Weapon isn't unlocked at the time of a Mission Failure inside Ammunation, you lose it entirely from your Weapon Wheel...

Fixter is definitely in one of the Strangers and Freaks for either Michael or Trevor and some lady is riding the Bike and you have to beat her. It's embarrassing how I can't remember sh*t in V, but yeah. I know this Fixter for a long time and I know it's also UH and been discussed to death years ago...

To get it pinned, report your own Topic and ask for it to be pinned. Or just PM someone in the Staff and asked for it to be pinned. I am sure it will be pinned, since it makes sense as all the other Guides are pinned, as should this one...

You can continue the Guide. It's no rush. It's why I gave my Guides to SpriteFan274. I didn't want anyone to make a Guide. The RIGHT person needs to be the OP; one that has the time and passion for Special Vehicles and capable of writing and such. Also who has a full understanding of the game and has knowledge of the Special Vehicles within and has obtained them himself in their own Saves, thus can write from experience. It's kind of hard to make a Guide if you never played the game or never obtained the Special Vehicles within. It's why in the IV Guide I made note of heavily basing it off of Lancet Jades' Guide since I personally have only obtained 10 Special Vehicles in IV, despite 100+ existing. I surely will be doing a 2nd Save in a couple months, but that will only make 20 obtained, while still 90+ more to go. Most are easy and boring, thus I don't even care to do more than a 2nd Save, and same would go for V. 2 Saves for IV and V would be good enough for me and satisfy the Special Vehicle aspect in both games for me...

When there is only so much space, there is no point in obtaining inferiors while the space can be used for something else, superior or completely different.

Looks good! So you're going to be recording Videos for the entire Guide with ALL Vehicles and show how to get them? Good luck. I guess it'll take a while...

I see the Guide under way! :) Like I said before, good luck!

You found some Vehicles that weren't real? This is the problem with the HD Era (IV, TLaD, TBoGT, CW, and V). When it comes to anything with a Luster/Pearlescent or an EC, you haven't a clue if it's real or not. People have just made educated guesses up to this point, basically. Nothing is truly confirmed at all...

Wow, that's interesting that you debunked the Beejay. About those Pharte Gas Burritos, yeah, the White one is surely special as ones around the map are usually Red in color. Some are pretty easy to confirm, while others are very, very hard and will certainly be a big task to find out such things, so I am glad you're taking the initiative to check into this stuff. One of the big reasons I am not too into V for Special Vehicles is the main fact that a lot of still unsure of and just guesses, but eventually I may do a 2nd Save File and go for another 25-30ish Special Vehicles after you confirm/deny a bunch of stuff...

Also for the Collections Part, I already showed you my Save Photos, so you can easily put them there if you want.

There is a Yellow Lifeguard Frogger, but it's in free roam. But slightly difficult to obtain as you need to shoot it down with Buzzard Guns, but not too much that it blows up and force it to land and then you can steal it and park it on a Character's Hanger. Yeah I like challenges. Without a challenge, I am bored.

I wish the "FIB Frogger" was obtainable. With a Save Editor, you can spawn it, but I don't know where it exists in-game. Trevor spray paints over FIB on the Frogger given to his Helipad later on in the game, but I wish you could get it saying FIB in white letters on the side, without spray paint...

Yeah, only the best Versions should be in the Guide, tbh. Besides, it'll be annoying if you run out of space, and on top of running out of space, some space being used up by inferior Vehicles. If you get "Content_Too_Long" Error, then you know what that means. You have too much text/characters on the Page and need to delete stuff to make more room. It's why I only ever included what truly NEEDED to be in a Guide, while others bitched and moaned cuz of some useless sh*t Vehicle not being in the Guide. Little do they know, the Forum can't take so much text before you run out of room. It's easier to complain than do something yourself, though. It's what I learned from some of these boneheads on the Forum...They'll nitpick over what ISN'T in the Guide instead of talking about what IS in the Guide...

I always like to be certain that what is in the Guide is literally Special and Visible in some way, shape, or form. So yeah, it's good to deny/confirm all the stuff people said over the years.

I wish there was a way to get the Unique Clown Van...

I did 13.30% right after Prologue and Franklin and Lamar. Both of these with Gold in the Starter Save, as well. It's a really easy and boring Starter Save, to be honest, but regardless, all Starter Saves for all GTA's are good to have as you can get some annoying sh*t done with out of the way in the beginning and then never have to think about it again and for all future Saves, use the Starter Save to start, rather than starting at 0% every time.

Well, you can't do 50 Letter Scraps in a Starter Save. If you're asking me to make a List of what can be done, I can easily do it. But yeah, the main things you can do in a Starter Save for V that helps out later on is 50 Stunt Jumps, 50 Under the Bridges, 15 Knife Flights, and the Shooting Range (All Gold) as Franklin. Of course there is more. If you need a List, I can tell you what can and cannot be done after Franklin and Lamar.
