Looking back at previous missions, Mallorie was always a b*tch to Roman, yet he still loved her to death. Why would this be? And after all Mal was real nice to both Niko and Roman, caring about them and when Russian Bratva burned down the apartment and taxi depot, she found them a new place to crash. In the beginning she was just working at Roman's while her fatty boss was trying to seduce her (no wonder she was kind of bitchy), but later she realized Roman isn't that bad (and the fake story about Vlad was one of the reasons I guess). Even if she was cheating on him with Vlad it was only to exert pressure of off Roman's debts. It's mentioned that Roman was trying to get women/sleeping around behind Mallorie's back early on as well. Even without the being pressured to sleep with Vlad because of Roman's debt aspect of the Mallorie and Vlad thing he was still no better than her. Not only was Roman sleeping around, but he was having threesomes! ...or that could be like the mansion and the sports car. As opined above, I don't believe that Mallorie was sleeping with Vlad. Our Russian funster was probably just egging Roman on. I think both Roman and Mallorie intend to be faithful, even in such a cynical game as GTAIV. I do, however, suspect that Mallorie might plan to keep him on a bit of a short leash, though. (You can take that literally if you don't mind the image.
