Quick thought now that this QoL update seems bigger than everyone expected:

 

What does a Quality of Life update mean for the amount of life left in (current) GTA Online?

 

• Is this Rockstar slowly rounding off GTA Online? Fixing some of the rough edges before moving on?
• Are they planning to have GTA Online around for such a long time that it needs to fixed?
• Is this part of a "balancing phase" in which Rockstar tests concepts to be implemented in GTA6?

Finally finished the 5th Casino  Bad Beats. Must have taken us 20 times. Even then we had to quick restart 3 times. Fortunately the last 2 times we'd managed to make it to a checkpoint before being killed. The last time was just before climbing up to the roof, when I noticed the Buzzard on the back porch had respawned, so I hopped into that and missiled the heck out of everybody on the roof, and we finished in about 2 minutes.

I've been playing these with my wife. She's pretty good at driving and shooting stuff, but not that great at not being killed.

(PS5) I've had a 100 round Box Magazine on my Standard Carbine Rifle for years....does anybody remember how we got those?

 

My friend is level 513 and it's not available to purchase for him.

I hope the feedback and player reaction to these things, if it increases player count/players returning etc, is a test bed for GTAO2 and these features come as standard in GTAO2.

I have a feeling R* will have learned a ton from this version of GTAO for VI's version. They went into this originally in 2013 not ready at all, now they're doing a lot of good changes this late in the game's lifecycle, there is some hope that they'll be treating GTAO 2 (or whatever) much better.

does anyone know if i have to watch out for something specific in the phone assassination mission where you have to kill the pop star with a truck? i used first the phantom wedge but his car was only one fire for a few seconds after that i used my MOC but it didn't help either

I haven't had that variation in a long time, but if I recall correctly, you get a location to pick up a truck to use if you wait a little.

Use truck that game is giving you (usually parked down at docks 'under' the Arena) - you'll have enough time, fly there, and later when you get to him shoot some tires to slow him down - you smack him good just once or twice and car will catch fire & boom he goes!

 

BTW, is there a "bag with stuff" in payphone mission where you blow up or fire up mariachi tech guy? I never found one, it is not marked like in some others - I have to use my own one molotov

Thanks i will do it if i get this mission again, i thought it doesn't matter which truck you use like in the Taxi mission where you can even use you're Pegasus Taxi from Arena War

I never found a bag in this mission either, maybe is it just a small mistake rockstar made. I put some gasoline on the motor and shot on it after he enters the car or use a molotov too

You can play the PS4 version on PS5

You can play the PS4 version on PS5, yes, but you won't get any of the exclusive perks from E&E, and you won't be able to play with E&E players.

To avoid using Molotovs, just use the vehicles parked in the immediate area to block him in, from front and rear (taxi, black Huntley, garbage truck behind rt. 68 motel, black emporer, etc.). Once he's blocked in, wait for him to enter, more importantly wait until he shuts the door (few seconds) before pulling any weapons out. Once it's shut, from the side aim, just shoot between the front bumber and tire until u see a flame shoot out the bottom. Make sure you stop and let it blow up naturally. Bonus Completed!

So I was on Facebook last night on an xbox forum and someone asked if the E&E version of GTA was worth it. Someone else replied it was not because E&E "now requires a paid monthly subscription to play".  I responded to them asking if they were referring to GTA+ and they confirmed they were. I explained that GTA+ was just bonuses and completely optional. Apparently their kid lied to them

 

 

I wonder how many other people are paying for GTA+ because someone told them it was mandatory...

this game is the best game ever man. Today I was at a car meet, we all drove around and went into the casino car garage.

 

when I tell you the experience I had today was amazing. Hip hop music coming out of parked cars, man it was so gangsta. Stop hating on rockstar cos no other game is as good as GTA Online
