I've noticed that in certain Cayo Setups it does this. Namely the East LS Longfin Impound mission. Can't Y E E T yourself over the walls for some reason. Which is annoying...given R* has decided Thou Shall Have ONE SPAWN Point by the South Wall which is about 2 to 3 minutes of running to get to the main Impound Entrance.

Today is now... Saturday morning. Hello everyone. I suppose my play style never allowed me to encounter a Slasher for this Hollow(weeeeen) event and oh well. Pretty dull if you ask me. But that Christine ghost car got me 3 times and ended me twice! That thing was cool. I even watched as an online player named "E-Girl" got absolutely slaughtered by the ghost car Thursday afternoon. The highlight of my week.

 

Anyone still getting the ghost car?

Only managed to do Series A finale heist with some low levels, just joined there and got the 20 % cut. Haven't hosted any by myself because my old heist buddies arent playing GTAO anymore. Back in the days 2x OG heists would have been a big money maker.

I'm on PC, but I'm not really short of money, lol. I have $135M.

It would be just fun to do them again. So long time has passed since I did them.

That would be a good idea if you got any money for selling those free bikes but if the podium and car meet prize cars are anything are anything to go by, you won't.

Turns out, the toreador is incredibly handy for Pacific Standard - Signal

Okay, every finale has been completed during this event week EXCEPT PS!

 

Series A: 10 times(LOVE IT and played through it a lot)

PB: One (If I get in and see a level <50 other than the host? I'm gone, sorry! That finale drives me insane having to entirely restart!)

Humane: One. EVERY time I was boring Gunner and the pilot would be a dumb ass(He had the rear blade in the water!) or the ground team kept dying.... the one success? I BEGGED the host to switch me as guess what? Gunner again bitch! Only time I got something different was when I asked! Everyone else readied up but I held it hostage until they switched my role

Fleeca: Once. Did it for the livery, not interested unless it's a low level(It's just high levels whenever I land a lobby, guess they're going for the livery like I did!)

 

 

Oh and "But why do people not play setups? " people, this week is a perfect example as I ran through the majority of PS several times and not ONCE have I received a finale invite!

You must have a curse on you or something, I had the opposite last night.

 

If I kept playing non-stop, I would have a double setup + finale (labs + series A) .

Looking to run some things this week for heists and all the other stuff, my availibity is normally monday morning 8 am to 11 or 12 in the noon,  tuesday morning im free after 6 am for about 5 hours, same for wednesday as well,  thursday thru sunday is only 8 am to around 11 am or 12 in the noon and thats it,  cant play after that as i work graveyard shift and im asleep by 1 in the noon.,  have been watching the heist of the gta channel on youtube and still a low level on xbox as its a new account and only started yesterday and that was basically just making my character look YUMMMMMMMMMMY.  do have a penthouse and fancy apartment to hang out in and have the MC club and the other stuff that came with the Criminal upgrade thingy.   Hit me up on here and send your gamertag and when you are available on xbox to play.

Unlike some of the people posting here, im having a lot of fun hosting the classic heists, 2 simple hints for those that struggle:

- Rank/level is meaningless if somebody can understand you, i've been positively surprised by a lot of low levels the last few days

- With all these heists paying 2x, just give people 25% in finale (and tell them beforehand) since technically you still walk away with 50% of normal payout, easy money & people will want to stick around

 

When i wanna start a heist i just say the following in freemode: "Im about to start preps for heist x, anybody that wants to join gets 25% in finale", within seconds you get 3 people who understand English and know that they will have to do some work before we reach finale. Sure you could take a bigger cut, but then you get the usual drama of beggars and haters, slowing you down a LOT, its much easier to just accept that everybody wants to make good money & if you give them the opportunity they will put in actual effort to make things go smooth & fast. Even low rank/level players.

About the Weevil you get as a reward for doing English Dave's missions, is there anything unique about it? Like does it have an unique livery exclusive to the reward for the missions?

If not, I want to get rid of it today because it's a sh*tty car lol.

 

Edit: Just checked the wiki, doing his missions unlocks a special livery, but surely it's also available if you just buy the car again, right?

I guess I'm selling it.

Man maybe Rockstar was on to something with trains being unstoppable. Take example A here with a guy whose tractor trailer loaded with cars got stuck on the train tracks due to the railings being too high for it to pass.

Don't worry, no one is killed in the video. A lot of cars sure died though.

Is there a glitch with criminal mastermind for the original heists?  Did it this week and I got criminal mastermind but the three other guys didn’t get it.  Three of us got loyalty but one guy got 23 out 26 for loyalty.

Oh I've done a few this week, I knew about the 500k but didn't realise there was a livery too.

Thanks..my fault for using the DLC spec thread for weekly updates, I don't check the Newswire anymore lol.

Yeah, there's at least one known glitch for CMM unfortunately.

 

Best way to avoid the one I mean (where some players get theirs reset). Host a prison break and do the first setup with the team that means to do the full run. That registers the team together.

 

Then phone Lester and cancel that prison break. Then pair up to do the 2 Fleeca's, then when you come together and start a new prison break together, all should be well. Always check after the first prison break setup after the Fleeca's and you should see 4/26 for all. If not, repeat the above.

 

Regarding the player missing out on loyalty, just need to do a Fleeca. Another known thing unfortunately.

Anyway, it was a profitable and productive week indeed. Got a group of 3 buddies their criminal mastermind. Plus made some good cash. No complaints at all!

Thanks man.  Wish I had looked into this before starting.  I feel sorry for the three other guys.  Two of them needed the money for the next dlc.
