All the ways of making money in GTAO give roughly the same payouts per hour except for Cayo Perico which is at least five times the payouts per hour. I can agree it feels weird being able to earn so much in such a short spell with such ease, but I think R* did it on purpose with the re-release in mind more than anything. It's a good way to get players back by making 'the grind' less insufferable, while planning some really expensive new content to come with the new release.

 

Much like the car meet/auto shop stuff. Both a solo friendly heist and midnight clue-esque themes are probably the highest requested over the years, and we get those both leading up to E&E. 

 

Cute marketing, the one aspect of GTA:O that has always been superb.

Agreed. The number of people this brought back into the game and the genuinely good press it garnered means that R*, no matter how much they want to, can't really gimp the payouts without proving they are money grubby dicks.

As much I would like it to be them turning over a new leaf I doubt it, I still feel it was a mistake that slipped Q&A due to working from home.

 

You could have an infinite number of players in the game but if none of them are buying Shark Cards because it's so easy to make money you might as well have a dead game.

What i don't get is,  with the size of the GTA map to travel around doing sell missions is very quick and generous pay-outs. where as the RDO map is so massive it takes a good half hour in traveling between meetings,  miles and miles of traveling for a couple of hundred dollars.

I recently joined a Diamond Casino heist and the score was diamonds. I checked everywhere for confirmation that diamonds are back and got nothing so I will ask here. Are diamonds back for the time being or did the host just glitch it somehow? I would like to know before repeatedly scouting the casino looking for diamonds.

No, they are not back. There was no official announcment for the diamonds being back for a limited time or not an element of event distribution anymore. I think R* would do that to take advantage of it.

 

Might be glitched, might be just someone having done the scope out at the time they were available and never finished it. I have done the cayo heist with the panther weeks after the event because i wasn't in the mood to grind cayo for any longer. Therefore i did only the scope out to get the panther once and to finish it later when i am in the mood again to do it.

I scouted that heist on the last day the last time diamonds were available and still have diamonds ready to loot, lol. 

 

I like having the wall complete and the arcade basement with the cars etc stored in there, plus as an emergency funds type of thing. I'll do it one day I'm sure, probably next time diamonds are available so I can do the same again.

I have two Diamonds Big Con legit stored in my Primary and Secondary characters in case one of my friends that are long gone from GTA wants the Trophy, and I have a Hard Cayo with the Panther stored in my Secondary, what is suspicious is tha fact that the guy was inviting Randoms for a heist with a special loot, but, there are some generous people out there so...

And it is convenient to have the weapon workshop ready to use while visiting the arcade for looting the safe.

I just spun the wheel today and landed on mystery, as a reward it refilled all my armor. I am talking about a complete refill, the kind you get during christmas.

From Super Light Armor to Super Heavy is maxed at ten now. An actual practically useful reward I must say.

It's is not possible to dupe tee's, right? Since i know a Studio Los Santos Tee is in the game i desperately want to have it. I am even thinking about getting in contact with R*-Support to try to coax it out of them.

 

R* should add coveralls with the names of the autoshops we can own. I have a red one which kind of fits to Flint's Auto repairs but having one with the name on it would be great. Need to find out if we can use crew logo's on those coveralls. I am desperate enough to waste hours over hours to get the job done myself by recreating that stuff as long as it is possible and not obtainable.

Well, once again an idea crushed by reality - recreating Studio Los Santos Tee and making own Flint's Auto Coverall.

Be careful. It might happen it will bug out. Meaning you are not able anymore to refill the armor completely till you have used all of them. You are only able to buy one as long as it can get directly put onto you. At least that's what happened to me and i ended up killing myself over and over again to use up the two smallest armor categories because i wasn't able to refill the biggest ones. It just takes too much time to use the smallest ones and refill your armor bar in a fight situation.

Its awkward fighting low ranks. They are dumb and do not know better and keep trying to kill you with the pea shooters they have.

Yesterday this one just kept following me everywhere trying to kill me. He just kept coming back again and again. Another player even confused me as a K/D warrior for repeatedly killing him, to which I explained that the low rank just keeps coming back and won't leave me alone.

 

Not ten seconds after sending that text the low rank comes around the bend and attacks us both and the other player understood. I take no pleasure in killing low ranks and have zero interest in K/D but I will put down a low rank if they start shooting at me. I have no idea why he was even so persistent.

 

I am a friendly guy till you give me a reason not to be. Being mistaken for a K/D warrior triggers my gag reflex.

Struggling to understand why this place, the home of all GTA knowledge has the collectable outfit scraps in the chests washed up on the shores as a Frontier outfit, when the rest of the internet has it as a pirate outfit and it arrives in chests and shipwrecks and the font is a Pirate-style font.

The moment I saw Cayo Perico all I could think was "Pirate DLC is 100% coming at some point"

 

If Rockstar don't do it, they can climb in the bin.

(and what irritated me after I unlocked the outfit today is that you can't wear any other hat instead of the standard one as it'll remove the whole outfit) Yeah... I know... Have PC = can glitch... but I really shouldn't have to!

Because its part of an outfit from Red Dead Online so I would assume it a tongue in cheek reference by R*.

This strange little low rank kept trying to sneak up on me while failing to realize I can easily see his dot on the map making its way towards me.

I know he was sneaking cause he was obviously doing stuff to prevent direct line of sight being possible like waiting around corners.
