Always fun when you come across a random guy who rubberband his controller so his character is walking around in circles.

The guy must have been brought to FR after AFK free loading missions or something.

I was able to mug him for over a good hour for 10k each time before he finally came back and left. lol

No regrets at all as I feel he was freeloading off people's work, and I hate when people did that to me.

Noticing lots more necro bumping lately. Anybody know why it isn't in the forum rules?

It's common knowledge that it is frowned upon. The reason it isn't technically against the rules is because it can be hard to say when a thread is too old to bump, especially when it is still relevant.

 

Most of the time, it is just forum noobs that have googled/searched for something and post without reading first.

Well thread relevance could be weather or not a thread can translate to today's gtao right? Rare items can still be found today, but deleting stripper contacts has been discussed and delt with for years.

 

I don't know, I just feel like it needs to be said.

I hear ya but we cant just go throwing bans around for people bumping old topics if they just flat out don't know any better.

 

On a personal note, I actually like a good necro bump every once in a while. Like a trip to the past reading through some of those old posts.

They didn't seem to find it so funny though. Eventually they got me down (you can get some really pretty raw spawnkilling through Piracy Prevention) and things didn't look great. Thankfully a friend showed up and the tide turned back in my favour before things got too bad.

So I've run into a dilemma.

I'm hyping big time for the Batmobile, right. I haven't been excited to drive a car in so long. I don't know why I'm hyping it. It's different and nostalgic? Maybe. Now that's cool but all that goes down the drain when I realized that by not renewing my Xbox LIVE Gold I'm not playing GTA:O again. Can't really shell out money for it and for the amount of time I spend on it it's just not worth it for me...which means missing out on the Batmobile. I legit hate myself for wanting something then not being able to get it.

Came across a lady that looked like the spitting image of Livejoker's Cougar last night. The only differences were that she's younger than the cougar & had a black hair (same haircut though).

 

The resemblance is uncanny! We forget a thousand things a day, this is not one of them, it was pretty scary ...

I updated my gtaforums signature to include things said directly to the community by rockstar. People trust them to make a good singleplayer for rdr2 when Rockstar cares so little about singleplayer the last 4 years. If they say dlc is coming to rdr2 I already know they are talking about the multiplayer.

Having just been on a plane for the first time in years, I now find myself appreciating how fantastic LS looks from the sky a lot more now.

 

Well, I would be appreciating it if Hydras and Lazers weren't bugging me so damn much! I wonder when those pilots will learn that a competent Pyro can obliterate other jets with ease.

Even though this makes me sound like a douchecanoe, I live in jets now! Specifically the Pyro, it's one of my favourite aircraft in the GTA series.

 

The Buzzard is pretty damn versatile, but if you want one of the more versatile planes, I recommend the Rogue. Pretty agile and it can carry a lot of weapons (explosive cannons, missiles and bombs) whilst also being a two-seater. Plus it's very inexpensive compared to dedicated fighter aircraft like the Pyro and Molotok.

I got an odd question, does the landing gear clip through the wings & the tires show up above the wings once retracted?

 

The ones I flew in the SR supply mission didn't, but the ones in Stockpiling did ...

I haven't noticed it on my personal Pyro, but I've seen a bit of clipping with the Pyro's gear in Stockpile too. It's been affecting planes for a while, the Lazer's nose wheel has a tendency to clip through the gear door and the wheels can sometimes clip through the Dodo's pontoons.

 

Oh and I've been meaning to post this for a while:

 

 

I like to think of myself as a pretty good pilot, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't regularly screw up in weird ways like in that gif. Thankfully that one was a recovery, but I've damaged my Howard so many times on small obstacles.

The name was used "SanchesFEM" cuz that female character is 2nd character on my account. I share that account with my girl and she plays as that character.

We used this "beta" name, cuz she didn't have a nick at the moment. But now she came up with her own or something. I still can't get it.

Ooh that's a relief! I thought it had something to do with the weapons that causes the clipping (SR mission is unarmed), I took the Pyro off my purchase list because of it, I'll reconsider it now. Thanks!

 

Can't really say I noticed it with the planes I fly regularly (Alpha, Howard, Nimbus, Rogue* & Swift).

I can relate to that, although I've been lucky with Howard so far ... Can't say the same about the Alpha lol.

The Alpha really piss off the Jets, they can't keep up with it.

 

Say, which handling did you choose for the Howard?
