It sounds like you might have had a bad install. I have the retail disc version [with 7 dvds] and my game is reading 1.50. When you launch the 1.48 game using the GTAV launcher it should be bring up the social club, which will then force you to download the new Rockstar launcher. When that's installed and after it scans your install it should download the 1.50 game version, which is apparently around 4gb for some odd reason.

And I have complained about many annoying things before, but this, this takes the cake.

Let us own the freakin' thing, we can dress up as firefighters, prison guards, all sorts of tactical clothing, but a NOOSE outfit is a problem? Go away.

At the very least, I've kept it looking like a tasteful Bravo knock-off, and it'll only ever get used in private sessions, for things like ramping off the boardwalk at Del Perro (except now without having to ring up Mors Mutual afterwards!). And unlike yachts/businesses, at least you can sell it if buyer's remorse (or guilt at having enabled R*'s gimmick obsession!) ever kicks in...

That's slippery slide here... Just kidding, Stromberg is the right car to have: really unique, secure, but not really popular with the big crowd. It comes with all the bells and whistles stock. I've got the Ardent recently just for that Lotus look.

While I don't like meme vehicles, I think the Stromberg could have useful application for those setups where we have to dive and emerge from water with merryweather NPC marksmen shooting from their buzzards. These guys are a pain in the ass when you're solo, they're able to see you like 20 meters before you actually emerge at the surface...C*...

Thank god. But yeah, you’re right. The Deluxo used to be the most newbie-friendly griefmachine, now that title’s been replaced by the Mk2.

 

I can’t stand Deluxo’s, if I see one I shoot them down, idc who the driver is or what they’re doing.

Some time ago I've seen somewhere that apparently all "Public Lobby Only" activites (like Gunrunning) can finally be done in an Invite Only session, barring Cargo Sales & Nightclub goods. Is it real? Is it a "glitch" F* ended up making? Does it still work? Can you really do things you previously needed to be in a Public FreeRoam to do?

 

I kinda miss this sh*tty game, but I also DON'T miss the stress of playing in a non-solo Lobby just so I can do stuff I want. Being able to play in I/O and not be restricted in what money-making activity I could do would be nice.

It was possible, through the Master Control Terminal you could purchase as an addition to the new Arcade property. It was also a glitch, and patched soon after its discovery...

When the casino heist first came out you were able to do all business stuff in invite only using the master terminal in the arcade but it was a bug and was fixed in less than 48 hours.

 

Less than 2 days to fix the businesses in invite only but over 2 weeks and they still can't fix the bug that makes the trash outfit unusable.

I met a Deluxo user just yesterday, who was picking on some guy on the ground. I chased after him a little bit with the RC Tank (if you could call that a chase, considering they're in a flying DeLorean, and I'm an RC tank..) and they ended up blowing themselves up, trying to blow me up. Weird, since I'm pretty sure you can lock on to the RC Tank with homing missiles? Not entirely sure what transpired there.

Almost got excited there. Was legitimately thinking of getting back to this game. Do y'all think I should? Been a good couple of months since I've played. $60 (in local currency) a month ain't easy nor cheap. Many fanks Sony, many fanks.

I have seen 2 the other day but it was during VIP work, I haven't seen anyone use it as their PV (Personal Vehicle) anymore.

I've seen a few, so they're not completely gone. Heck, I still even see regular Opressors, Khanjalis, Ruiner 5000s, etc.

I haven't come across khanjali's in a while, but I tell you what I seen 2 dudes in a insurgent pickup today killing randoms which I haven't seen in a lengthy period of time.

Yeah, I saw a couple going on a killing-spree with a Halftruck. Of course had to hunt them down, but still...

I think it’s a very well designed vehicle...it’s a shame it’s name was sullied by griefers.

Anyone could instantly see it would turn into a poor-mans griefer vehicle. Not to mention it's way too sci-fi to fit into GTA. The Ruiner is at least grounded.

As much as I like the Deluxo, after the dozens and dozens of random failures in the mission 'Signal Intercepts' by complete and utters morons I just don't use it much. Although the two wheel motion you get from this thing taking sharp corners is hilarious. 

 

Who/Where do I send the video of me being griefed in this mission by a player not following directions? He did absolutely nothing..I hacked all 8 targets and when he finally showed up at the airport he did nothing but blow up the large plane sooo many times. So I have about 6 minutes of missions fails of him destroying it at random times. Sometimes as quickly as he can and sometimes just after take off. Also have video of him getting shot with the 500k OC strike shortly after we returned to freemode if anyone is interested. IGN crew loser

They came after me in my Overflod Entity XF.  I could believe how much damage they put on me in a damn short time.  One volley into the back while chasing me and my car was sputtering and smoking.  They blew me up before I could go passive
