Wow. I finally got past Cashing Out last night. And would you believe, I did it with a rank 9 newbie. I'm so proud of myself. He did great work too, and quickly learned from his mistakes.

 

Here's what I did, and I can't believe I didn't think of it before. When you get near the farm, call in your Hydra, or another personalised aircraft (you won't be able to spawn your CEO Buzzard because you won't be registered as a CEO during the mission). The Hydra will spawn at the top of the hill to the north of the farm, so you can jack a vehicle to get there (or run). The MkII Oppressor would be even better but unfortunately you're limited to 20 missiles. The missiles on the Hydra seem to be really poor for taking out the helicopters, as they keep missing the target, but if you keep moving and firing you'll get them eventually. You can make short work of everyone on the ground too. However, as soon as you kill the last goon, there will be a cutscene, where you and your partner will spawn outside the farmhouse, showing Duggan escaping in a helicopter. I'd advise landing your jet safely before you kill the last guy, and just get out and gun him down. Because I was in the air at this point, my Hydra hit the ground hard (off camera) and was unable to take off in pursuit of Duggan. However, my rank 9 partner wasted no time getting to a car and chasing him down and actually sniping the pilot while still in the car. Not an easy task for a rank 9 player, so huge credit to him. Glad that mission is over with now. This allowed me to complete the heist prep mission where I obtain the security intel from Vincent.

I didn't, yet I have 20 now. Could've sworn the max was 10.

 

 

I lost all my RPG & Minigun ammo this morning. It felt odd seeing it at 20.

I bought the one near the Arena, next to Franklin's Garage.

 

It provides a useful overflow for the Arena storage and it's one straight, fast road all the way to the Casino, and fast access to the City or pretty much anywhere but the West of the map.

 

You are not going to be heisting that often or forever, so buy it for the long term, not for travelling to the Casino.

 

Plus I can land a Buzzard or Swift or similar right outside the door.on the sidewalk.

 

I hate that road in La Mesa. Flashbacks to the old days of street racing, so many lightpoles, off cambers, annoying NPC traffic etc

Anything, but the Paleto for the heists. Everywhere you like for your own pleasure. You can spawn there too, so think about it. I've chose the one closest to the beach, near the Lombank office. Also check for the space for helicopter (despite the fact it's pretty narrow here, I can get my Hunter there with no problems, but that requires a bit of attention).

I think 10 is for the Homing Launcher. RPG with the bunker challenges could be 25 max.

The bunker challenges only give you extra throwables, not extra ammo for the launchers.

Twice now when I've had my ps4 in rest mode when being in the creator I've gotten the don't cheat, we're monitoring the sessions yada yada message. Have R* a way of detecting this and consider it a bad thing or is it just a coincidence? Can't remember last time I got that message, don't think I've seen it since they introduced it with Gunrunning or whenever it was

It's quite convenient how the Heist updates reignite our love for this game, almost as if that's what we actually want!

 

I love that it's been over a year since we've had a PvP DLC, sh*t Wars and Smugglers' Cum ruined GTA Online for me and it took Doomsday and the Casino Heists to reignite my love for the game! Doesn't help that they FINALLY added a f*cking cooldown to the Easy Way Out. That was WAY overdue and no excuse on why it took this f*cking long! Now if they remove K/D altogether, that would be really impressive!

So, while my Sprunk collection has been plentiful (despite some of the more lacking liveries *cough* Asbo and Paragon R), I've decided to branch out on some other sponsorships. Dusche Gold was willing to step forward.

 

Some of the cars might need some fine tuning. Going for that Cream/Orange scheme. Tried it with the Michelli GT but it didn't work out so I try to limit it to one Dusche per class.

 

(Dont mind the Coquette Blackfin. It's my non-sponsored ride and it just wants to fit in. Want to race with that helmet, after all.)

 

EDIT: Just realized I put sports wheels on the Sentinel Classic. Might have to fine tune that.

You should try any of these hex codes: #c13500FF or #c13500AA

 

They're based on the official Jagermeister orange color used on their racecars (of which Dusche Gold is a reference for).

I wish Patriot Beer and Xero Gas had similar amounts of sponsored cars as Dusche and Sprunk. Most cars I own that have sponsor liveries are sponsored by Patriot or Xero and the ones that don't have either of those use whichever one looks nicer or close-ish to a real livery.

Was riding around on my oppressor and saw a chopper...turned auto-lock missles off and rode over to him.  By the way he was flying I could instantly tell he was searching for collectibles.

 

I texted him "Looking for treasures?"

 

"Yep"

 

"Cool, good luck", then I flew off

 

 

30 seconds later I get a text "You're the nicest person on an oppressor I've ever come across"

Xero has gotten like 5 in the last 3 updates, most are actually really decent liveries like the Sentinel Classic and the Flash. I want more Arrow gas liveries to go with my GB200 and Retinue MkII. I have two 10 car garages full of Redwood team cars but unfortunately so many lackluster cars get one these days and the liveries themselves have been getting less and less inspired. It's almost as if they know that if they slap a Sprunk or Redwood livery on a car it will sell well with completionist collectors..

Never, under any circumstances use Zhaba as your getaway vehicle. Faggio may be a better choice and I'm not completely joking. If you think you want a discount to buy it, think again: it's so bad that you may as well forget about it. Slow, light, can't handle off-road either. It's beyond me why this thing exists if we have APC already, much better choice for amphibious armored vehicle.

And the driver has the gall to charge you 10% cut for mediocre vehicle (Vagrant's nice, though).
