You cant change the spoiler on the XA-21 because it has an active one. It raises out of the bodywork at a certain speed.

What traction value did you look up?

 

The XA-21 has no downforce; most of the cars that have downforce have more traction than the XA-21, especially on stunt tracks because altitude increases the effect of downforce.

 

But the XA-21 has 50-50 all-wheel drive, which gives it great acceleration, particularly in the city where the roads are more bumpy. Also it looks very nice.

I admit, it could be rubbish but like I said, I dont Race so I am not in that scene at all.

Grand Theft Auto Online

The XA-21 is unrivaled in terms of traction and cornering capability, beating all other supercars in the game. Its high grip translates well when going around multiple corners; however its weakness is its top speed, which is only average for the class (if acceleration hasn't been fully upgraded).

Ah, I see... unfortunately the wiki vehicle descriptions are very unreliable. They are rarely updated as well, when new cars surpass past performance.

The Cyclone has ridiculous acceleration so I think that explains its result in the video more than traction, which it doesn't have much of for a supercar.

Fair enough. It's perfect for me, normally Supers spin out because of my bad driving or don't respond how I want them to but this one does.

 

On a side note, the Toros seems to have better acceleration (and perhaps top speed) than the XA-21 but it might just be me.

Oh, it's a great car, probably in my Top 3 of Supers. (Entity XXR, GP1, XA-21)

 

It just isn't all that great for racing.

 

I can't compare it to the Toros because I don't own one... or any other SUV.

Your missing out on the Toros. You really are, it's a beast that can hang with the Supers. Its a hybrid car like the Gauntlet Hellfire, its in one class but it hangs with another.

but don't the advanced handling flags affect the overall performance and acceleration?

I think for the next upcoming DLC we need a MK2 version of the marksman pistol, that thing is f*cking sturdy as hell!

I didn't know it had any. I thought it came out well before all the flags nonsense. I did do the trick where I lowered the transmission so the gear box does not lock up.

maybe when you lowered the transmission it could have made a slight difference.

but in this video broughy explains bouncy suspension in the toros so check it out whenever you're ready so you can get a rough idea of how the toros performance is affected.

the arena wars DLC was the reason why handling flags were in place stupid f*cking useless, absurd DLC.

Cant say I have noticed it. I find it performs well on and off the roads. It did have a glitch where if you put the highest Transmission the gear box tried to jump to a gear that did not exist so when you slowed down it used to lock into second gear and stayed there no matter how hard you pressed the accelerator until you stopped completely and put it in neutral.

Yes it is. That glitch also affects the Emerus, Paragon and possibly the Krieger. It also gets your car stuck in 9th gear, not 2nd which is why acceleration will feel sluggish.

You can't win without either the Emerus or the Krieger in most races.  The Deveste 8 has it's moments for sure, but the Emerus and the Krieger are kings of the Stunt tracks.  

 

Regarding the sluggish response, the Thrax is really affected by it.  When I'm coming off a jump I release the go trigger and pull it a couple of times before I land, seems to help.

Thats true, I've been racing my Emerus since it came out, but I downgraded it's transmission so I didn't get that 9th gear bug after landing.
