I tend to protect people doing deliveries, but mostly stopped announcing that, because sadly as soon as you say that 3 tryhards wake up and you're outnumbered, especially with low levels all buying the MK2 Oppressor as their first vehicle (seriously F*CK R* for not putting a level cap on nightclub/terrorbyte/mk2-bike ownership) i've learned that its just safer to stay quiet, in an effort to not freak out the person delivering i tend to fly a street block to their left/right or infront of them though, so most will quickly understand im not there to ruin their shiz but to protect it.

So, I've been thinking for a while about the cars I've won off the wheel and toying around with the thought of making custom plates saying "PR1ZE" on them. It's always a nice remainder I got them for free and/or sold off the one I bought.

My game thinks I haven't completed the prologue now since the power went out while I was playing a few weeks ago, so it drops me into SP before automatically loading online immediately, and many times while loading from SP i hear explosions while in the clouds.

Could this be some actual freeroam shenanigans or is it just some sounds R add to the loading screens?

I've noticed, that if you ignore Online meta with car ownership, business and other stuff and try to play Online like you've played IV/ single player, it will be extremely bad. After a long pause I've played Online due to the lost mods thanks to R* launcher and find it empty: no traffic, too little NPCs, no animals and broker vehicle spawn system. Anyone who plays on PC, just try playing SP with mods and ability to spawn whatever you like, Online restrictions will be nauseating after and you will free a lot of time for either different games or something completely different. I'm playing Dirt Rally 2.0, WRC 8 and F1 2018 (yeah, need to get 2019 but I will finish this one first) almost daily while I'm free from grinding stuff, organising my garages and looking at the clouds.

Oh it's an extremely bad game. Could you imagine gta5 single player campain playing like a business? "Pick up trev in Sandy shores, pick up Frank in strawberry, drive to paleto, npc ambush here, grab the mission obj, then go to lester, you now have to collect 50 crates to start the next heist"

"Scouting the port" is the closest thing in Story Mode to the Online experience.

 

That and the Trafficking missions for Trevor, but at least those are kinda fun though.

i left the heist after these guys failed it for the 6th time, in the last fail he couldn’t dive with the parachute and died, i didn’t fail anything and did everything in the way it should have been but it’s implssible to play with these people. do you think i’m a douche because i left?

I'm a car afficionado and organising and rearranging my garages is one of the few last things I really enjoy in GTAO. I wish something like this would be possible in the Forza Horizon series because it makes me feel more like I actually own the cars instead of only collecting them. But I think I get your point. I'm glad that I never dedicated my whole playing time to GTAO and instead always played other racing games or other extensive story games like Kingdom Come, Witcher or Assassins Creed series along the way. Maybe that's why I'm not so burned out or annoyed by GTAO and now I only do what I enjoy since I own everything what I want in the game. But yes, compared to SP, the online mode is very bland and I wouldn't play it if I didn't still have fun with the old and the new vehicles.

Why does the game prompt you to deposit cash via ATM when its easier to use your phone?

Was this an update where R* didnt bother removing the old prompt?

I believe there's a reason that we can't get MP garages in SP without using mods and console players are ultimately denied this experience. Because to experience this exact feeling people can grid for hundreds of hours.

It was like that since day one, just like with other persistent bugs that were never addressed: Pegasus spawn bug (if the spot is occupied, you can't get your vehicle to spawn for hours unless you're far away from the spot), Headhunter passenger bug (your passenger will be kicked out of the vehicle after killing next target), Pegasus voice bug (even after hanging up the phone, you're obliged to hear the generic line that your vehicle is waiting for you). This game is a mess and should be forgotten sooner than later.
