I was shocked a few days ago,  I was taking part in the Hot Property event , I had it, I was hiding out in one of the tunnels, and finally, had a player figure out where I was and started to come after me. 

 

I think it has to do with so many players have skipped SP so they havent had the time to learn the map.

Apparently they don't do gang attacks either, you have to go into the tunnels for one of those   (of course they don't do gang attacks, they just do their best to f*ck up other player's games, I know).

They probably think you're cheating going down there: using a legitimate under the map location.

You know what would be awful? Too many people reporting people for being in the tunnels and R* responds by locking off that tunnel in online because they gotta pander to the griefer kiddos.

 

Why learn a map when you can fly in a futuristic hairdryer?

I once played the MOC mission with the Oppressors in the tunnels with 3 randoms (no idea why I did that) the host knew what they were doing but the other 2 were low levels.

Either way, I drove with the host and one of the low levels to directly in front of the big hole in the wall that leads into the tunnels, me and the host walked in

but the low level, despite being shown the entrance spent the entire mission, alongside the other low level, running above the tunnels, trying to find the Oppressors.

While me and the host delivered all 4 Oppressors.

 

And not long ago, in Bad Sport, I was hiding with a bounty in the abandoned mine in Blaine County while your typical braindead BS player spent over 30 minutes trying to find me and kill me from above the mine, on the hills. At some point he called in his TB and used the missile launcher from some distance. He never got me ofcourse.

The braindeadness was real.

The B11 does not have a Hover Mode, its gun is not a Laser of Death, the Barrage needs a modicum of skill and at low altitude the B11 is outstripped by passing butterflies.

Can the Community as a whole push R* to add buttons/ways to go back to Single Player if your game locks up in the clouds?

 

If this was any generation but this one would you need to reset your entire Console every time this happens.

I've tried to git gud with the Barrage Missiles on the B-11 Strikeforce, then I accidentaly switch to the cannon, I remember how crappy it is and I crash the jet into the ocean and pick up my Hunter instead or something.

As much as I would support this (and any push for fixing the game for that matter) this community (as in the GTAO community at large and not only GTA Forums) is notorious from not wanting to see the game improved in any way whatsoever, which is a shame.

 

Hell, the mere thought of suggesting that there's something wrong with the game unleashes the wrath of so many people for some reason, cue the trite responses and excuses like "its part of the game", "its gta", "the game told me to", "git gud", "stop crying", "entitled millenials", "dont like it? dont play it", "go play Minecraft/Fortnite/*insert game for kids here*" and many more.

 

We have the game that we deserve.

Spot on. It does give me great satisfaction when I use Chaff and shoot down a MkII and they get angry over it.

I once plummetted my Strikeforce straight into the ground from a divebomb, and it didn't even made it smoke. I just took off again like nothing ever happened.

 

That plane is hella tough.

For some reason I feel the planes are a lot more durable in Multiplayer compared to Singleplayer. 

 

Try clipping the dodo and surviving, I bet it blows up in Singleplayer on the first hit and you and the dodo don't survive

 

Online,  she'll be smoking but still running. 

 

Heck I know the Avenger isn't in Single-player but I've run that sh*t straight into the ground and trees and the most it's done is break the propellers. Had it been in Single-player it would've been a burnt wreck the moment it hid the ground badly.

The Avenger and MOC (and perhaps the Terrorbyte) all have hidden MP only scripts that give them insane armour.

Seriously. I love the thing, but this is definitely its biggest weakness. It's pretty sad to fly above the street and fail to catch the Issi you see driving below you.

Oh my yes, Happy Hunter had a guy who is busy snipe strafing while he fails to check the ambience at how a sound of helicopter engine comes closer at him and still even fails to realize the engine got shut until some "stranger" knocks him out cold

 

one commentator assumes he's blasting trap music while playing, i do enjoy music but i still need to rely my ears for better awareness

Was in a weird lobby today. There was a level 500+ guy in godmode flying around in a jet and an Oppressor MK2 but not killing anyone and when he was on my yacht during piracy prevention I shot him with an auto shotgun a few times and he just saluted me and left. Then when I started fully loaded half the lobby came after me and one of them I killed 11 times but he still kept coming after me. I got 30 - 40 kills and I didn't even go after anyone I was just killing them when they came after me. Usually everyone with half a brain stays away from fully loaded runiers.

Don't think it's necessary to reset your console every time it happens. At least on ps4 we can just disconnect internet in the settings and it will take you back to story mode

Couldn't agree more. I particularly like the ones who attempt to tell us what GTA is supposed to be while still in their teens... because y'know, I've only been playing GTA games since 1997... and was making mods for the top-down games before they were even born, I don't need it explained to me after two decades of experiencing almost every game in the franchise so far, thank you very much 

 

It's not just this game too, as well we all know - among many others, Sea of Thieves is an absolute sh*tshow for this kind of attitude, which is why i've given up on that community and the game itself can take a long walk off a short plank. I have no idea why so many players put effort into defending companies for flawed or intentionally poor practices, as if they're getting any benefit or gratitude from doing so.

 

We all lose out when lazy or flawed development is defended or justified by the end user. This whole "it's not an issue for me, therefore it's not an issue" attitude is ignorance and stupidity at its most infuriating.

So far so good on this weeks Double cash/rp.  I make sure I make micro transactions of 8 crate sales.  I make 227K already sold 6 sets of 8 thus far and 2 special cargo for 250K a piece.  So far, 1.8million made rather quick.  I prefer small sales as to keep drop offs to a minimum with less hassle since I do solo sales.  Sure I can sell large stock, but nah.  Keep it small and make it fast.  Too bad the nightclub inventory doesn't fall into this weeks doubles, would be nice to make more.

 

Keep selling my brothers and sisters.

I agree with this statement solely because sourcing and selling 9 crates is about all I can take in one sitting. I actually timed myself yesterday, and found out something interesting: Sourcing 9 crates (3 at a time) and selling them only took 16 minutes (only accounted for sourcing and selling time, not the cooldown in between).

 

That's akin to $761k of profit per hour, or $963k in total revenue per hour - and that's just with half a small warehouse. Kind of crazy. Still hate crates, though

Small sales are a complete waste of time. You know per-crate value goes up the more you sell, right? Put yourself in a solo lobby and you can easily complete any 3x vehicle sale in the entire half hour they give you.

Considering that V was released in 2013 and VI may see the light in 2023 (especially on PC), there going to be a new generation of players and OG will be in their 40s at the finest. Majority of new video games are catered to kids, at least it seems so.
