But modded cash can lead to people not having any drive to actually play the game because they just bought everything without working for it, and thus feel entitled to talk down on people who actually work for their wealth, call them no-life losers, and grief the crap out of them as they have no respect for people that actually try to earn cash legit.

 

But that doesn't apply to everyone, of course.

Yea, I mean the actual voices. I guess its like Dubbed vs Subbed anime. The English dubs are normally good while other languages are awful so most people either watch them in Japanese with your countries subtitles or just watch them in English.

We had a bit of a discourse last night on a live stream of RDO where the streamer thought that one of the voices in a cutscene sounds very much like that of one from GTA, and that supports my theory that R* probably use the same pool of voice actors for GTA and RDR, and will likely continue.

It makes sense, assuming that the general community of voice actors available to game companies is probably relatively limited.

 

Not talking known Hollywood names, but the meat and potatoes actors that generally don't get credits splashed all over the media.

That's not a criticism of these actors at all, because we all know the quality of their work is top notch.

There is probably a much larger pool than is used on one game, but I'd bet that there is a significant amount of cross employment throughout the T2 stable.

 

Hollywood often follows this in practice: a director or producer get familiar with certain actors who they feel fit their vision for the results they're chasing, and find that they work well together, and so form a long term working relationship that benefits all involved.

There's less friction during production with a core group of like minded people who get along, so things run much more smoothly, and the results are always better.

John Huston and Clint Eastwood are two that spring immediately to mind in this regard, they often worked with the same small main group of people over the course of quite a few projects.

100% god mode. Most people use god mode just to grief other players but there are a lot of people that just use modded/glitched money to buy cars, businesses and just have fun without having to grind the same things everytime they play. I have a lot of glitched money and it isn't bad for anyone because all I do is missions with other people and the rest of the time I'm in a solo public session doing business stuff or invite only doing Ms Baker missions or modifying my cars.

God mode by a mile, both in PvE and PvP. In some missions I would like to have god mode myself. Modded money theoretically can harm others, in reality are in check via numerous cooldowns R* generously implemented almost everywhere. I don't judge any cheat using unless it interferes with other players experience in an intrusive manner.

 

Speaking of modded money, I'm now more for the cause than against it. When you're really busy with your life and can't grind it's either modded cash for $20 on PC or Shark Cards for $100+. I'd rather get another R* game than shark card, but they're not releasing any on PC.

Now if someone does a godmode glitch and plays missions or survivals that's fine. Just don't bring that into pvp

Totally agree with this, with godmode players are invulnerable but at least with modded cash it doesn't affect a players vulnerability because you can still eliminate them.

I actually would be delighted if a player uses godmode in the casino missions because they NPCs are like f*cking terminators lol

A lot of people with modded cash are either lone-wolf or friendly players. Not that all of them are saints, that's statistically impossible and a lot of general black hat cheaters are also using modded cash, but those who stop at the money will probably never bother you both in PvP and in PvE. That's my observations, because they're either enjoying non-stop fights and challenge from that or too while enjoying the tranquillity and buy glitching another million or two. Or five.

Had a notification above the mini map saying 'Rockstar games have given you some clothes' but I can't find anything new either in my wardrobe or in a clothes store. 

There ARE some categories in the casino store with a star but the next menu has nothing new or is completely empty. 

Any ideas?

Think I found 2 items in my wardrobe.. 

Under Casino Hoodies there is a white 'Ash The Diamond Hoodie' 

Under Lounge wear is a 'White The Diamond Silk Robe' 

 

Fairly certain I didn't buy/have theses items before. Can't find any others though. 

I assumed these were the platinum casino awards but I thought one of those was a watch which I can't find anywhere.

Someone mentioned there's a bug that reverts the engine mods on cars stored in the master penthouse garage back to stock, is that true? And if so, was it patched? Or still active?

Felt like I struck some gold in terms of players in the lobby I'm in at the moment. 

 

Earlier I was doing a nightclub promotion that involved destroying bahama mamma supply trucks, I saw a MK2 near one of them I had to destroy but swayed off on avoiding him, he thought from he's POV I was after him so fired a shot at me to which I jump out of my Buzzard and send him a message asking why he did that "Thought you were after me but you weren't" he said, we exchange a few more messages saying "All good" and go our ways

 

Next I'm doing a resupply for my bunker, Railguns at the Docks at Merryweather HQ. I had my Scramjet on me instead of my Deluxo this time around so decided to drive back. My finger might've gotten a little trigger happy when I was passing a rival organisation and fired an accidental shot P!ssing off the the CEO of that org. I get a little ahead and send a message saying "I thought I was targeting AI but got you instead, my bad" and then he sent a message back saying "all good". 

 

Very rare of GTA Players not to come off as smart alecs when you accidentally screw up something.

Similar things have happened to me too. It's hard to believe sometimes, but there really ARE a few good people out there.

Friend of mine got "busted" when Doomsday came out.
He went on a "rampage" in his Avenger and started shooting endless waves of cops. And suddenly got busted because cops aren't equipped to deal with a tiltrotor military aircraft operated by degenerates.
