I posted this image in the next DLC thread, and when I did I noticed something.

 

The newswire last week called the blimp the "Atomic Blimp".  But we can't buy the Atomic Blimp online. That one is Single Player exclusive.

Also I find it quite interesting how the prototype model of the Assault Rifle MK2 has an under-barrel grenade launcher attachment.

 

 

Would have been a nice feature to assault rifles, just curious how would it work. Switch to it by pressing the button to turn the flashlight on and off.
Or the button to throw a grenade while aiming.

This is beautiful, thank you so much to both you and V! It's impressive the ammount of detail that R* gives to things like this that most players wouldn't notice.

Lol don't worry about me having to spend money to take a single picture, my second character needed his own Bunker anyways and it was on discount too, I see this as an absolute win!

I actually talked about it in the DLC Speculation Thread some time ago, when Piro suggested an M16 like the one from Scarface.

 

And yeah, it could work both ways:

 

- On PS4, keeping pressed Right on the D-Pad to activate and deactivate the Grenade Launcher mode (kind of like in Call of Duty) while just tapping Right on the D-Pad would turn on and off the Flashlight if you have one equipped on your weapon.

- Pressing Left on the D-Pad coule fire the Grenade Launcher, replacing the Explosive throwing animation (although you could still throw them by swiping up on the Touchpad, I guess).

Unberbarrel grenade launcher would be a cool thing to EWO with if projectiles will go off at the minimal distance.

I got so frustrated getting beat by the GD Deveste 8 in Stunt races I bought one for character #2.  I can’t keep the damn thing on the track.  Does anyone have any hints on how to drive the thing?

Practice, and especially practice on the tracks you want to race on.

No substitute.

I've seen people do really well with it and the GTO, it just takes very good familiarity with the cars and the tracks.

Cornering is the big issue, so get a good feel when to launch into the corner and how far you can push it.

As with the GTO, use the damn brakes!

 

I had a 1000+ ranked player ask me the other day how I keep the GTO on the track. The problem is that, as well as the D8, players are hurling them at full speed into corners without braking and expecting them to just go around. They won’t, at least the D8 won’t. The GTO needs a bit of gentle coaxing, but when you get the hang of it, the thing is unbeatable.

 

Brake often, back off on the speed. Slow down into corners and onto jumps. Blip the accelerate button in tight bends to prevent oversteer.

It wouldn't be that practical because those explode on a timer and only explode instantly if they hit a player/NPC or a vehicle.

 

I know this because I have killed myself several times by accident by firing a round with the Grenade Launcher just for it to ricochet in a wall in front of me and hit me back.

If R* wants to drain bank accounts before the dlc they should release a Bennys merge. I've spent a few million already today just buying cars to merge and most of them I'll just end up deleting anyway.

 

Anyone have any recommendations for muscle cars that look good with Bennys wheels? I've never done it with muscle cars cause I don't want modern wheels on them.

Ah a fellow merger

I haven't spent as much with this one as I have done the previous ones and got benny's on what I want, although this one is more convenient this time since it's solo, I wish there was an easy way to put the ramp car in the arena as I want to get the missing spoiler on that thing.

Impaler with thin stripe white walls and the rims that have the knockoff spinner in the middle (don't remember the name) looks pretty sweet. As do a Hustler and Hermes with I think the Rod me up wheels.

Nightshade, Hustler, Yosemite, Ellie, Dominator GTX/regular, Clique, etc etc. 

 

Glad this new one came no so I'm able to change rims on a lot of the cars I merged with the first Bandito merge and also add Yanktons

I didn't know there was a way to get the spoiler. The way I got Benny's wheels on my SV was getting another one with a GCTF doing the merge and replacing the original. I don't think there is a GCTF out at the moment though.

I'll have to buy onther of each I already have a Impaler and a few Hermes but I don't want to change them. Pretty soon I'm going to need a garage just to store all my Hermes in.

 

I forgot I did this one. I might change it though and save a bit of room.

The car has a spoiler yeah, you can only see it in the one you get during is designated Special Mission, so I figured it would be possible to get the spoiler on it if you merge it with something that has a spoiler.

and yeah sadly there are no GC2F at the moment

I missed the chance to merge the Bandito with something when the early glitches were coming out. Now if I merge a car with my Bandito to change the trim color on a car that normally doesn't have the option I end up with a dirty dupe.

Right now you can probably do the merge glitch to clean dirty dupes but there's also a nightclub version where you also can get insurance on the Blazer lifeguard and clean dirty dupes
