Just came back to GTA Online after a few months and I gotta say it was entertaining to play the new Simeon missions. It felt kinda refreshing after not having to turn on the game every day and try to force yourself to grind missions.

Just wait until you play nothing but the Repo missions until you're bored as f*ck of them, because that's all you're going to get on the voting screen, and it's all people will play until the new update comes out with new missions.

Popped into a public lobby to buy supplies, heard some grown ass kid complaining how he was grounded for 2 months because he stole his phone back from his teacher after she took it from him in class.

 

The then told a girl to "shut up bitch ,damn we don't wanna hear about your personal problems".

My parents used to ground me for a MONTH and during this time I was NOT allowed to use any electrical entertainment device. (keep in mind that I'm now 21, so this was like 8 years ago).

 

That kid sounds like a real delight to be around. SMH.

When I was a kid and got in trouble they made me stand in the corner of the room until I fell asleep standing up.

 

There was no devices to take away back then lol.

I had NES and Sega to be taken away when I got grounded, I call those our devices of the day

My 7 year old loses her Kindles when she gets grounded, so yeah, that is like the common thing to do when grounding a kid.

Seriously? It's T-H-E mission for stealth! Just have a suppressed weapon and go haywire in Stealth Mode and you'll be fine. Preferably use a pistol (a weak one at best) and try to get as close to the target/guard as possible, as sometimes the bullet would (rarely) get through the guy you just shot and pass next to someone else which will alert them.

Today, something extraordinary happened. There was a Bad Sport session with players who participated in a car meet! Several people brought out their cars, no MK2 nonsense, cruised around, then headed off to the airport to do some drag races, and here was some of the footage.

 

By the way, Imperator + Boost + Wheelie = OP (You can beat an Itali GTO with it if done right, and it's fun as hell)

I did this last night, got the first car without triggering the cops.  2nd one was clear and as I got out of my personal vehicle a cop spawned in a car right in front of me.

That trailer sold me on the game back in 2013, but six years later, it looks positively idyllic, compared to the overpriced, buggy, gimmick-ridden hellscape that is 2019 GTAO...

I gotta rob loads of stores this weekend though, been playing III and VC of late and really into that old vibe, this week's bonus there is pretty spot on for me, lol.

 

Game's still got a bit of spark. But so much more potential. I hope the negative reaction to how less interactive the club felt than what was hoped for based off older games in the series was felt. And with casino stuff being often mentioned to be scrapped single player content, I hope because the basis is possibly a lot older in its base from a different outlook at the time, and if the feedback helped, it does excite me a little more knowing there's a bit more chance we could get something that bit better than previous.

 

Probably over-sold it, but must stress my expectations aren't wild.
