Yeah first time that happened to me with the MC stuff I was afk in a public lobby near the Mission Raw police station and I looked back and saw those in there and I was like "did modders finally arrive in PS4?" lol

then eventually I thought that would be the "spawn seed" of those vehicles.

Even when it was 2x a few weeks ago, it took me HOURS to fill up the hangar and I made something like $300k. And that was with 2x!!! Much better ways to make money. I will admit - it was fun doing the different sourcing missions and flying different planes, as I'd never done them before.

Yeah those missions are fun, but the pay is garbage. I prefer Gunrunning sales tbh - in both the fun and the payout. That Phantom Wedge tho.... lol. And I though INSURGENTS were rammers.

If you own one, Plowed is great fun too.

Getting paid around $28,000 for smashing the tar out of npc vehicles up and down the highways and streets of LS is very satisfying, especially if you flip them high enough to explode when they land.

The 4 wheel drive trucks are best, they get good air when you hit them hard straight on.

You're welcome to join us sometime! You can also find them from the pause menu under regular missions, but it can often put you into a random lobby when you try - there's unfortunately no option to just host unless the game doesn't find a lobby in progess.

Another friend and I played with a random who kept killing himself at the end of "Desperate Times Call For..." by repeatedly shooting an RPG at the Moonbeam you're supposed to destroy at the end. Literally, we'd all just be getting out of the van and before we can take one step, he just turns around and fires, killing himself and failing the mission. It happened three times and that was enough for me, so I gave them a rest for the night.

 

Yea though, the missions are decent, but it only takes one to really screw them up. I understand getting killed during the missions - that happens to us all every now and then, but this was just a random either purposely being stupid and impatient or trolling us.

 

That's my main complaint, but this sort of thing is unfortunately to be expected in GTA.

definitely a troll lol you should have quit after the second time they did it. that's also one of my least favorite missions of the lot, next to slow and low, it's a g thing and lowrider envy. funeral party is probably my favorite just for its overall vibe

 

peace offerings is a true challenge though, i sort of both commend and condemn rockstar for it lol.

You got good answers already, but just to clarify: you can call a cab when you have some/any cash on you (even when the payment will always be taken from your bank account as says R* logic), the cab will spawn close to you (quicker than in SP and a bit faster than mechanic delivers your PV), and my personal favorite, AFK timer doesn't run during transit. Because the cab's routes have been made very limited (doesn't drive over Vinewood Hills but instead uses highways), a longer trip can easily take 10-15 minutes (if you don't ask the cabbie to step on it) before AFK clock starts ticking so you have plenty of time to make yourself a sandwich after setting a destination and yourself in passive mode.

 

And a bonus hint for lulz: if you call a cab at Fort Z's southern gate, the cab will often "glitch" inside Fort Z, meaning it will cross the point where there's a break in its AI's GPS routing. Meaning, you will be sitting in a cab inside Fort Z area, but the AI doesn't see any route out of Fort Z cause both gates are virtually closed to it. So if you set any waypoint outside Fort Z while sitting in a cab inside Fort Z perimeter, you will see cabbie driving around Fort Z trying to find an exit that doesn't exist for it.

Making a small post here, as it is pretty general.

 

I like these dead weeks with no offical news (or leaks) before the next dlc. Nothing to grind as I quit grinding, and nobody to help with their grinding, only a few regular sales now and then.

 

These dead weeks are great for playing with Creator and Rockstar Editor. Just have fun and build/create stuff. I like it. Kind of like a vacation. Wonder if this is the way it will be after the final dlc and R* quit updating the game. Bet some of us will play this game for years still (no news on VI).

Is that the last one? A friend asked me for help with that a few weeks ago, I could only find 1 other friend, so I had to bring in my 2nd ps4 and it was freaking hard.

I was suprised to only die once, on the 2nd run I had to change controllers several times to pop snacks, change cover, shoot something. I was on the brink of death several times, I don't know how I didn't die more than once.

That mission is easy on normal occassions, but when you have to control 2 accounts and one is a low level with not a single piece of cover that protects you during the entire fight, sh*t gets pretty intense.

yep, last one. even on normal difficulty it can get pretty challenging so i avoid that one like the plague with low level randoms.

Easy without randumbs, just keep your snack menu open all the time, just like heists.

That nice moment where you have just had the cargobob nightclub sale mission back to back or twice in three. Because you are as far away from it coming around again as you can get.

 

Nothing I ever do in life, let alone gaming will be harder than doing that during snow week, at Paleto Bay, at dawn in that awful fogging effect. I thought it was going well only to see the Mule half submerged in the ocean. Still pulled it off in the end, but never, ever again will I do that in the snow at dawn there.

Oh yeah I remember that mission, it's a pain to do but it's a change from the normal stuff.

Joined a random invite to a Lamar mission, host was almost level 600, me being the highest level, the two others was level 5 and 33, guess who died..

Come to think of it, the RCV is perfect for Peace Offering. Its long enough, low enough & tall enough to make a decent barrier. I haven't been to Benny's since I/E came out, but I believe you can use the RCV to block the Western access point & prevent the Vagos from attacking you from that alley .... Or the very least create a tight bottle neck situation for them.

Lemme guess, the host who gets out of the car and take cover behind the car

 

instead of drive by using machine pistol or micro smg, because driveby is much safer and faster
