Back in the day, if you died in a police shootout & your PV got Impounded, you can just go, steal it back & move on.

 

Lately every time I do that, the vehicle I broke out of the impound is considered Destroyed when I log in the next time & I have to pay the insurance fees for it.

I know it happens when your current personal vehicle is impounded and you call in another PV from your mechanic, your current PV gets destroyed.

I've had no issues with the impound (other than the fact it happens way too often doing the robbery client job!), but then I always call a Buzzard from the CEO menu after getting whacked by the wigglies .

So I was doing the speed glitch on the MKII when I let go of the buttons, and it started doing it by itself, with the MKII facing up. Pretty damn cool.

So this morning I meet two chill as hell Randos (They still exist somehow), a third person joins, that's been stalking these two randos I met, and blows up my Jester Classic with "Her" Noobbike MK2, only to blow themselves up seconds later. I then respawn and grabbed my Carbine Rifle MK2, and thanks to a little fiddling with settings the night before, I had perfect Free Aim, also didn't help they had some Neon Colored Headwear at night time (8 Headshots) only 8 of my kills were with my rifle, the other two were RPG kills, since I saw them pull their's out first, they went passive and rage quit before I could get salty messages, did get this tho:

All three kills they got were by spamming their Noobat MG with FFA. This was my first fight since returning to GTA, say it went well in my favor.

How do you die doing Robbery in Progress? I bring the TB along and clear Wanted level when entering the back of it, take out my MkII and park it right in front of the door, before I go inside the Fleeca banks. Without Wanted level, you can position your MkII for a quick getaway to perfection. No copper is gonna get me!

When I'm in a hurry, I bring in the CEO Buzzer from the start. You get to the job fast, can land it close to the building, too (don't bother with soft landing, cops will shoot it up smoking anyway), get away from the job fast; and even if the cops get you, CEO Buzzer doesn't get impounded, it stays put where you left it.

 

And I'm a very average player - if I can do it, it's foolproof

Yep, that's how it works.

@Lucy_Woooolfe Even when I drive the impounded car back to the garage, I still have to pay insurance for it the next time I log in. Kinda frustrating. (X1)

I just fly out (most often it's Route 66) on the Op MkII, blast the cops & juggernaut, park it in front of the door, run in, grab the bag, and run out.

A lot of the time a large mess of cops show up quickly, and with their perfect aim waste me before I get settled on the MkII.

 

If I wait in the bank for them to come in, they can shoot me through the glass doors while I can't hit them at all.

 

If they show up fast I usually can't get away, so have to call for the Buzzard, position it, retrieve the bag, then fly back over the hills to the drop.

 

The Vinewood robbery usually goes smoothly.

The juggernaut is piss taking, but it's funny when you take him out. Listen to the sound he makes as he dies. XD

If you get the Route 68 one, fly in with the Op MkII, shoot the minigun one from aside LSC's building and fire an extra few at the bank's doors, to kill the second robber. With one left, move towards the bank entrance (first trigger to get cops coming at ya) and fly up high for a minute to wear off the 2 star wanted level. Once that 's off, you can go down and position your MkII as precise as you want. Cops get triggered (second cop trigger) once you enter the bank. With only 1 robber left, in the vault area, you're in&out and boosted off, before cops are near enough to kill you. Wearing off wanted level may look longer than busting in, but it spares you the time to retrieve your vehicle, which takes a lot longer.

 

if you park your TB near Vangelico's to start Robbery, you will get Del Perro and Pacific Standard more often and lots less Route 68. I used to initiate Robbery at the Life Invaders office after doing Targeted Data, which is too close to the Del Perro location, so the game choses between Pacific Standard and Route 68 and mostly picking the latter. From the Vangelico location, the game choses from all 3 fleeca's.

Logged on today around 2:00 PM my time on GTAOnline and ended up in another persons lobby and after I said I was cool and harmless he thanked me for the message and we let each other do our own things, I decided to do vehicle cargo while the earnings is at $1.5x over not being a bonus usually. First car was a Tyrus at a movie stunt jump up in vinewood hills, I was a bit concerned about this one as when I've done it in the past I usually screw up and end up being detected no matter how I play this mission. I followed a youtube video and what I did was wait until one of the patrolling guards was facing the other way and then steal the car which I did successfully, no bad AI guys came after me. 

 

As soon as I delivered the Tyrus I sold it straight away for $150K with no damage to it what so ever 

 

Then after the sale called in my Terrobyte and sourced another car, standard range Feltzer number plate R4C3R, that was at the Windfarm and involved going to a photo-shoot and taking the car. Of course like the last source mission there were guards and pretty close to the car and none of them were moving so I had to take them out which caused the enemy AI to come after me shortly after stealing the car. I used a trick where as long as I shot the helicopter gunner and kept the enemy helicopter & pilot alive, no enemy AI cars would spawn on the road, I had to do this trick twice because the 1st helicopter ended up crashing near the Noose building on the Highway and another quickly spawned in

 

Anyway the Feltzer was delivered again with $0 in damages, my heart was beating as I felt that was some extreme sh*t I just pulled. Now I'm just waiting for the cooldown to end on vehicle sales so I can get on with my next sale and profit some extra easy money while I still can.
