The weird thing about this dripfeed is - I don't think it could really help them in regards to cash cards.

 

Like, if all the aircraft had come out at once - there'd be a load I'd have bought full price, without getting the discounts. Since so many are locked away though, I haven't had much to do but do the source missions so I'll have them discounted when they're out.

 

All in all that will save me quite a few million actually.

I would say it's done more so in regards to keeping people coming back week after week instead of buying everything at once, messing about for a few days and then not logging on until the next update.

imo R* think about many aspects before deciding how to drip feed content, releasing all the goodies at once would probably discourage players who buy shark cards because they would spend their valuable money within minutes. The way it's done now they buy a card, buy a couple nice things, then need another card when the real worthy stuff drips.

R* also seems to recognize that releasing big updates right as kids go back to school means the young players won't have time to grind so they can afford the dripped content, so they drip methodically to drain our bank accounts with mediocre goodies then once players are poor, boom comes the Hunter! But now the kids have no bank and no time... what to do then? Mommy begging time!!! R* LOVES Mommy begging time!

 

Point is R* are using logic this time, ruthless business logic

I think gunrunning might've helped things along.

 

I just looked my info up and its not as bad as I thought it would be. I only have 4 for unsporting behavior, 1 for cheating and 5 for voice communications. There are some salty people out there lol.

Where did you get that software that allows you to see if you're getting reported please share if you can

I sold the Oppressor for a cool 2 million and bought several Expensive cars with the money after I realized how much of a game breaker this bike is. I hate that this thing is waaaay too damn good at going from point a to point b in a short amount of time. It basically makes your 25 other luxurious Super or Sports cars useless since the Oppressor outclasses them in every way possible. At least the Vigilante will be better since it can't fly so it doesn't make everything else useless.

 

Plus with the money I was able to buy alot of cheap Supers and Sports cars, like the Cheetah, Turismo R, Comet Retro, Stinger, and Windsor

Sometimes yes, most of the time I just get ripped off and the mugger is wasted. Not dead wasted but you know... wasted like I spent money for nothing

 

A very few occasions though, Lamar refunds me.... but that is very rare. It barely ever happens

I think they're going a bit far on the radar blips.

 

(Taken off some reddit thread that showed up in a search) :

 

 

How are you supposed to remember all those? And a lot of them are almost the same too. Also, why do people need to know if someone's in a Havoc or an Alpha Z1?

 

Not a big deal, just seems a little pointless on the new planes.

You're underestimating the sheer deadliness of those two. The Havok is clearly a much bigger threat than any jet could ever be. Don't even get me started on how wildly OP the Alpha-Z1 is...

 

I find it odd that some of those blips are so detailed (namely the Molotok, Pyro and Hunter) whilst some are very bland. The Rogue's blip could very easily be confused for a Nokota's blip if you aren't paying too much attention.

 

I appreciate having things like jet, Insurgent and APC blips, but now it's getting ridiculous. Back in 2013, it was so thrilling to come round a corner, only to find out that the normal white blip was a Rhino. I kind of miss that now.

Scared me a foot off the sofa more than a few times when I walked around a corner ready to rip someone with a MG and saw a tank barrel rubbing on my nose. Vehicle icons were one of the worst decisions ever. Following the roads in a buzzard acting like a car was one of the great skills you had to learn. In my dreams it will all be fixed in the "apology, we didn't know what the f*ck we were doing update"

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where recording and/or turning on action replay gives you the message that ''the recordings that are being made won't allow you to change the camera angles'' (the notification that usually pops up when recording in first person)? I noticed it popping up these last few days every time I've turned on action replay, even when I'm playing in third person. The recordings I saved did indeed not allow me to change the camera, even though the footage was shot entirely in third person. Anyone else here having the same problem? PS4 by the way.
