Well, some devs haven't been listening. Making money has never been easier and safer too. You can do lots in Invite Only sessions, netting you 200K per hour.

You almost make it sound like that's a good thing ;) how many hours do you have to play to be able to buy a Terrorbyte and Oppressor mk2 with that income?

My intention wasn't to be rude if it seems that way :)

Yesterday I went on a resupply run by my businesses, with a CAR!

Honestly, these last few weeks of zooming around on the Mk2 has made me appreciate all my cars all over again. My friend was baffled though; ”B..b..but the Mk2 is so much faster?” I was like ”I know that but I don’t give a sh*t.” Why hurry? I got millions upon millions of cash. I just want to enjoy driving around again. I hardly even grind anymore since the Nightclub, Bunker and 2 running MC businesses provide me with more than I can spend and I only sell once every other day or so.

And in a few weeks I’ll travel on horseback. Life is pretty good at the moment, gotta say.

Judging from what we all read in the B&M thread, it's less time than what can be achieved in public sessions. :)

The time spent making the GTA$ in invite only sessions isn't bad at all, especially if you're playing with good friends.

Plus loading in and out of jobs is far quicker too.

Key for speedy heisting, (elites too) and if a full Pac can be done in an hour, a friendly/richer team could bump a noobs bank very quickly.

(Plus CMM I could be as quick as 5 hours if the team is that keen and capable).

The nightclub just added so much to my natural game this way. These 2x are addictive too, lol.

Next-Gen Vercettis

Been wanting to share something for a while and after reading the last few posts now seems the right time.

I set myself a goal of reaching level 420 before RDR2 is released. It didn't take as long as I thought it would, so with around 16m in the bank and not much left to spend it on I decided to break out my 2nd character who has nothing except 2 empty warehouses and an office. On Tuesday I bought:

Nightclub

Terrorbyte

Oppressor2

MC clubhouse

Coke factory

Bunker

Hangar

Meth lab (bought today)

Then came the solo public grind. Made back approx 2m on Tuesday. Around 2.5m Weds/Thursday. Around 4m today (helped by a nice 490k from special item). That's the most I've ever made in a single day on GTA. Also the quickest I've ever made 490k (3.5mins - single truck sale). By my working out, I have around 5.5m left to make and I will have paid for everything listed above.

Thanks to Tony, Paige and Spotify for the 6 hour trance playlist. Without you guys none of this would have been possible.

*sniff*

Is there a way to arrange the hangar so to get aircraft in my interaction menu in any order I choose by switching them to storage and back?

Would be nice but no biggie if not.

A Terrorbyte is only 1.7mln and if you do 5 client jobs with it, the Op MkII is only 2.9mln. In a double money week like this, you can get your money back in 3 days of medium grinding. Without the double bonus, it would probably take you a week and still be able to maintain a normal life besides gaming.

of course, if you don't own a nightclub yet, it will take a bit longer, because the cheapest nightclub is around 1mln. But, it is still the easiest investment to earn back in an Invite Only gameplay style.

You don't even need the businesses to accrue goods to sell. They come in very handy, but with only a Nightclub, a Terrorbyte and Op MkII, you can earn back money real fast and start hoarding cash solo.

I only bought it for $250, 3 (maybe even 2) years ago... And... The disc drive doesn't work well. I personally think I came out on top

I suppose.. Makes me wonder how much I'd get for mine. It was the Destiny Bundle, minus Destiny(traded it right there for V pre-order; Destiny Fanboys got so mad too, so many dirty looks).

Good shape, always clean the outside once a month, clean the inside every 2-3. Also has a drive problem but due to dust jams, q-tips work well to clean the track.

I couldn't get the Pro though, don't have 4K TV. I have four controllers but only use one..my logic there is top notch.

You know how every now and then you can shoot a C4 mid-air & blow it up? An enemy NPC did that to me tonight during a sell mission ...

I've had cops do that to me. I avoid using stickies when driving mission vehicles, I learnt that lesson the hard way 😢

Only $1.7 mill doesn't sound so bad actually but imo it doesn't sound so good anymore when you have to play 8.5 hours with $200k/h to be able to afford it.

I'm trying to see it from the view a new player without having a single dollar in the bank account and you have to play a lot of hours to be able to buy anything.

With $200k and hour you have to play almost 30 hours to be able to buy a Nightclub, Terrorbyte and Oppressor mk2 and another 5-6 hours if you want to buy a Vagner. It still can be justified but how many hours to fill up a garage in the office with cars that cost $1 mill +?  Half rhetorical question ;)

I used to be in the same boat and maybe still am when you add things like CMM etc that it isn't that hard to get money in the game but I have enough money to buy what I want, when I want it but when I try and see it from the eyes of a new player without any money it seems kind of extreme. They of course have the advantage that everything is new and exciting and probably see it from a whole different perspective :)

In the end, the most important thing is to play and have fun without worrying about how much money you can make in an hour but imo that's much easier when you have enough of it ;)

Lastly I would say that I respect your view on it and I was/kind of still am in the same boat but as you but when I look of it from some different angles I've seen here on the forum, I kind of agree that it also seems a little crazy, if that makes any sense ;)

I tried trading Destiny about a year or so ago, to put towards Destiny 2... They (GameStop) offered me 3¢.

Literally. 3 mutha f*ckin' pennies.

Needless to say, I kept it just because. Then, bought D2... Played it for about a month, then sold it. LMAO! GTA is about the only thing that has been in my system for the entire length of my system.

Yep.

The Declasse Yosemite's & the Pfister Neon's are the only new commercials we got since the game came out.

From a new players point of view, you are totally right. As a new player, there is no good way to earn money quick without any decent rank and weapons. You'll have to rank up first and sell npc customised Sandkings and Sentinels, do some contact missions or races to earn cash and rank. True, it's a mountain to climb as a new player. Nothing earns lots at rank 1 to 50'ish. Everything has skyrocket high prices. We all had to start from nothing, although we may have had an easier course.

To be honest, I don't think I'd choose to start over again on another platform, for the grind to get somewhere alone.

For new players the only advise I have is to stalk Eclipse Blvd between 22:00 and 04:00 to steal blue Sentinel XS's and buy the route 68 garage. Steal a Sandking XL and spawn those at Larry's between 09:00 and 17:00, sell and store those till you have enough to buy a Tinsel Tower appartment and store blue Sentinels there. Should be relatively fast. Rank up with races, either solo or with others and things will get easier.

While typing this, I do realise it is actually a massive grind. But then again, having things too easy won't keep any Joe playing the game for long either. ;)

Agreeing with what you said that I removed from quote.

Also agreeing that if things comes to easy you can get bored if you don't have a "goal" to work towards but if things are to hard to get, people can also grow tired of the game instead of caving in and buy fish cards.

I started playing imo relatively late (3 years ago), did lots of heists and got enough money so I can just play and enjoy the game without worrying to much about money, so I only started thinking a little on how the grind is after some comments from some people here :)

Had I have to start all over again, I wouldn't buy any businesses. I'd go straight for the Nightclub to store a Terrorbyte and Op MkII, because it's a better repaying investment than an office and a Buzzard. But yeah, the idea alone makes me cringe 😣

No Use For A Name

So now when we have Last Location as our spawn point, our PV won’t spawn next to us after changing sessions. Jesus Christ, was it really necessary to remove that?

To be fair dude, it's more a grind in today's game than it ever felt while growing as the game did, if that makes sense, lol. (At least how it felt to me).

As we got new content so much, so many cars for example, that to a new player now looks like an awful lot to 'go and get quickly' but for us long term players, we had spells with each new addition and moved on to newer things, but the last is all set up and ready to fall back on I'd new stuff isn't any good.

For example, all businesses. Seems miles away at rank 1 to be linking all those to a nightclub, but for me (and many), we all already had our businesses, even if just the pick of the bunch, to get set on the nightclub, there just was no grind. Previous gaming did all that, lol.

Makes a lot of sense what you say first and totally agree. (agreeing with the rest also tho)

One thing that haven't been said is that new players also probably don't have the same view as we that have played a while have, to them the game should be exiting and so much to explore, so they might have gotten several things before they start thinking about prices and the "grind" to get them :)

as long as one enjoys and play the game the money will come...

same for me when nightclubs came out, had most of the businesses and just bought the rest of them without having to think two seconds about it ;)

starting from scratch today would be a pita but at the same time one could get a good boost from doing CMM, etc
