Well, I'm glad I waited with buying the Scramjet after unlocking it. Nicely timed discount.

 

IF ONLY THE SAME COULD BE SAID FOR THE VIGILANTE. Still nervous about purchasing it, I got a feeling in my virtual bones that it'll be discounted the week after I buy it.

If you're buying the Scramjet, then why even bother with the vigilante?

For heists I'm guessing. It's why I didn't buy the Scramjet yet.

If you have a Vigilante, why would you even bother with Scramjet? I can't be arsed to get this thing even with the discount because I need to play a stupid round of adversary mode. Maybe I'll arrange the match though, but still...

Lol it only takes a few minutes and it's actually decently fun tbh.

 

Regardless, the reason to get a Scramjet is because it can jump and has a longer boost. And it's the Mach 5, what's not to love?

 

Probably one of the most fun novelty vehicles in the game imo. I didn't regret my purchase.

The only thing I don't like about the Scramjet is that it's weaponized by default. Same with other recent vehicles like the Menacer.

 

I mean, R* got it right with the likes of the Viseris, Savestra and Comet Safari, being optionally weaponized was a nice compromise that actually gave you choice. Even the Deluxo is non weaponized by default.

Fair enough, I use mine exclusively for heists too, I hate how it drives.

Because the Scramjet it's actually useful for PvP and Time Trials, more than the Vigilante.

Quiet week in Los Santos this week,  no new cars imported and to showcase in meets and races.

 

Might as well spend a few days on the yacht...… get my assistant to cancel all meetings & jobs,  Tony can look after the club.

Smh... Got into a lobby with two teleporters, one of whom had God mode.

 

I take one of em' out with the MKII (watch him pause, then teleport towards the end):

 

 

The other God modding teleporter tried to orbital my friend who was in an Avenger and fell for it, wasting their money and shot. Such terrible and desperate players.

 

But don't worry, Rockstar will take a vacation before they fix this crap.

Well, I've got it and... Tell me frankly, am I missing something, do I need to practice to drive/ jump with it? Because I still can't figure what to do with it since I have Vigilante, which I was not a fan until I've got it and tried it. It handles better than Vigilante and that's basically it, but why would one bother with the handling on the Vig when you can ram everything out of your way? Rhetorical question. My opinion, if you have a Vigilante and you don't see a specific reason to buy it, skip it unless you're filthy rich.

I feel like you don't understand how to make it jump?

 

It can literally jump from flat ground straight up into the air, then you can angle it up, boost, and fly hundreds of feet into the air. You can get on top of buildings, take out jets, practically jump anywhere tbh. The Vigilante can't do that.

Well, probably I'm just a boring person, Mach, because I just figured out a name for this thing and the name is boring (random landing position generator). Will try to jump the Alamo sea though. This thing is the opposite of the Oppressor Mk2 which requires no skill and can get you anywhere on the map: it requires too much skill to be used consciously otherwise you will barely get anywhere.

It’s fun trying to get from one end of the map to the other without crashing into water. It’s tougher than it looks. I don’t think I’ve even killed anyone with the Scramjet, it’s now my go-to f*ckaround vehicle. So much fun

 I left my game on AFK in a contact mission yesterday at midnight, today I think I'm going for a 24 hours AFK just to see how much money can be made in my fully decked out nightclub.

Despite my initial reluctance, I bought the Terrorbyte without the missile battery or the weapon bench. The Paige Client Jobs are pretty okay; really fun missions to deviate from a grind with a decent payout. It will be better when they double the money and RP.

I personally like the mini heist approach of these Client Jobs, specially because since the nature of free mode, I can prepare for them and immerse myself on it:

 

-Park my CEO Buzzard on a rooftop with ladder access near Vangelico Fine Jewelry;

 

-Go to my Terrobyte and start the mission;

 

-Drive it to the Corona near the shop, then immediately drive the front of the alleyway where the ladder to the rooftop is and block the front of it;

 

-Get inside the Nerve Center and deploy the first drone, disable the alarm;

 

-Deploy a second drone to blow it up and kill the guard holding the jewelry case;

 

-Dress up in my combat gear and raid the shop, killing all guards with silenced weapons;

 

-Grab the case and make a run to the alley, front will be blocked by the Terrobyte so I just get in by the passenger seat, hop on the drivers seat and get out of it on the drivers door, now I'm in the alley and the cops can't follow me;

 

-Run to my Buzzard on the roof and get out of there quickly;

 

-Deliver the case, get paid;

 

I want to see more jobs like this one in the future where we can tackle it however we want and it involves interiors...Some stealth missions could also be welcomed.

RDR is having a multiplayer BETA in November 

So they won't technically have an Online full and running

They're calling it beta because they know it will have a similar launch like GTAOnline did back in October 2013 lol
