I've had Tales of Us as my DJ in my Nightclub for about maybe 5 minutes, already like what I hear being played on the turntable.

Also I think I found my new daily driver, that Stafford is a god send.

But certainly it'd be a pain on a I/E mission with a classic car.

 

I do miss being able to change my yacht spawn by entering a gamemode nearby and then quitting. I could guarantee the Del Perro Pier location whenever I wanted it.

Can anyone enlighten me, am I correct that we're paying 100k to do a mission to book a DJs and the only thing we  get is short time popularity boost? No more daily cash, nothing? Not to mention that it's stupid that we're stealing the Enus if I'm already driving one. What are these guys, only riding boosted cars? Not B&M, but seriously, what are we paying 100k for? Maybe it's music, but I've muted my in game music long time ago. Am I missing something?

how come everyone is so concerned now about paying 100k to book a dj? no one said anything when we had to do the same for solomun

There's really no point unless you want the rewards tied to them

I definitely like Tales of Us more than Solomon though, no awkward sexual moans. They might be my mainstay after I get all the rest of the rewards

Someone on the forums said before the DLC dropped that Tale Of Us was terrible. I disagree. I'm really liking their music in my club.

 

I also really like how awkward they sound due to having no voice acting experience. They really sound like they're just reading their lines in their introductory mission. It's not a bad thing, just kinda funny.

They're not terrible, they're just too chilly, while Solomun just set the heat on the dancefloor. A matter of taste, but they're not bad or awful in any terms

The design of the Patriot has been updated. The rear lights have changed, along with some other minor things.

 

I guess they decided to do this while adding the new modifications.

No acting experience, plus the language barrier.  That's why The Black Madonna gets the most to say (and some actual gags) during her mission - although I did like the whole "just push some buttons - that's your job!" exchange between English Dave and Solomun, and poor Solly ending flat on his ass... He's a good sport, at least!

In tbogt Luis talks about not being able to leave LC because his family and home are there so it makes sense that Luis stayed in LC while Tony went looking for new business assiocates in LS

Terrorbyte is a leftover from the old business consolidation DLC so that's why it feels so out of place with a nightclub DLC

and in my opinion it makes much more sense to have someone like Paige manage a high-tech military stuff

Luis wouldn't make any sense here at all, he has no experience in managing stuff like this and like stated before it would be a bit against his character to leave LC for LS

Yusuf could work here though. "this is some real military sh*t!!! we even have a workshop for customizing flying bikes, real future sh*t!!

Spent the evening alternating between promotion missions and small NC sales to get trade prices unlocked, they don't amount to all that much but something inside me just can't be brought to pay full price when the discount is so easy to get. Booked Tale of Us and bought a blimp too. Bit of a goofy session overall but still pretty productive

 

The best part was coming out of one of the sales and trying to call in my Thruster only to be told somebody is using it (I had left it sitting outside my club) so I opened the map to see some rando is using it to contest a Business Battle (duffelbags at Kortz Center.) Them in my Thruster, a jet buzzing around and two other people on foot. So, since I was way up in Paleto and probably wouldn't make it there in time to do much, I drove over to my house and spectated the fight on the TV. They got a good number of kills and even managed to shoot the Lazer down, somehow, with the Thruster's bargain basement guidance system. Turned out the guy in the jet was level 11. Before too long rando ran out of ammo and Thrusty was smoking but they managed to get one of the bags and make it over to their club in Del Perro not too far away. One of the other guys got the second bag. I sent them some txts saying I saw the whole thing, gg, that was my Thruster etc. and they said they were probably gonna buy one now. The secret of the Thruster's PvP potential is slowly spreading...

So, about the broken Akula, when will it be fixed, you think? Tried stealth the other day and that seemed to work fine but I forgot to try and see if the bombs worked. I have to be able to stealth-bomb tryhards, had to do it in the Hunter yesterday but that was only really effective while in Ghost Org. Just keep blowing themselves up or jumping to their facility/apartment as soon as they see a heli approaching.

 

Edit: I just realized the bug doesn’t affect the bombs, but the homing missiles lol. *facepalm*

But eitherway it needs fixing, as I won’t even bother bringing out a heli that doesn’t have lock-on missiles. Would be like using rollerblades in a F1 race, a huge disadvantage put simply.

 

Maybe I should just change the MG back to having a single one as it’s never being used anyway.. oh the troubles lol
