Decided to fire up GTA IV and wanted to see if there were any people in free mode.

 

There were! Went on a nice cruise with 3 other players that inevitably ended up at the swingset. No-one fired at a shot at any other player and we just went around partaking in 2009-style shenanigans.

 

If only the GTAO playerbase wasn't so adamant on killing on sight most of the time, then it'd be ten times better. Then again, with the crazy arsenal we have, GTA IV free mode probably isn't the best comparison.

 

Brings back great memories, just messing about in LC.

Did you do it on a last gen console?

 

After hearing it was backwards compatible I thought I would look in on it. Since also hearing a small community of disaffected V players had moved back there too. I was baffled to be told I needed a 7 gig update, I wrote it off at that point. I'm sick of these huge updates I keep having forced on me, my disk space is rapidly diminishing. Can you imagine the gigantic pain in the arse of having to uninstall and delete something as big as V just so you had space for a new game? I miss the days when game files on the drive only consisted of tens of, up to maybe a couple hundred of mb & system updates were usually under 10mb.

 

Anyway back to the subject. I was told you couldn't play it from disk, you had to download the whole damn game to play on current gen.

I got into bad sport for the first time in my GTA Career A whole new world of tryhards awaits me, and I get a cool hat as a bonus too. I'll post pictures later. Shame (or maybe fortunately?) it's just for 2 days

 

 

I've found a creative way to troll people in bad sport Camp at popular pegasus spawn points and steal/destroy any hydras that spawn in

Is GTAF going to host another Ms./Mr. Los Santos competition this year? The ones that were held last year were a lot of fun and from what I remember it was around this time they were being hosted.

Did you ever play the GR Ruiner 2000 Resupply Mission damn it`s fun. I was driving and killing in this thing for 5 minutes like this only recorded the end sadly. Damn i could do this for hours.

Sorry guys, I fear that Mister LS will be a no-show (unless someone else takes the reigns which I fully support). I've done the first comp justice and feel I could never match it ever again, as narcissistic as that sounds. I've also been struggling with personal issues which is why I'm not as active as I used to be. Makes me smile to know that people remember it, though.

 

Good luck to anyone wanting to host either Miss or Mister LS. It's quite a stressful thing to do and a huge burden lifted off your shoulders once a winner is announced. The GTA:O equivalent of Fear Factor.

Oh yeah - it's basically like GTA's bad sport system, but for all games. You're lucky it's not on PS4 lol.

 

I've only played once since noticing I'm in it, and luckily it was surprisingly populated. I was expecting it to be empty. But like I said, I've only played once, so can't really tell for sure based on that.

 

The people in there were quite fun to torture actually.

AFAIK there's no stock percentage limit for when the warehouse can get raided. At least they don't run on that 'raid after X amount of hours' BS. Just avoid being a CEO in free roam unless you're doing things like VIP work, I/E or gunrunning and you should be fine.

 

 

I've stopped shooting to kill with the explosive rounds now. I'll only put one round into a jet and that usually makes the pilot piss off. If the pilot keeps getting in jets and killing, however, I'll put the two shots in to blow them up.

I have a huge question having to do with whatever storyline GTA IV Multiplayer had as it connects to a thread I made but it still eludes me.

In GTA IV Multiplayer, there were modes called Mafiya Work and Team Mafiya Work, Car Jack and Team Car Jack where the Customizable Character you play as is working for Kenny Petrovic, leader of the Petrovic Russian Mob, doing jobs for him and stealing cars constantly. You played as your own personalized Character.

However, there were also 3 Co-Op Missions where you once again work for Kenny Petrovic in all 3 - They are Deal Breaker, Hangman's NOOSE, and Bomb Da Base II. In these missions though, you do not get to play as your Personalized Customized Character, but rather you were forced to play as a randomized Russian Mobster with a Russian voice to boot. Is this because Rockstar wasn't able to implement our Customized Character into a cutscene at the time or did they intentionally make us play as a Russian Mobster with no name? Would this "generic" Russian Mobster be considered a different Protagonist altogether, consider these missions do have a plot with a Character that you play as that Kenny Petrovic seems to personally know well, taking him out for drinks after Hangman's NOOSE and such?

 

Also, in the Multiplayer of The Lost and Damned, could you play as your Customizable Character in the mode Club Business where you work for Angus or did it set you as a randomized Lost MC Biker? What about he Lone Wolf mode? Were you made a randomized generic Biker or did it let you play as your own Customized Character?

Well i guess i just make them full then if it doesn`t matter. If i get raided im just gonna defend it and buy back the lost crates. Yeah well the difference is big 3 large ones for 6,660 million and with +25% it`s 8,325 million it`s worth to wait the crates for 3 large ones cost 1,998 million. We always got the bonus before every big dlc update. I guess im gonna sell that stuff end of september or in october. And then im gonna fill them up again to get the bonus again. If i sell it with the bonus it`s like the crates don`t cost anything. Well less not nothing comparing the profits with +25% it`s 6,327 million and without 4,662 million. Then the crates only cost 333k and you get all the money compared 6,660 million regular and the profit with +25% 6,327 million. That`s why i only sell with the bonus.

Haven't done a heist with randoms in like forever but I won't mind, the one I don't like is being pilot in Human Labs, it only gets exciting when the ground team gets out.

my bad I actually thought you were talking about the first setup, I've done Prison Break about 4 times last week with friends (I stopped doing them with randoms because there's always something that goes wrong) and I was pilot, it got boring, I see where you're coming from.

I keep telling myself I have given up on heist but for some reason or another I always get pulled back into them. Its like being a recovering crack addict but all my friends still smoke crack so I just keep getting pulled back in ffs. I agreed to help a friend with the pac standard heist the other day but of course her other friend refused to get into the car with us at the end of the heist because they said we had to go the route R wants us to go or we wouldn't lose the cops lol. We get to the boat of course since I took the highway up and here are still waiting for her friend who then dies of course.

 

Next time I get a heist invite I am just going knock myself out with my controller.
