Remove Hostile Takeover.

I got a four star wanted level for nothing because of this. Why does Rockstar even allow this to happen for no reason? I wasn't part of the organization that started the mission?

Probably got too close to them while they were running it. Meh. It happens. The whole lobby is instructed to steal the briefcase as soon as they start it anyway.

 

Just call Lester to wipe away that wanted level you incidentally had placed on you.

You can set your ignore options to prevent you from partaking in VIP/CEO work, preventing this from happening.

If it bothers you that much, as I know it would me, there's no shame in going passive or disabling rival work from appearing, both of which should take you out of the event.

I know what are you talking about and it's annoying, but removing it is not a solution, it needs a "fix", just like many other things in the game.

Removing stuff is Rockstars favorite way of fixing stuff, though.

Are you serious? Hostile Takeover is one of the best CEO/VIP work out there.

It's $16K for less than 2 minutes. It's not that great for solo players, but it's good to reward you associates.

 

And I believe you only get the 4 star wanted level if you are close to the organization (or in certain conditions). I've seen rivials completing HT several times and I didn't get the stars.

Know your map, read it, and avoid others if you don't want the consequences of involvement... Beside, what's 4 stars this far in.., Call Lester, or head for a tunnel for a minute, lol...

So you want HT removed because of the 4 star wanted level, which you find annoying. I think I have an image for this..

 

 

Maybe try staying out of the area.. Or not intercepting the briefcase.
