Getting associates to do things for you

Okay fellow humans, I have a question on morality for you.

Ever since the CEO/VIP stuff became a part of Online, I have wanted there to be a chauffer service. You can order a cab, so implementing a chauffeur service in the game shouldn't be that difficult. I have also desperately wanted there to be a private jet service to fly me across the map in absolute luxury. I am a CEO after all. Rockstar has yet to fulfil my desires, so I have taken it upon myself to see that my dreams are realized.

I bought the Nimbus private jet a while back, which I love. As such, I have requested that my associates pick me up from my apartment in the organization limousine and drive me to the airport. They are then to fly me to the McKenzie Airfield where another limousine will be waiting. They are to drive me to my SuperVolito Carbon helicopter waiting on the shores beneath Mount Gordo and transport me to my yacht, where we will do Piracy Prevention and horse around with prostitutes afterwards. They are then to transport me in between Los Santos and Paleto Bay for business.

I pay them $3000-5000 each per round trip, depending on how much money was paid out for the previous CEO work. This means that they receive $35,000 for Piracy Prevention, $29,000 for Executive Search, and in between $18,000 and $28,000 for the rest.

Am I a slavedriver? Am I extremely entitled? Am I a high maintenance prima donna? Or am I the Big Cheese, the Grand Poobah if you will, who can request my associates wait on me hand and foot, especially since they are being remunerated handsomely?

Help me GTA Forums. I'm having a real crisis of conscience, but I also really enjoy the silver service.

Warmest regards.

I think you're looking more for roleplayers than regular grunts, but this doesn't seem as far out of line as some of the other sh*t I've seen on here.

That is called roleplay.. you should find people that likes to do that.. and also a mistake: executive search pays 25k not 29.

Haha, would truly enjoying something like that, being your pilot and stuff.

Where do we send the resume?

Most people go for pure grind, fewer and fewer people enjoy all the fun things to do in the game... Some role play oriented players are here and there, but pretty uncommon.

Came across a Donald Trump doing speeches and selfies, met Duke Nukem, as well as one who presented himself as The Creator (a weird mix between a God and rockstar's ceo)

You on PC ?

Best way is to recruit three associates and keep launching missions at your office. Then just relax while your associates do the jobs, lol.

What system do you play on? I enjoy role-playing as a chauffeur on my second character...

Read my post again. I pay between $3000 and $5000 on top of the regular money from CEO work.

Piracy Prevention - 30000 + 5000 = 35000

Executive Search - 25000 + 4000 = 29000

The others - 15550 - 24500 + 3000 = 18550 - 27500

I'm intrigued. To what extent have others crossed the line of morality?

It depends on what your idea of morality is. I mostly mean things that I've found odd, but trying to keep people as pets, going as far as doxxing others and trying to call them out for not playing your way, and a few fads ring to mind. Stick around, you'll have your own stories to tell about this sub.

What console are you on? I'm a great pilot that can fly planes when I'm paid well

Some roleplaying here.
I would participate, but judging by country flag below your nick, we're gonna have a real issues with connection.

If I could fly other players around the map in a luxury jet all day, I would. Especially for such a fee. In public lobbies it would require quite the military backup to survive the trip, though.

Yeah RP is great, preserves what is fun to the game. If all you do is stricltly bound to the mission game mechanic it can get grindy and repetitive really quick.

I would play the role only to then betray my fellow associates and ceo! While flying a plane... I'd purposely crash into the ocean.

I did something like that once the CEO wanted to ambush a low level by camping at his vehicle warehouse door, I waited until all their backs were turned and ready to shot the guy, quit the organization, blasted them all with a well placed RPG, and let the low level retake their sourced car while I was in passive.

They were LIVID, and I was pissing from all the laughter XD

The low level I helped is still in my friends list to this day.

Op I'm pretty sure you're autistic

I'm pretty sure that overused word is propagated by mouthbreathing tryhards unable to formulate an original thought, let alone an insult, inside their pea-sized brains.

Move along bud.

Have you even considered that for low level, relatively unskilled players, the money they can make as an associate is more than they can make doing literally anything else in this game?

Also a touch of aspergers I see

To be honest no sane person would go about their game doing the absurd things you mentioned unless they were autistic. I'm not saying you go around blowing up crates and getting into 1v1 but this here is kind of disturbing.

Getting them to ignore the GPS and follow me, plus keep me alive, seems to be beyond 99% of the cretins I've hired in the past, so good luck.

There is a certain hierarchy and set of standing orders that "bodyguard" implies but yeah you're more into role-playing than hiring randoms tbh. You can lead a horse to your nimbus but you can't make him fly.

RP is great, but money is terrible. AFK and a rubber band in the double $ event of the week would be a far superior money maker. Anybody who will work for 50,000$ an hour associate wage less the cost of ammo isn't even worth that.

As a CEO you technically shouldn't be doing the bulk of the work and if people are happy to help out, why not?

At least your guys won't be bored and you can concentrate on planning your strategy and briefing them during the journeys/deliveries/whatever. Plus they should be close by and protecting the CEO anyway, it's in their interests to because they get pay cuts if you end up being shot to bits by rivals. Rewarding your associates with Sightseer and other VIP payouts is good form too, helps give people incentives to stick around. I would say all of this is probably best played with friends though as randoms tend to be fickle and unpredictable and can turn on you in an instant, which isn't as fun as it might initially sound.

I approve anyway... I like having slaves associates to cater to my whims. Except maybe that one guy who offered to clean my boots with his tongue. Flattering, but unnecessary.

That's a different kind of roleplay, my man

It's bizarre, OP.

Any under-age kid who gets the nod of approval from their parents can hit the shark-card purchase button and buy themselves into CEO wonderland, it's that easy.

It's a little bit deluded, but you know that right? Like the guy who goes on X-Factor after being convinced by his other half he's got something 'special'.

Whatever does it for you, I guess. Perhaps you should start a 'day in the life' of a CEO thread, in which you talk about the strains and stresses of running a successful business in the war-zone known as Los Santos? It's a bit weird and borderline trollish, but there are stranger things out there like becoming a pacifist without violence. Some of it can be quite funny.

I personally see nothing wrong with this if you're into role playing, after all, you don't really see CEOs going out there and doing all their grunt work alone, do you?

But sadly, even being that much generous with payouts like you are to them, it's still not interesting enough for them, with that little money they make its barely enough to cover up ammo costs.

Hell, if R* could let us decide on how our associates get paid, I would gladly partake in this too because I'm very lazy.

I hope people realize that most of my original post was meant to be a light-hearted question of my occasional tendency to respond to work emails while my lackeys transport me all over the map. The luxury jet thing is just a fun aspect of the CEO experience and one which I feel adds a greater dimension to the game.

I'm not some basement dweller wanting to feel like a big shot in a game because I can't make it in the real world. I'm a 29 year old professional with a postgraduate business degree from a top shelf university. But what's the harm in adding a greater dimension to the gameplay? I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a bit of fun whilst making in-game money as opposed to the tired and stale grind to the top. It's slightly less efficient time wise, but it's more fun. Not just for me, but for my associates too. They wouldn't do it if they hated it.
