Ik you're retired and stuff but about this can you code the mod so when you enter a different car the station changes instead of staying tuned to the same station? If you can't do it, can someone else make this happen?

Is there a way to only change the music, letting the chats, annoucements et cetera, just like we can do in PlayStation 2?

By the way, I extracted some announcements from all the radios (Los Santos, Radio X and so on), and put it in my music folders.

Man, it crashes/ makes inaudible if you use a HDMi cable (I play by my TV). By my notebook is fine, but then, when I have to quit the game and begin again through my television, nothing.

 

Can anyone help here?

- Major changes to channel and track register/setup
    > Channels now located in "atp" instead of "audio\streams_atp"
    > Channels now identified by numbers - ID registers no longer required
    > Channel properties now stored in each folder's "info.ini"
    > It is no longer required to rename track files in certain format (except atmospheric and track variant)
    > Optional track categories (Sidetracks, Idents, etc.) requires its own sub-folder

- ATP now scans track files from individual channels
    > Also reloads "atp.txd" and every channel's "info.ini"
    > Track scan results stored in "trac.dat" - which contains filenames and titles, sorted numerically
    > Atmospheric and Track variants don't require scan as they still need to be renamed in certain format
    > Channels will automatically scanned during loading a save if "trac.dat" not exists
    > Channels can be rescanned mid-play by holding F7 (default)

- Changes to mod settings (setting.ini)
    > Entries given proper spacing
    > Removed "TrackNameToogle" setting
    > Interface settings moved to "display.ini"

- Changes to channel properties (info.ini)
    > As mentioned above, now contained in each channel's folder
    > Will be generated if not exist
    > Entries given proper spacing
    > Removed "Tracks","SideTracks","Idents" entry

- Added "Global Volume" entry to mod settings, adjusts track volume on top of in-game radio volume
- Added "Volume" entry to channel properties, adjusts track volume in each channel on top of in-game and global mod volume
- Added "Track scan protection" entry to channel properties, to prevent "trac.dat" from being overwritten
- Added "Play area Radius" entry to channel properties, which limits channel in a radius instead of predetermined zones
    > Included "Play area X" and "Play area Y" entries to determine center coordinates
    > Removed "AreaLimit" entry

- Added "Logo TXD ID" entry to channel properties, which is now required identifier for logo textures in "atp.txd"
    > By default its value is "NONE" - which is a placeholder logo
    > Mismatched entry value and actual texture name still result in white logo

- Added static noise when changing channel.
    > Always uses "static.atp"
- Changes to debug screen
    > Removed GXT instances as its no longer used
    > Added Track Scan Protection and Channel volume to Channel Info screen
    > Added Track Type to Channel Track Info screen
    > Added Player's X and Y position, current daytime and weather ID to Track Player Status screen
    > Minor reformat

- Atmospheric tracks now plays on chance instead of only plays once every weather/time change
- Fixed issue with Car Radio auto-tune not picking random channels when entering stolen car
- Several minor changes to texts and FXT
- No longer fully compatible with modloader - "atp" folder MUST stay in root folder

 

 

It's been a while since my retirement. This sudden update heavily focused on making adding tracks and channel managing a lot easier.

No more constant editing a lot of entries in some pesky text files and no more renaming files.

 

You just want to add songs and be done with it? Just drag files and drop them in a channel folder - like User Tracks. Although don't forget to scan them in-game, because ATP doesn't have reliable automatic scanning.

Everything about channel is now contained in single folder - channel settings, track files, track titles. So removing/replacing/adding downloaded channel is as simple as dragging contents of folder.

 

Unfortunately this update breaks all old channels and they need to be updated as well to work in this version.

 

Also about modloader - This version is no longer compatible with modloader installation because the script can't scan files from there. Specifically opcode 0AE6 and 0AE7 which is responsible for finding files and get their filename, will always based in root folder instead of relative path provided by modloader.

 

Lastly, i finally made an installation guide video despite everythings already been a lot easier - but hey no vid no click

Holy sh*t, there is a lot.

We are starting creating radios for GTA Brasil and definitely this mod is very powerful.

Unfortunately, we no longer think of putting real locution, at least for a while.

I need to ask, why is the music in bars not on? the music in casinos, and clubs, and other places is on still, but not in bars, and i think it doesn't have nothing to do with the radio, so why is that? is it on purpose?

If it is, can you make it toggeable? iliked listening to radio X while playing pool man, come on now...

Not only bars, CJ's wardrobe and clothes shop also affected. It's because BGM music in these places use radio files and affected by "Radio" volume setting. Which is muted when ATP disables the default radio.

 

Casino and clubs, however use their own separate audio files and affected by "SFX" volume instead of "Radio". Which is why ATP doesn't affect it.

It is on purpose. I'm sorry little one.

 

Car radio and Interior radio uses same process for their volume - so i can't separate them to only mute the first one without more ASM knowledge. Things like this is why i'm keeping the option to not/partially disable default radio.

man,im so bummed out about this

i tried installing it but it just crashes after the loading screen

it boots me in a couple of seconds (black screen) then it just crashes

help me please

after tinkling around with it a little,i found out that its from the atp folder,i dont know what makes it crash from that but someone please help

Mine crashes too, not sure why tho. Probably it has something to do with scanning.

Hello friend, I loved your ATP. I am currently using it in a total conversion project that I am currently developing in SCM, this will feature new history, characters, weapons, vehicles, new radio stations, sounds and voices. And I have a problem, you help me so that when playing a conversation in a vehicle, the volume of the radio stations decreases a little so that it can be heard well? I would greatly admire your help and of course you and Advanced Track Player are in the credits of the storyline. I await your response, friend.

What exactly do I need to do with Images I want to use as radio icons?

 

I already have my Icon on GIMP, I export it as a PNG and I resize it and compress it with Magic TXD so it matches the properties of the Radio OFF icon as well, alls the same, compression DXT3, 256x256, 1 line, I set the icon txd ID on the radio station's .ini as the same name the texture have in the atp.txd , and the icon still shows up as a blank square.

 

EDIT : Uhhh, I did absolutely nothing and left it like that, came back today and its just working wth? Maybe it was incompatible with another cleo? I think I removed a few to test something earlier, not sure tbh, but its working now out of the blue... awesome(?)

My game kept crashing at an LV Race circuit called "SF to LV" always specifically before reaching a checkpoint near the countryside going towards the construction site in LV where you do the explosives mission for WuZiMu.

I was able to finish the race without a crash after removing atp files from CLEO folder, Incompatibility perhaps?

So I have tried to install the mod but despite following the video the OP made on how to install and add music, it crashes the games when loading a save unless you have 0 songs for it to scan. I don't know what might be the cause of it, I have tried many songs, other songs that follow the format supported, change mp3 to atp, reinstall it, reinstall CLEO, remove SilentPatch, using the songs that comes with the mod with no luck. Only removing it lets the game continue but I really want to use this. I did downgrade this from the RGL version to 1.0 as I don't want to pirate a No-CD or such but not sure thats the issue as regular mods work on the downgraded RGL version.

Apparently this has to do with syncing the tracks as a trac.dat file which in turn crashes the game. I am using a MP3 and tried deleting the metadata of the song and one with metadata to no avail too. I added a song and did the F7 sync and while scanning it hit a error and crashed. Not sure if this also has to do with the install of GTA SA being on a external drive than the main C:\ drive

Is it perhaps incompatible with other's mod?

I'm using staples plugin such as cleo4.3 (ofc), modloader, silentpatch, framerate vigilante, open limit adjuster, etc

Your new version isn't working because you are trying to load the sprite without loading the .txd file first.

This is not an installation error, the mod is really crashing.

btw you can add the radio from GTA Brasil mod to the first page, 226 songs (not only Brazilian), with our own logos etc.
