So, it sounds like a Part 2 to Gunrunning could be on the cards, though it may be in spirit rather than name:

 

What was said about Gunrunning Part II is true, but it's only happening if Gunrunning Part I is considered to be a success in Rockstar's eyes.

 

Also, the update will not necessarily be called "Gunrunning: Part II" - It can be anything, like for Cunning Stunts & Cunning Stunts: Special Vehicle Circuit. It will be released in September at the earliest or October at the latest.

 

It may or may not include the Hunter. (Yeah, actually I have no idea, I'm just throwing this here for the lulz)

But it also sounds like they want to see what people liked, what they disliked, and so on.

 

I'm thinking (and it's probably wishful thinking) that if we have a decent-sized poll, and all vote on what we want, Rockstar might just get wind of it and make the DLC have what we want. Everyone wins. Hopefully.

i expected a more home looking bunker. tiny parking, tiny restroom. shooting range in a bunker really? shooting range challenges are fun but in a cave it looks just silly. bunkers are survival places. every place is wisely used. the enormous moc inside that tiny parking just looks silly. i mean if you look carefully it's just impossible to go out with the tractor without scratching yourself to every single wall. i would have liked a hatch entering cinematic when you are on foot too. instead of opening the door each time

More armour or flares for aircraft,actual military clothing and not letting people abuse the MC menu that allows them to call for their oppressor every 5 seconds.

Dune FAV

They are all powerful, but also easy counterable, making them balanced.

 

Dislike:

Explosive ammo. This is way to powerful, everybody who defends it doesn´t uses it with it´s full potential. We shouldn´t be able to carry a hitscan rocketlauncher.

Oppressor rockets. The bike itself is absolutly ok, give it a insurgent-gun which makes it a 2 shot kill.

 

I am pretty sure you know what i voted for. ;)

I'd love for

 

-The tank be rebuffed to its former glory

 

-More movie based weaponized vehicles such as the Green Hornet, G6155 or a weaponized JB700

 

-Something JDM or Muscle car related. Like Mach1bud's favorite the dominator classic or a classic nsx, or mk4 Supra

 

-The Railgun added

When the info and trailer for Gunrunning dropped I was really hoping for new air vehicles and/or Pegasus customization. (in the gunrunning missions in SP I remember dropping bombs from an aicraft...). But most of all I had my fingers crossed for a serious rebalancing, a swing and a miss right there. For the most part after playinging the new stuff I really feel like it's lacking in the content department, the new "contact" missions are cool but other than grinding money or keeping others from grinding money, freeroam feels really stale, sure I got loads of cool cars/bikes and military grade hardware but there really isn't any point to it. I'm left kinda blank coming with suggestions for more stuff to do, maybe expand upon the freemode events or something. Oh, and the research, mobile-gaming paywall inspired, BS is something that has absolutely no place in this game!

Obviously everyone knows what I voted for, but one thing I also wanted to touch on:

 

I was going to put an option for more original work; something not based on the cargo model. But the chances of that happening are so low that it just didn't seem worth it. Kind of like having an option for there to be no adversary modes - some things just aren't gonna go.

Would've loved to see some older vehicles to go along with the halftrack. The Rustler, the Sea Sparrow, a militarised Nevada perhaps. Also the obvious options like the Dominator Classic and the Hunter, of course.

 

 

 

 

 

I also wouldn't mind having that super-Rhino you mentioned. Maybe based on the HT-95 Levkov tank from Battlefield 4.

 

Sure, it was a sci-fi prototype, since BF4 is set in the near future, but it was still ridiculously fun to use. Probably more realistic than jet bikes.

First and foremost... the Hunter obviously :D

 

The clothing options were extremely lacking so I definitely want more variety in the next iteration if there is one. And yes.... new guns. Please Rockstar.

 

If the MK II upgrades were anything to go by, they could really do us a solid with bringing in new weapons to match the theme of smuggling weapons.

For starters, I would scrap the Oppressor's machine guns/missiles, erased the Armored Tampa from existence, and remove the explosive rifle from the mix as all people really need is a Full Metal Jacket magazine to fairly take down jets.

 

I would've increased the Buzzard's speed and agility by a bit so it can be more nimble like it's real-life inspiration, turned the Savage into an airborne Insurgent and given it bullet-resistant glass, increased the range on the Valkyrie's explosive cannon, reverted the Rhino back to surviving 10 explosives, and the APC would be able to have its guns used solo while driving in exchange for removing the "anti-air" missiles. Everything else is fine as is.

 

When it comes to weapons, I would restrict the research for them into the ammo types and raise their carrying capacity to 1K bullets, replace the MKIIs with actual new guns with at least one to each class, and you only have to buy them in your bunker and don't really need a MOC.

 

In fact, I might scrap the MOC all together and let people have a garage just like Special Vehicle warehouse to put their Gunrunning vehicles in, and give them the ability to store and customize a handful of semi trucks with grilles and interior and liveries and whatnot. Oh, and you better believe that the Hunter will be added as well as a handful of aircrafts that are returning from San Andreas, and you would actually be able to own a Skylift that acts as a superior Cargobob but doesn't carry any passengers.

Still hoping for a railgun upgrade for tanks. Also the ability to do ALL the bunker / ceo / mc jobs in IO or closed lobbies would have been nice, but that's already been discussed a hundred times before on numerous threads.

A small unarmed version of the Hydra that you can spawn next to you when you're a CEO. Buying something like that should cost a lot of money but it will be worth it.

Voted for the Hunter and new guns, of course. Would like to see more aircrafts too. My dream :inlove: would be to finally get the Hunter and fully Pegasus vehicle customization in my own hangar, tbh. I want my pink/chrome Buzzard ;), mateblack Savage and mossgreen Valkyrie.

 

For the second last option, I can see R* will add something like this:

Slightly more gun customization would be fine, too. I want all MKII benefits but hold my Yusuf Amir weapon tint, too.

The two main things that would have improved the update for me, that aren't covered by the poll, would be the research being scrapped all together. Nothing but a cash grab/time sink.

 

Either space for the new weaponized vehicles in the bunker or another property slot would have been welcome.

Yeah - the only operation I've launched from it is "Operation: Give me my explosive bullets" ... Would've been better as somewhere to launch the work you said, or at least check on how businesses are doing, etc.

 

And any time.

All of those could work well I think. Though I would also add in a more powerful unguided rocket launcher. That way something more difficult to use (like that) would reward players, while things that shouldn't be as effective anyway (homing launcher against tank; explosive sniper against Savage) wouldn't be so devastating thanks to the buffs.

I like the Cold-War Raven Rock styled bunkers enough, but i'd like to have some old WWII Era bunkers, About 30mx70m with an exterior like this half built into the hills
