Searching for a korean PlayStation 2!

Hey I want to buy a korean PS2 but I've found NOTHING on the whole internet except for someone who offered one for 200$ back in 2006... I'm f*ing desperate!

 

So if someone in here is korean and has a PS2 to sell (and is willing to ship to Canada), please contact me via private message. I can pay in korean won if necessary.

The forum is not the best place to ask, it isn't a bazar you know. Your best chance is to write an ad on a korean website that you're looking for a PS2.

I'm curious as well why you're specifically looking for a korean console.

 

Edit: My guess is you're looking to play a specific game that is region locked in canada?

It's for collecting purposes. Actually korean PS2 are exactly like japanese PS2 except for the serial code and a few other things. And I can't post ads on korean websites because their websites are made very differently from us. You usually need a korean social security number and an iPin to create an account on most korean websites but I can't since I'm not korean :'(

Nice! I would very appreciate it! And also if he finds the game "Gran Turismo Concept Tokyo-Seoul 2002" (which only came out in south korea) that would be awesome too!

No, and I imagine finding that exact model will be very difficult due to I'd only assume was limited sales and no interest in keeping them around within that country. Best of luck though.

 

Are you collecting all versions of the PS2? There's a sh*t ton, I have an excel file that has the models listed but not by color...which would be another headache. The 39001 model is the one I keep copies of due to the better eye laser / disc speed and the fact they read blue and black bottom CD's.
