Shark Cards destroyed dreams of SP DLC and shape or form of single player content in future Rockstar games will be greatly affected by what happened since 2013. Be prepared for it. Rockstar left their roots behind when they jumped on the online saga.Not hating on online, but let's be honest. How are you going to have lowrider content in online play only, that should have been in the original story? I have been playing GTA sense the beginning, but to be honest, I have not touched gta 5 in months. I really enjoyed it for the huge map,environment and atmosphere. Online saga really messed it up for us old-school fans. If this game had some true roll play gameplay, I would be down for some online play. There was never a clear-cut reason as to why either, it just happened... Sometimes I feel like they did so we were forced to buy the cars Online to find out how they perform when fully upgraded instead of testing/upgrading them in SP to see if we like it or not, saving us millions in the process. If that's the case, it was both a financially clever and a major dick move on their part in the sense that it could have potentially increased Shark Card sales, all in the while screwing over people who still messed around in SP. Probably a far-fetched theory but it unfortunately makes sense given R*'s track record with the game the past few years. Not far fetched at all as that's EXACTLY why they stopped adding the cars and weapons in. Plus they also INTENTIONALLY blocked being able to glitch them and the weapons in to story mode since lowriders custom classics and STILL patch ways to get cars released before that in single player for example the Trevors garage trick or the creator trick which both got patched. SmokesWithCigs Posted July 11, 2017 Share Posted July 11, 2017 rockstar gave singleplayer cars and weapons up until the online update adding the tech 9. dlc isn't my concern i'm hopping rockstar fixed the game somewhat to where it is working better. i hope the bugs that made the taxi buisness missions ,briefcases , and random events were fixed. these bugs are game breaking i'm hoping the weed farm respawns but thats asking too much. is it posible to form a petition to get rockstar to fix single player? It grinds my gears that they still have the flare gun on the SP weapons page on the social club. However it's locked and there's no way to unlock it or obtain one. Sadly so.Even then, it's a one off purchase when in online you can sell, lose everything and purchase them over and over again which have a higher chance of buying shark cards to keep purchasing something such as a 60 car garage filled with chrome X80's as an example.
