Get off the bike and change it?

You can't change it while riding, far as I'm aware.

R* logic.

Rockstar doesn't allow an open helmet visor on bikes in fear that you might leave it open and go blind from the insects flying into your eyes.

Helmets are very glitched after Cunning Stunts update (belive me). Sometimes after you wear it for some amount of time, ability to open/close the visor just wont work. To fix it just take off the helmet and put it on again. Or if you have a outfit with a helmet, just apply your outfit once again.
I interact with my visor only when a certain type of screenshots (just like one on my avatar). This solution always works for me.

It's annoying, because it was one of the cool features when Bikers was released, now they have taken it away again. I notice that you don't ride casually one handed anymore also.

Still happens for me on xb1

I know if you're in a MC club you can switch your riding style to "relaxed" or "casual" through the interaction menu (I forgot which it is) and then there you have it

the J is for Julia

Yep, hold right to lift and close helmet visors (while riding) is gone after the gun running update. It still works when you dismount.

Ah, of course. Thanks, I remember now.

I used to do it as a little celebration as I approached the finish if I came first in a bike race. :( Edited by Big Molio

Yeah it was hot as hell to save low level randoms and then slap it shut before I rode off.

It's probably something that was written over in the mess of code that now makes up the add-ons. I'm sure it will be fixed in the next update.
