My tickets are still awaiting a further response. I sent two but they were amalgamated into one.

 

I too was asked to send up videos of the Legendary website and the lack of liveries on guns etc.

 

Have had no reply and of course tomorrow is the 4th of July, so a public holiday in the USA, so I doubt much will happen till later this week. I did ask them to just give me a Vagner and all the liveries for free, we should all do the same.

I could actually give a flying f* about the Vagner and the liveries. I want to be able to play the game but without being able to buy body armor it doesn't makes sense at all.

Interesting one for me is I had the armour purchasing issue on Thursday and it rectified itself on Friday.

I've exlained it to them in German and English, and that deleting the respective files from the game folder and re-downloading and re-installing the update via Steam didn't solve the issue. I've also sent them a video:

 


^ It starts from the main menu, so that they can see due to the update's advertising on the screen that it's not some random old video

Funny, I have no problems with buying the body armor. And the price (for the heavy one) is back to $500. Are you able to purchase the firework launcher/rockets at Ammu Nation?

Gute Arbeit!

 

For me the price of the armor is still 375,- $ and I still get the same error message when purchasing them.

 

/edit: About the fireworks launcher. I have it in my inventory but it's not showing up at Ammunation so I can't buy new rockets (still have some left). What is interesting is that I can see the Western Sovereign at Souther San Andreas Super Autos and presumably could buy it for 90k instead of the 120k it normally costs because of the discount. I guess it only shows up because I had bought and sold it again last year already so it was listed in there all the time already.

i asked a friend to login to steam on my pc and there are all updates available, including vagner, liveries etc, while ingame with her acc. so yeah.

Try this:

 

Browse to your "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA V" folder.

 

Inside there should be a file named "entitlement". Delete it and start the game (a new file will be generated automatically).

Nobody had mentioned trying that yet, and I don't think uninstalling the game and reinstalling it will remove that file.

 

It's supposed to change/ reset each time you load the game up, but that may not have happened. Still, it probably won't help anyway.

Yeah I've exhausted client-side possibilities. Why though it works on a different machine, but not on your own machine I don't know.

Who said it worked on a different machine.

 

I thought it was suggested that other people could log in on their accounts on the same machine and the content was present, suggesting it is an account issue.

When logging into my R*SC account, the Vagner is listed there. Does it mean anything? Not sure if deleting some folders or files in c:/users or /documents will fix that - and people say they've already tried it. But why is it working when logging in on different machines? I don't get it.

Maybe as it is Tuesday and I understand another car is to be released todays tuneable will fix the issue?

Can't go online right now to check it. Maybe it's the case.

It is kinda relevant as one is a server side issue the other is client side.

Incidentally I had to reinstall SC last Tuesday as a 67MB update kept crashing launcher just before it finished. Wondered if this was a common issue or just a few.

As far as I understand the following post, it's the latter. The former was merely a suggestion?

I also have the DVD/Rockstar DL version and I've had the update work fine since it was released.

 

I remember an issue I had ages ago, sometime in early 2016 maybe, can't recall what it was exactly, but nothing worked as suggested, like you guys are all trying.

What did work however, was creating a guest account on my PC and logging into GTA on that and it would somehow re-establish the full link with the server-side stuff with your PC files.

 

You can also simply try to login and check the in-game items on a friend's computer.

If all's good on another PC, the above method should hopefully rectify it, if you've tried all the other things.

 

It may work for you, it of course may not, but thought I'd throw it out there while you wait.

I couldn't even suggest getting the installer for the latest Social Club program and seeing if that fixed it, as it does sound more like an online/ server/ account issue. But it's a strange one - tunables have had updates either weekly or monthly since the game came out, and only now there's issues!?

 

Can't even get some server switches right, goodness me.

I have the same exact problem, on PC with Windows 7. Have sent a ticket, will update if I figure anything out or hear back on my ticket.

So I just went home and logged in (July 04, 2017, 21:40 CEST)... nope, content still not available. Logged off again.

 

I think that stupid R* will somehow manage to add the Vagner for us to "legendarymotorsports" later with a patch/fix, maybe even after the ID event/update. So no worries for me at least. But I guess I have to live without the ID design on my MOC.

 

Has anyone actually tried this method of adding a new account in windows to see if it works?

 

Has anyone maybe already got another account setup they can test with?

A buddy logged in on my machine today and he could at least buy the Vagner. Unfortunately we couldn't check for the designs of the MOC and MkII weapons as he has no bunker. It definitely seems to be account and not system related as this little test shows.

 

The good news is that I can buy bodyarmor again as the discount is finally gone now. I could also buy rockets for the fireworks launcher today as it was showing up now which is a little strange. I also bought the Western Sovereign to test if this would unlock the other ID stuff but it didn't.

 

Btw, my second char is also missing the new content but that was somehow expected.

I normally submit my tickets as PS4 even though I am on PC in order to avoid submitting system files which are not needed.

 

Even though my 2 tickets make this very clear, I find myself again with a response today that is relevant to PS4 only.

 

Gonna submit another just now and ask it to be elevated to a higher level and dealt with appropriately today.

 

Interestingly I just remembered there was a guy on reddit who had the issue on PS4, which would confirm again that it is an account issue and not client side.

Finally sorted. To fix do this:-

 

- Load Online game.

 

- Go to Social Club overlay, Cog (top right), Settings, Profile

 

- 4th option down "Delete Local Profile"

 

- Proceed with deleting it as it does not delete saves or characters, merely the local copy on PC.

 

You will get logged out of online to story mode. I then quit game and logged back in, but u might be able to just go to online. Social Club sign in is needed again. Once done game launches and voila. Vagner now present.
