This has probably been asked before and I feel like I should know this, but if I wanted to do the alien egg resupply on my 2nd character after only doing it on my 1st, I would have to grind 600 supplies, right? I don't get a free pass, right?

yup. It is no different than the Gold Crate Trophy (CEO). Your gonna have to grind on your second account as well

Tips from the grind

 

Thruster is useful for supplies on that ship in Chupacabra St.

And even more useful for the Merryweather Base railgun, as you can fly in through the gap in the roof and land right by the security panel.

Deathbike (no saws) great for Humane Labs and the mine and the subway tunnel.

I saw a post on Reddit about a guy mentioning 3000 units manufactured, so I´m using that as a reference.

My biggest problem is having my bunker actually use up the supplies so I can do more runs. I can't just do a supply run with a tiny notch missing!

If you don't mind wasting lots of money you could blow up your sale vehicle to save time.. doesn't the new years snow usually last for 2+ days, or no?

Not sure question is  relevant since you can start a supply mission almost every other 7 minutes ish (You do not need to wait your supplies are totally empty before starting a supply mission)

 

Otherwise to try answer your question from maths point of view:

you need like 4 supply missions (ish) to have full supplies bar. 1 full supply bar will create 20 units of stock

600/4=150*20= 3000 units ish

After a gruelling grind, I finally found the behelit alien egg.

Apologies for the shoddy quality of the screenshots but I basically rushed this mission because I was terrified of my power going out (like it did a few hours prior) and permanently ruining 20+ hours of grind. Despite this and some of the mission's design seeming rushed, I still loved the whole atmosphere. I really wish this could be replayed. It's also a huge shame that there is no egg on permanent display on the bunker, otherwise I'd have gone after this mission as soon as it was discovered.

 

The alien tattoo is my next target. I'm still figuring out if I'm going after it immediately or wait a little longer due to its dodgy status on PC. Either way, I plan on recording me getting it so I have something to show R* Support in case it disappears.

 

Special credits go to the Berserk, Dark Souls and Halo soundtracks, as well as SomeOrdinaryGamers' trollpasta readings, for making this grind way more interesting and passable than it has any right to be. Needless to say, I'm not touching bunker resupplying jobs in the next six months or more.

@Aghakhi, yep. You need to resupply 600 times for this mission to show up and it's a one-time-only event. There's no counter on your bunker PC so you have to keep manual track yourself so you have any sort of idea where you are.

 

Prior to Arena Wars, which introduced the "???" tattoo that has this mission as a requirement, I didn't even care to do it myself due to a lack of a tangible reward.

I used to buy my resups all the time, so I can't figure out how many resup mission I did based on the units processed. So I just try to do three resups each time I log in. So that's 200 days of grinding until I get the chance to get the mission. So roughly around October, November I should have that under the belt and then we can start the quest for the tattoo...  KInda idiotic they didn't include the resup mission stat in your stats… Ah well...

I'm basically doing the same. Aside glitching the weather (not my thing), it'll be Christmas before I can even get the tattoo, lol. I'm in no rush. 

 

I was just gonna concentrate on these, but I got a bit bored so I'm just doing 5 supplies max each session and have my fun elsewhere. Easy $262.5k per shift too.

This is the best way to do it. Even though it was my original M.O. and what I recommended another user to do in order to motivate them into pursuing the egg, I ended up escalating the number of daily resupplies way above that number - just so that I could get the thing done and go back to enjoying myself playing the game. Thank god it's over.

 

Which puts things into perspective and tells me that I best wait for at least another update before pursuing the tattoo. Someone lost it on PC and it never got added into the parlour options and I don't want to risk suffering the same fate and throwing all my work away. Rockstar, if they still give any sort of attention to these things, might correct it for everyone by the next DLC and give it back to those who unlocked it the first time.

 

However, I rather not take that gamble.

I hope they do fix that for you guys on PC, I've read a few comments regarding that and I can't blame you for holding out considering the effort/time it takes to achieve that little unlock. Such a shame they don't patch things in the background for something like this.

 

I hope you get good fortune, and saw you mention above about taking screenshots etc. That too is just a shame we have to do that as R* should know what we're up to if they looked at the info their end.

 

But I bet you are relieved to be right there ready though, lol. Well played.

Funny, I was just thinking about going after the alien egg & whatcha you know, the thread is on the first page.

 

My plan is to do 2 supply missions per day, I have 599 missions to go & should put mission 600 in the November time frame, close to the Snow season. That way, I can do the egg, tattoo & whatever they add next in one go.

 

@Volganor good thinking, they better fix the tattoo issue with the next update.

As far as i am concerned, the Alien egg has been a kind of obsession, a supreme quest since march or april 2015.

I was on PS3 at that time. I was in public session with a friend, a modder did put one of these eggs on our heads. we got rid of it by leaving gtao and reloading but one question came to our mind: "where did he get the frame from?"

I spent hours, days, weeks, months looking for it everywhere in the map, undermap, in story... R* trolled me lol

The egg was one of the reasons for which i decided to replay entirely GTA on PS4 (i did not transfer, started december 2017) and keep playing it

@Fun 2, to the best of your knowledge, if a PC player acquires the "???" tattoo, it disappears and doesn't show up in the parlour, could it be lost forever and never be added to be reapplied at the tattoo shop?

Seven resups today, so I'm doing well... Completed a lil over 1% LOL...

 

A plus is the fact I'm no longer dishing out 75k for my 210k bunkersales... Plan on using the NC-production more too… Always waited and sold special full combos, but since I only have three MC facilities, most of the time I was missing one part of those special sales.. So I decided to just sell single (full) products there as well.. Today 400K on that, 240k on IE cars, 300k counterfeit and 210k on Coke (bike ambush and lost two bikes by transporting three in a Titan, which blew up again at delivery.. why o why did they have to tweak the Bombushka,pffff)… Good day today…  Tomorrow I'll fill up my m ediuma and small warehouse, so we can fork out that cash on tuesday, when the new car drops in.. :-)...

FINALLY unlocked the mission today. I managed to record most of it, and took photos along the way. I'll add a pic once I figure out how to do that on here. Happy that the grind can be over now!!

 

Just gotta wait for the next snow fall....
