PS3/360 Exclusive hiest?

im sure im not the only one, but did anybody else ever remember of there being talk of last gen getting an exclusive hiest due to hiests not coming out for like 2 years after online?

I'm gonna go on a limb here and say you are.

 

What would a last-gen heist be like? Cutscene has everyone with no chest while someone airhumps you that's not even part of the heist team, cars parked under windmills sticking out of the ground? R* definitely scrapped anything that has to do with last-gen. The real question is how long until they cut it off (or will Sony/Microsoft cut the online first).

The exclusive heist you're talking about was a heist found in the update files for the xbox360/ps3 version and contained beta/testing version items of existing heists.

granted idk how credible the site is, but i knew for a fact i heard rumors about this sh*t 2-3yrs ago

 

"PS3 and Xbox 360 get exclusive gear

A lot of new vehicles, gear and weapons will be introduced in GTA 5 along with the online heists DLC. But, some interesting ones will be available only on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. It was revealed in a leaked set of images taken from a Rockstar video. The screenshot confirms that a host of new weapons including shotgun suppressors that blast in silence, thermite based explosives and Alien inspired flare guns are coming to the game.

The original game may or may not efficiently use this stuff but in online heists, it is an easy fit. The cops and thieves have to notify each other of their location when flare guns become really useful. Shotguns are the best weapon to go, especially in close firefight and heists. Players who have experienced Battlefield Hardline beta might easily understand why shotguns are so much fun when robbing banks.

Masks and more guns

Ever since the joker used those funny yet terrifying masks in the Batman movie, people have associated heists with masks. GTA 5 will offer a wide range of masks that you could make use of while robbing places. Over six different heist contents will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 but only five will be available for the next gen. This looks like a special prize for those who purchased the first edition of the game and waited a whole year for this amazing DLC."

According to the latest tweet (see above) from Funmw2, it is ascertained that there will be five Heist finales for PS4 and Xbox One, while the last-gen will be receiving six missions in all.

It is not yet clear why there will be an extra Heist mission for the last-gen consoles.

Last gen doesn't even get bug fixes let alone actual content. It's been 2 years since the last update for 360/PS3.

im not saying it is, im just curious as to whatever happened to that rumored 6th heist? i play on ps4 so its no concern to me, but i just kept hearing about this "exclusive" heist for last gen only to make up for making people wait over a year when heists was practically announced at release

 

im just wondering, its not like R* haven't flaked out on previous content decisions (cough cough) SP DLC

so was curious as to what happened to it, but everybody actin like they got blindfolds and earmuffs

im genuinely surprised that nobody else has ever heard about it, i mean isn't this THE GTA forums? surely there must be speculation on these kinda things?

 

or is everybody stuck in the B&M thread because of GR lmfao

fellas fellas, dont start being toxic on one another, i just started this thread to simply speculate on rumors of the long lost 6th last gen exclusive hiest that there was so much talk about way back when

theres no need to be toxic to one another, yes it is annoying when people scoff and act ignorant over a question i presented, but you live, you learn, i just dont adhere to the dumb sh*t that ppl say, especially over forums

 

if there is any actual info that people want to speculate or even answer my question then im all ears
