I give you reason then, I can't even argue about it's age since your iPhone was launched about for the same period and I agree Apple is better than any Android brand when it comes to keeping their older devices up to date (even Google, the Pixel has 2 years of waranteed updates - they never say it won't have updates after that period, but neither they say it will). Both the phones he's mentioning are atleast 4 to 5 years old. S3 was released in 2012 and it got 3 Android Updates from 4.0.4 to 4.3. I remember my brother owning a S3. The Camera and Battery life like those was a bliss back then. I still haven't heard any iPhone user saying that the battery is great over an Android device, so that's a first.

I like Apple and Samsung, apple is very smooth and sleek because it runs on it's own OS, with special features like imessage and facetime are unbeatable.

 

Samsung is my only experience on Android but they're reliably speedy as well so I'll stick to them. I want to get an iPhone X but it's super expensive and the S8 beats it anyway, at a lesser price and edge screen.
