SirBret Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Hi everyone So yesterday I had a big issue. Filled warehouse with 42 crates, sold them and was doing my rounds in the stupid slow plane dropping the 10 crates etc when an NPC chopper decided to use me as target practice. I'm flying solo in a flying tugboat so yes, I got shot down, WASTED and lost all 42 crates ($250,000+ spent, down the drain). How can I get around this issue or are there better ways to make money when playing solo? Currently I have two 42 crate warehouses and am a CEO (lots of Sightseer missions being done). Crate runs are the definition of 'Too much work for too little pay' Be warned though, when exporting a car in a session by yourself, NPCs with precision accuracy give chase in Sultan RS's, which can really hurt value of the vehicle you're exporting. That being said, invest in a Cargobob helicopter if you haven't already. You can use it to fly the car right to the dropoff and avoid the Sultans altogether. jazzbone Posted June 30, 2017 Share Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) After getting my garage at 10-10-22 i only source and deliver the FMJ for the 80K pay. The Bob is essential for best time, minimal profit reduction from damage, not having to wait to kill the 3 or 4 waves of Sultan guys, and you can avoid long delivery drives like the vineyard location. Stealing the cars like the stunt car is easy with a Bob as the car can be picked up and the jump is not needed. Same with the exploding cars as only driven cars explode. For good pay per hour mix in 2 car sourcing and deliveries with vip jobs and custom Sandking sales. Crates,cocaine, gunrunners can have supplies purchased and passively have production and reseach produced while doing other jobs. Buying instead of stealing provides less profit but stealing can be time consuming. With the new gunrunners supply theft the supplies are cheap and some runs are short and easy.However with cheap supplies i would buy instead of steal for he better use of time, Vip jobs will quickly cover the supply cost and production continues while doing other jobs. Many of the GR supply stealing missions are fun and some in areas unique to gunrunners so mix in some supply steals with supply purchases to experience those new mission. Time is a big factor. A single big pay may not look as good if time to earn is figured. Think in 1 or 2 hour blocks of play time and keep a log of your activites to see how much you actualy earner after deducting necessay costs. One source mission / one sales mission - delivery w Bob takes 5 min. No frustration w multiple slow delivery vehicles or unpleasant surprise of expensive modifications needed operate business. If newbie on tight budget would just get AE and not bother w others. Shop around on auto export warehouse - moving costs u bigtime. I would recommend go visit site. Good LZ for Bob critical. The 2 cheapest ones unacceptable in my view. My choice was LSIA Greenwich locn within walking distance of my ten car garage there in that neat complex. LSC nearby. I usually loose track of 'work' and go on a little rampage agains the cops, or something that anyone would do in GTA. I don't own the coke biz, but if u do, you can add whatever that makes to the 500k you allready making from the 'job list' above. That's my method, sometimes i change depending on location or time needed to get to another task without loosing too much time and waisting loads on timers to source/sell and do VIP missions. if u get to deliver the sourced car to the vineyard, in my case the bunker is the Zancudo one, so it's just a 20 second flight with the buzzard, i just change everything i'm doing and head there to supply our sell the bunker since it's a few seconds way. The filling a 10 car garages with dubsta 2? You need help of a friend, one starts the mission Chopper Tail, drives his D2 up and down the road by LSIA lsc until a D2 spawns, the 2nd player takes the D2 to their garage, player who started the mission must not enter the garage, but, wait outside Best garage is the one behind lsc Come back round to main road, turn left, stop at the tree, wait for 2 cars to come over the brow and pass the billboard, drive up to lsc, another D2 sat there Repeat until collected enough cars If player 1 requires some D2, restart the mission with player 2 as host There is a video by The Dutch Queen on YouTube showing this, she does it on ps4, I do it on xb1 exactly the same Here's a link to the video SirBret 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
