Some general questions/tips I could use some help on

So I have been away from GTAO for a very long time and just getting back into it I can tell there's some stuff I've missed.

 

What is the best way to make money at this stage of the game in a solo or crew-only session?

 

I've been hearing import/export but I don't know if I can closed session grind that or if it is public session only. I'm looking ideally for something I can do low-key with a friend or two without much grief.

 

If anybody in a similar situation can give me some pointers I'd appreciate it because Crystal Clear Out III x16 just isn't cutting it.

 

I'd like some pointers before I go spending my money.

I was going to chew ice into the mic the whole time but they might just mute me so back to the drawing board.

Import/export is probably the best money maker at the moment for solo players. Sadly it has to be done in a public lobby, although there's nothing to stop you making that a solo public lobby by setting a low MTU value on consoles or port blocking if you are on PC.

The new gunrunning business looks as though it could be good to run in the background but it has very high start up costs.

Other than these if you're a solo player you could try doing VIP work using a Buzzard.

Yeah VIP work and CCC3 are my usual, guess things haven't changed much.

 

Gunrunning looks promising but it seems to average out to the same 18k profit margin of just about everything else.

 

Didn't know about the MTU trick, seems pretty effective so far, so thanks for that one badmoon.

Just do headhunter, executive search, challenges and export a car here and there. You'll be earning half a million in about 2-3 hours.

Im still running my coke and meth labs they make a tidy profit for doing next to nothing i just fund/forget/sell

Bunkers not to bad ive made 1.6 million so far from doing the same cash is needed to do this though
