Can I trade in a bunker like MC clubhouses?

I understand you will lose your upgrades, but can you trade in a more expensive bunker and get the price difference debited to you like properties and clubhouses? Example: If I trade in the Chumash bunker (1.6M) for the Paleto bunker (1.1M) will I gain 500k?

 

FYI I want to create a new character for fun and make better investments in the long run. I'm just really bored of my current so I am trying to sell everything.

Yes, you'll get 50% of the cost of the one you're replacing when you purchase a new one.

 

Your example is wrong though:

50% of $1,600,000 is $800,000

When you buy Paleto (which can be a delivery nightmare to the city, according to some owners) it will cost $1,100,000. You will have a net LOSS of $300,000, PLUS you lose all upgrades (style, shooting range, personal quarters, gun safe, electric carts; and staff, equipment, & security upgrades)
