This game, this franchise, this company is a mess.

 

I'm really sorry this happened to you. Rockstar is just losing it and going ape with bans in an attempt to stop modded money and money glitches. They have no idea that these ban waves aren't the answer; tons of people have put in the time to get to where they are without ever glitching a single dollar (yet they too get caught in the crossfire), and their GTA Online character means a lot to them.

I understand that seems rude from R*. And indeed its not so fair. But u are responsble for account. If you are victim of $ /RP u must immediatly stop gaming and report to rockstar, until its fixed. Its in the EULA. I agree most just players not asking for hacked $, but u get it witouht wanting.

 

I know lots of guys that are locked now, said "I never hacked" but if keep investigation, they say "yeah I got 500m$ from modder"

 

It is also rockstars responsibility to give it's customers and users a SAFE and SECURE environment in which to play their product. I think we can all agree Rockstar are falling far short in that regard with them waiting months on end to fix horrific exploits and cheating practices.

 

As for "keep investigating" can we please stop this crap, I know at least one person that has never to their knowledge ever received any hacker money. They religiously avoided public sessions choosing to stay in private sessions, do contact missions and join my heists. They have never received any hacker money whatsoever. Another that has been banned got 1 mill shoved on him before he could disconnect, he contacted Rockstar several times about the issue and heard nothing. Both are now banned through no fault of there own because Rockstar failed in their duty to provide a safe and secure environment for their customers.

That hardly counts for anything. You can change session a couple of times and you have yourself a empty lobby or does that also make you non legit?

 

Yeah that was abit of a stretch. Its like the last accusation one can make to accuse of exploiting the game. However at the end of the day I guess it can be argued an exploit is an exploit.

Honestly if that was happenning to me, i would quit the game for good. I don't have the time nor the patience nowadays to get everything back, and shark cards are absolutely out of the question.

Same. I've put in way too much time and energy to start from scratch. I can't even imagine doing it all over again to buy all the properties, cars, business, offices, etc. I'd be completely demoralized.

I have been getting messages from randoms in freemode asking me straight up if I want to buy a modded account. That's never happened to me before getting that oh so scary cheating message from R a few weeks ago. Call me paranoid and buy me a tin foil hat but I was thinking it was R trying to trick me into accepting it and then they would ban me for it.

 

I've had that once. From a complete moron too. He wanted me to swap my rank 650 and 250 characters for a rank 200 and 80. Even after I told him I had $180m in the bank and owned just about everything he still tried to convince me it would be a good idea.

What R* is doing is all kinds of f*cked up, it's just stupidity, like they are trying to kill off all the loyal players of this game one-by-one at a time? Only keeping the new players in who are more likely to buy a Shark Card?

 

I can understand them using an automated detection system to raise flags on a suspicious player, but dishing bans automatically? Without an admin coming and looking at your profile? That's beyond retardation, even to them!

 

The same sh*t has happened to Shao Khan from here, but that was some time ago, and given the backlash that ban wave has got, I thought they would have known better by now.

 

This is truly horrific, can you imagine how even more f*cked up that would be if you had bought a $100 shark card not so long before the ban?

 

This update has really been a disaster for the part of this community that sees beyond the flashy and shiny content and actually cares about the state of the game.

Hello guys I was reading your forums the past days as I got a ban too but didn't have anything to say.

I was banned at 25th of June and I didn't use any cheat or mod of course. and after alot of msges to rockstar from me and friends without any notification I got unbanned.
I only got some automated messages from their support and then tryed the other and legal category where they haven't answered me yet.
but since I got this unfair ban lifted I am happy again Just needed to say that and give hope to you too guys

As legit 300 lvl player, I don't understand all these complains. This game is good no doubt, but there are also so many downsides, that makes me hate it: balance, bugs, lags, annoying loading screens, the phone, tryhard pvp glitchers and of course cheaters. Cheaters are the worst, I'm so tired of them, that don't even mind to take a collateral damage during ban waves. Never happened to me though, but if it will, it would be for good, so I don't have to deal with all this bs anymore.

Another thing, there is a part in EULA, we all agreed to, allowing R* to disable online for anyone by any reason. They can even shut it down any moment. Not like I defend them, I just understand their motivation and accept it, and for all who don't - may be it's a time to grow up?

And to bitching about lost effort - jeez, put your effort in real life, games are made to have fun and kill time, otherwise you doing it wrong.

And I have to add, As you shout in the forest, so it echos. The R support was always great and very fast. THings done in hours. But If you are banned and u send as I just read here sending spam or even insults dont have to wonder that you dont get helped. Those are humans, You cannot treat support bad and only complain after your cheated account got locked.

 

Have to accept you did wrong, get the punishment and stay it as man, after you have chance to become fair player and pay respect for EULA

Then I forked out 9 million of my hard earned cash to unlock the explosive ammo so I could finally get back at the jet griefers who f*cked me over in the past.

Games been out for nearly 4 years. I'm sure there are hundreds, if not, thousands of legit rank 1000s roaming around, I'd even say legit 1500s and very rarely legit 2000s.

 

And yes, repeating pac heist over and over without doing setups makes you non-legit.
