It is hard to believe anyone because whenever there's a ban wave everyone screams they did nothing wrong.

 

Why would R* ban a player if they did nothing wrong? I dont think they care if you found a glitch or had money dropped on you. I think they specifically target people who used or use mod menus. IF R* banned PC users for receiving cash half the population would be banned right now for all the mess that was happening before the last patch.

I don't know why they do it, but I can confirm that they are doing that. I swear (of course you won't believe me) that I never used any hack or mod. I am legit lvl 305 and had about 50 millions on my bank account. The only "glitch" I used was suspending GTA via task manager to create an empty session. Does this justify to reset my character, which I developed over years?

Honestly, if you asked the British public to have voted for R*'s course of action they couldn't have done much worse (and their recent record at the ballot box ain't great for anyone not familiar with Blighty).

I would advise filing a complaint on Better Business Bureau if you are desperate. At least you should be able to contact an actual human being from Rockstar in a few days from there, rather than Zendesk.

B3 can't do a sh*t or how huge thing it's in the USA? Dunno. Media is where the hot pot is. Maybe some of people here could give interviews on the latest happenings on GTA Community? Would any major media outlet be interested?

 

You know. The best way to contact a business is to get in the way of it's profits. The safest and the best way is via the media outlets. Someone mentioned Youtubers. Good. I think this is your issue, Darth. Sorry, mate but "pretty much" reporting money drops is not the same as 'actually' reporting it. Did you fully report this money and have it wiped by Rockstar support? If you did then you're OK and have a case to present. Otherwise you're going to have to bit the bullet I'm afraid and accept the account reset.

 

The account suspension doesn't seem too bad - a month, but the data wipe is really really harsh. Unbelievably harsh. Sorry!

 

I did report by sending tickets at rockstar support....but yes again, i think there might have been a few occasions were i just ridded myself of the money by suiciding myself till it was gone.

 

 

 

Can confirm this is not the case right now. I got 400K of money (small amount, I know) wiped today (also confirming the money wipes and ban waves are linked) and I didn't report it.

My 2nd account started March 2016, currently rank 664, had this account met with my 1st modded (and retired because of) I'd easily be beyond rank 1000 legitimately. Not one glitch, cheat, mod, whatever... Just playing the game, grinding hard when applicable.

 

This kind of foolish ignorance needs flushing man, nearly 4 years for some... rank 2k is easily obtainable by a die hard player, certainly 1500 these days, rare, but possible!

There have been plenty of double RP events plus the daily objectives are one hell of a boost for RP. I did the daily objectives religiously for pretty much a whole year and that is a hell of a boost with 3k a day, plus 15k bonus for doing it for 7 days plus a 50k bonus for doing it for 28 days.

Double RP events are not taken into account.

 

During 2x GTA$ and RP, people tend to pay more intense when it comes to activities and for longer periods of time as opposed to when there's no double rp event.

 

There is also 3x RP from Premium races, although I do not know if Darth participated in those or not.
