Building tolerance or resistance to narcotics

As in real life, does my online character building a tolerance to weed/alcohol? I'm curious as it would be really cool to see this degree of detail, plus the fact that it would help on some missions where you must drive high.

I don't think our characters can build up a resistance, and it seems highly unlikely that they ever would. However, I've heard if you start off with flares and then work your way up to 9mm and beyond, you can build up a slow resistance to bullets, even becoming impervious to even the most advanced of guided missiles.

Don't try this at home, nor in LS.

An interesting question, but I doubt it. Seems like a minor detail that Rockstar wouldn't bother implementing.

Wut... "plus the fact that it would help on some missions where you must drive high".

In my 3 and a half years of playing, I have not encountered one mission like that.

Your probably high right now and thinking of Saints Row or sommin'.

Nah my friend got a mission where she had to deliver her weed in a truck that the buyer was in, and the buyer's weed smoke made her high and she had to drive it like that

I wish all of the delivery missions were random, but no, it's boxvilles, buzzards, planes, boxvilles, trash trucks, planes, buzzards....

I know it's a stretch, but imagine doing stunt races, well, any racing while as high as when delivering the weed, or pissed...

'Coming soon, 2 new adversary modes, Drunk as a Skunk, and High Times... 2 New GTA style races, with crazy jumps, slick corners, and puke stains everywhere'...

After all, GTA itself is a crime... I know, I know, it'll never pass... But it could be funny, plus the race trolls wouldn't find PIT manoeuvers so easy, lol...

That reminds me of this great movie:

[discussing interrogation techniques]

Larry: How did they finally get to you?

Sam: They gave me a grasshopper.

Larry: What's a grasshopper?

Sam: Lessee, two parts gin, one part brandy, one part Creme de Menthe..

Indeed, Rockstar in a nutshell these days. I remember the time when "Rockstar" were all about detail with their games. GTA Online ruined them. Edited by Fugitive69
