What's the point of purchasing Security Upgrades?!

Why purchase security upgrades if your cocaine and meth businesses are CONSTANTLY being raided??? It's to the point now where I try to NOT be registered as an MC president as much as possible, because if I stay registered for more than 30 seconds, I get the call from LJT regarding my place(s) being raided. Now, I ONLY register as I'm standing right in front of the door to the lockup or lab so that I can immediately walk in and go to the laptop.

 

Anyone else love being raided constantly? Anyone else quit their real life to tend to these business full-time?

The security upgrades are a scam. My security guard is always napping in a chair and the place still gets raided everytime I register as a MC if I am not in my warehouse at the time of registering.

It's worth it, if only to be able to go indefinitely AFK in a way that you can check your production/research progress with the press of one button.

Don't start up outside the lab, start up by accessing the laptop, retire it before leaving, and be quick to retire/change sessions asap after sales, though with only 1 business, others can't get raided after a sale of another, basically don't be in free mode and your MC

With how much can be made with the passive income from gun running, it's not worth starting a mC business at all, financially speaking, and LJT can be a pain to deal with.

Raids will happen once your stock is 20% or more.

Meth: $42,500 (Stock)

Coke: $50,000 (Stock)

Without security upgrades:

It's 4 hours of inactivity to trigger a Meth raid, 3 hours of inactivity to trigger a Coke raid.

With security upgrades:

Meth: 8 hours

Coke: 6 hours

You can delay it if most of your time is resupply and doing clubhouse contracts and MC Work.

You can stop it by keeping your stock below 42k (Meth) or 50k (Coke) and sell it.

Very true, and idling in between jobs, resupplies etc. But also, in my case at least, I use the same logic with my bunker as my MC businesses, basically, I'm never a CEO or MC leader when I'm just goofing etc. you know?... Unless I need to for attack/defence vs. players, or if my businesses are inactive of course...

I've shut down my MC businesses because of raids & LJT's calls.

I use bunker, CEO crates & cars now for money. I only register as MC Pres to either quick call a bike or invite more than four on a resupply.

Be quarefull, I've got a raid just behind the door. All the cop literally spawned around me and shoot me, and BOOM "Under Arrest" and i've lost everything. So now I only register near but not to close.

I haven't bought it for my bunker and have yet to see a raid. I'm mostly curious just to as how it'd go down. I've had my biker businesses raided before, and took them out pretty quick, but I don't run them anymore and wouldn't be able to tell if there was a change in police raid rate.

My MC business have no "security upgrades" and only had an issue one time, and had to recuse my staff.

I had 2 raids with security upgrade in the bunker. One where i had to disarm 3 bombs in 5 minutes and kill npcs in between the disarming, the countdown timer starts when you arrive at the truck. In the other one i had to fly a valkyrie back to my bunker with some buzzards in the back that was easy. I did both retrieve missions alone. Both raids were after a biker sale, and the bunker was 100% full with weapons. Im glad i did the siteseeing so often so i can hack pretty good. Else i would have failed on the bomb disarm retrieve mission. Im wondering what other defend/retrieve missions are possible.

Never become a president before selling so you can't get raided

170k is the limit for a single delivery vehicle. A full bar of Supplies (75k worth) will get you 140k ... Which you can sell to Los Santos for 210k.

Yep, 50% for the Bunker.

 

I've never bought security for anything and only had my bunker raided once.

As long as your stock of manufactured weapons doesn't exceed 50%, your bunker will never get raided.

 

The Security upgrade only delays the raids, doesn't eliminate them completely.

I have the security upgrade and I usually sell guns @ < 50% stock solo so I don't get raided.

 

But I'm still glad I have it because I use it mostly for the AFK @ the security monitors that are right next to the laptop.

My coke business got raided all the time. I had security upgrades installed, but to no avail. To a point that I quit being a MC president.

 

I did not install security upgrades in my bunker or facility. Raiding seems to happen only if your bunker stock is above 50%. I buy a full set of supplies for 75 k$ and do one manual supply mission if there is inventory room again. That results in 25% stock level worth 175 k$. Which is the maximum you can sell solo.
