kj2022
Is anybody else experiencing an issue with a fresh San Andreas install? The game will not launch on Windows 10 claiming that Direct X isn't installed when it is.
Solution VASSILY Posted June 23, 2017 Solution Share Posted June 23, 2017 (edited) Open the Start Menu and Type "Control Panel" and select it Select "Uninstall a program" At the Left side of the window choose "Add/Delete Windows Functions" (The Third choice anyway , Translated from French Edition of Win10) Tick the "Legacy Components" Choose "OK" to confirm your choice That may make it work for sure Note : To avoid any issues with this game I would recommand to use the SilentPatch , available @ GTA Garage Enjoy Edited June 23, 2017 by VASSILY kj2022 and HalfOfAKebab
lil weasel
Plenty of problems. The Windows 10 will not recognize the DVD being in the drive, let alone loading/installing. STEAM game installed and got screwed up. Had to delete it and reinstall. Windows 10 did something and screwed it up again, this time it could not be uninstalled, so Steam would not Reinstall it. I gave up. got a refund. Windows 10 is a total mess. I lost the use of a Printer, It did some kind of "update" and My mouse has stopped scrolling (this week), Other games refuse to install or won't run.
