Zuck_A_D1ck Posted June 23, 2017 Share Posted June 23, 2017 why almost mod need the 1.0 version???that's the one thing is off-roading in my brain(LOL) Once,i'm downloading the ModLoader of All GTA...And im was just cut the modloader.asi without read the readme file...When i'm play my gta...there's so lot of bug...a hour after,my gta was crash...so,what happen??? when i'm was reading the readme file... one word say"need 1.0 version of the EXE" I'm was screaming!!"what the?!Im was have the 1.1 version of all GTA After that... i'm download another mod... Link2012 Posted June 23, 2017 Share Posted June 23, 2017 Because most of the time an executable is compiled, its memory addresses changes, and modding heavily relies on modifying those little things. As such, we tend to target only a specific executable (usually the first one ever) and implement any patching of further versions by ourselves. Also see SilentPatch. Forgive me if this is a very stupid thing to ask, but where would someone get the downgrader for GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas? Silent patch fixes 1.0 exe bugs as well as feature additional fixes not present on steam exe's.
