Yep, they want to avoid anything like that ever happening so they didn't even entertain the idea of in-game trading. I think I agree with that decision though as I think in-game trading would just cause more harm than good.

Ok, last night there was a girl online and she was real bully to other players, and she was also throwing very disgusting racial comments.

 

I am bored so I get involved. At first, I was really kind, I just asked her if she can watch her manners little bit. She gets mad, starts screaming in her mic and telling me I am retard,then some racist comments that do not apply in my case anyway.

 

Long story short, i kill her and her friend couple of times, then they get their jet, kill me, go to passive and run to their yacht. Defense on.

 

Ok, I go on my own way but she is still talking trash. Some of the worst comments I have ever heard playing any multiplayer game.

 

I ask her if she has any daddy isssues because there is no other explanation for her behavior. Ok, now she is really mad. She is calling some friend or at least pretending to. She tells him my ps4 user and she wants him to fry my router. Really?

I tell her to do so and then she will quickly learn that I am not a kid, and more importantly she will have to deal with real life consequences.

 

By the way, her user was something like Megannt57, she was a 813 level if I remember correctly. Worst type of human I have ever had to deal in any multiplayer games. Underage or not, she should be banned for rest of her life, if Rockstar would actually care.

 

In the same lobby, guy named his organization Huntin'(insert N word). And I am not allowed to send him message and ask him to remove racist organization name ? Really Rockstar???

 

My two crew members had to leave the session because of everything that was going on there yesterday. I still feel disgust with what they had to go through and I am pretty much sure that both incidents were caused by "people" who should not be allowed to play this game to begin with.

 

If Rockstar would stop to care only about Shark cards and focus more on bringing law and order to GTA servers, we would all have better gaming and social experience.

tbh i grew up with gta when i was like 8yrs old and my pops rented me gta 3 for the first time, and as soon as i started playing it i got automatically hooked to the series for the next decade and so on

but in all honesty i never touched online games until i was in my teens (like 14-15) because you get subjected to things outside the control of the ERSB rating, then most parents get understandably upset when their 10yr old knows racial slurs, an excessive vulgar vocabulary, or even act out some of this sh*t that they were doing in the game, then the parents freak the f*ck out and demand whatever game company to change things so they're kids cant be exposed to this stuff again, therefore altering and changing the game to suit the needs of kids that shouldnt be playing in the first place.

 

i understand not all kids are like this and same thing can be said for the parents but literally theres only so much people can really do in terms of kids playing online mature games, i literally remember watching this kid play either cod or gta online on his xbox and met another player who "promised" him a bunch of new content or whatever for a bit of information, now this kid being a kid not understanding the way the internet works and some of the scumbags that use it, this kid gave this other guy online his dad's credit card # then what do ya know, the dude just jacked the kid's dad $500 all because this kid was being stupid online thinking everybody is out to help them and then gets jacked.

 

then what happens? the parents start freaking out and demanding that Microsoft do something to fix this issue weither it be reinbursment from microsoft's wallet or something else and its like... really? so now Microsoft are just supposed to shut down their messaging app's over some dumb kid's mistake? or payout to this family cause this kid just got nigerian level scammed?

 

idk im not totally against kids playing online, but should take alot of precautions to the reality of online gaming especially in terms of what these kids are being exposed to, weither it is racism, weither it is griefing, weither it is scamming, not everybody online is your friend, and unfortunately that is the sad reality that people do get exposed to on a daily basis, which is why ERSB cant rate anything online because they cant control the actions of others

 

What get's me is you can't swear in a text on GTA. They made it like that for a reason. Yet look at what GTA is about lol. Its full of swearing and cannibalism, murder, drug dealing and all kinds of dark sh*t. They make the game an 18 adult game. Yet GTA Online is clearly catered towards children. Rockstar need to keep people playing thier games and they know that kids are the ones with the most free time to game. All it will take is one single person to record sessions, recaord all the squeakers, ask their ages etc. Before you know it they will have a ton of evidence that GTA Online is full of kids to take to the media to cause Rockstar huge problems. There are even parents admitting they allow their kids to play it.

I'm not wholly sure, but like this forum, I would suggest that the swear filters for users are in place because once written, obscenities and abuse between users are likely to fall under "malicious / offensive communication" laws that are in place in certain territories. The published works will be passed with an age rating, but they can't control user content as easily.

I can assure you there a kids out there that do play this game in a more mature manor than some adults, and that adults can equally act as petty as children, worse even, these adults know what they're doing to upset, annoy, wind-up, or bully people on this game. On top of that, trolling, griefing, glitching and the like is not all done by one demographic of players too...

 

My son playes like me, honest and fair, my neighbour is like a cat chasing one of those lazer pens I had as a teen, lol... He's over 20 years older than my son, yet in-game, you'd think he's the kid/troll, I assure you...

 

Plus, what is trolling?... One players troll, is another's adversary I believe, given the right circumstances... That's public lobbies for ya, don't think for one second I'm in favour of the trolls, or forced public sessions to access a game players potentially pay to access too, or that I'm too ignorant to realise that in general most kids are just little sh*ts at times too... IMO, both trolls and kids can easily be avoided too...

 

It sucks when things don't go our way, and worse when some people look to take the battles in-game any further to, messages and the like, but, just like in story mode, well, gaming in general... Sometimes we fail missions too... sh*t happens.

- Starting a random race lobby, set matchmaking to Closed and don't start the race - you will disappear for the kids since you joined the lobby, but technically you still remain in the session and (I guess?) should be able to talk to your friend

- Call a police, so blowing the cars will lead to consequences

- Request an insurgent - they won't be able to destroy it that quickly

 

 

As an adult you should be able to outsmart the kid.

Said a million times mate. Why should people be forced to leave a room by people who shouldn't be there in the first place? And i was keeping them from trolling other people by allowing them to troll me while i helped my friend. I wasn't suffering. But i can see how others can suffer. Just had a reply from Rockstar support and they have taken it seriously anyway.

All you can do with R* is report for hate speech then selectively mute the player if you have no interest in engaging them anymore. The BanHammer email address is long since closed unfortunately.

 

However, if you're willing and have the time, you can do what I've done in the past with varying degrees of success.

 

Engage them via the PSN messaging system. Be polite. "Excuse me Miss/Sir? Would you please keep the derogatory comments and racial slurs to yourself. My friends and I find them to be offensive. Thank you."

 

When they inevitably reply with more hate, report them via the PSN reporting system. That is a clear violation of the community guidelines and will get their PSN account put on warning of not suspended outright. This will not only keep them from being able to play GTA but from access to all online games and, if I'm not mistaken, block their access to Netflix via their console as well.

 

I also save (via the share button) any relevant game play footage and record audio/video as evidence should it ever be needed (it never has but no harm in covering your bases).

 

Remember, you are the better person. Just smile and nod and let them dig their gave deeper all on their own.

When I have problems with kids(blocking store doors, shooting into stores to make them close down, stalking me, following me around, and various other things), I call Merryweather on them(and the Mugger, but I haven't unlocked him yet). Judging by the video..

 

He could have ran away.... and went OTR then come out of passive and blasted them dead..

 

He could have ran away.. went OTR and snatched a vehicle and drove away.. or called for a bike.

 

He could have ran into that gang attack and caused chaos while OTR and then run/drove away.

 

But instead he slowly walked around with a group of players blowing things up around him and acted like a victim. So IMO he did not put up much of an effort to rid himself of those players.

 

Hell he could have even accepted a phone invite to a game which teleports him elsewhere. Drank himself to death and teleport. OTR and suicide. Heist set up teleport.. I mean.. Anything is better than walking slowly...lol
