Will The Modding Incident Impact The Gta Community?

This topic is based on certain opinion's.

 

I have never modded or used a mod in any Gta , but it is sad to see something get shut down that's been around for a decade and a lot of work on mod's

that basically can't even be finished now because of OpenIV being shut down from Take Two...

 

Seeing the modding community grow and grow over the past decade because of OpenIV & not to mention those Gta IV/Gta V YouTubers

Just to name a few- YeardleyDiamond R.I.P, Vucko100 , GtaSeriesVideos

 

I think getting rid of OpenIV was stupid because it wasn't even used for the online & there was so much work put into that tool for the last decade .

It was a Single Player mod tool, not online.... -_-

 

They'll regret their decision one day & me personally i think it will impact the community a lot with this issue that happened...

This place really went haywire following Take-Two's decision to shut down OpenIV and other modding programs, so to say that the GTA community was impacted is quite

an understatement.

I personally still don't know the whole official story behind all this madness, but when the cloud of dust settles, hopefully, we'll all know the big picture.

Not a modder myself, but if people want to mod IV and V, they should be able to do so as long as they don't profit from their mods.

GTA Games on PC is very popular only for his mods, centuries of thigns you can do. you need to think what happen to shut down CLEO Library or Sanny Builder.... Wait is better have my mouth in silence

Yes, they just took a series with one of the biggest modding communities out there and took down their main tool to modding recent titles.

 

Mods have been a thing since GTA I and they've came a long way, people won't give up.

 

At least T2 did something good and actually shut down sites that sell hacking tools, and made them donate all their profit to charity.

It won't die. If anything, people are gonna start modding San Andreas and the III era games again.

 

ITT - people who think IV and V are the only GTA games in the world.

From what I remember hearing, London 1969 started off as a mod to the original GTA.
