Do you sell/resupply in public (no solo) sessions?

I've started doing a few I/E jobs, try and boost my paltry savings a bit after the gunrunning spree. I haven't had any kind of trouble moving the cars around.

I rarely have problem selling cars or fetching cars for the i/e business in crowded public session, crates and mc business is another story and for those I tend to avoid public session and go solo/public

Yes I buy and sell in public if I'm too lazy to make a new solo and wait for friends to come in, or if I just fancy something that's not so mind numbingly boring.

GTA is boring when there is no challenge. Buying/selling in a public session adds the excitement of not knowing what's coming. I have a crew and a plan when I sell so we can deal with anyone who thinks they can rain on my parade. It's more interesting that way.

If it was about the money this game would have died years ago. It's about the challenge. The AI pose very little challenge.

To add - I dislike PvP and do not actively seek PvP however that doesn't mean I'm no good at it.

I play everyday in full public lobby Airfreight, Executive Search, sometimes Piracy Prevention and MC contracts(mostly anything where I can use a helico like in P.O.W and not a lame ass vehicle...so no Jailbreak for me lol). I like the excitation of being cornered during Executive Search, while P.O.W is damn immersive with that NPC you must rescue and protect.

But...why for the sake of God I would need to bother with driving a damn Zirconium Journey when there are modded/glitched account kiddos with their hydras/stupid bikes around?

The High Demand bonus is garbage in comparison to the risks involved.

No. Because it is boring and I don't want to be falling asleep while playing.

Its pretty boring selling in an empty lobby. I now try to sell in lobbies that are small and peaceful since the cheater problem has been dealt with.

EDIT : Lately ive been in solo sessions a lot. Maybe my wifi is becoming crap.

Selling a full bunker,Mc or crate product by yourself in a public lobby filled with players is not smart at all.

I only do import/export and resupplies in full public lobbies because I can use the cargobob.

For sales of any product,I find empty or friendly small lobbies.Had too many bad experiences.

There are many ways to find a rush in this game, but dying and losing half a million after setting up for days is not one of them, regardless of what anyone says.

That said this scenario changes if you have friends to help.I play solo.

I do resupplies and I/E work in public lobbies if I have to, generally try to stay in a lobby with 15 people or less so I can maintain map awareness and gunrunning has spread the players base out across San Andreas pretty effectively. I usually have no quarrels with other players, keep to myself and fly high altitudes with the Hydra if i'm crossing long distances. I primarily stick to Importing and Exporting vehicles and VIP work, throw in the occasional resupplies to keep the labcoats happy in the bunker and I have no problem earning ~400k a hour in a half full public lobby.

Only grief I usually get is from low level players that are stressed for cash, I either keep my distance from them or put them in their place if they invade my personal space.

I always sell in lobbies with other people. Better payouts :) and my CEO,Bikers and Bunker sells are 100%. Never lost a sell, I always have people help me out if my husband is busy playing another game.

One time I had a crew with 4 players helping me...I wasn't even a member of the crew or and they weren't my associates either. Maybe because I play nice and don't go around killing people for no reason :) Or maybe because I'm a woman and they wanted to give me a hand :p

Trust Nobody is my motto. I was in my own lobby doing a CEO sell mission awhile back. Someone joins in right in the middle of it. What do they do? Call up their Hydra, and make a beeline right towards me. Barely a minute in since entering my lobby. Luckily for me I finished my last dropoff before he got to me, in which I just bailed out and Homing Rocket him out. I wasn't too surprised though since his crew said IGN, but still.

Yes i resupplie my bunker in full lobbies.

This is how it ment to be played. Not fun to do this alone in a public session. What is fun to resupplie if you not must defend yourself or hurry? :-)

Before i also did this in a crew session, but its to boring so from now i want more fun out of the game.

With this great new gunrunning you have many good veichles to resupplie with. I like to use my fully upgraded tampa and aim with doble minigun. Just happy if someone try to come after me now vs the biker dlc.

I can sell in public also but not full stock so you only get 1 veichle. Bunker sale is fast and use to be armored so its easier.

If i resupplie all public until value is full i sell in a full crew session, it could still enter non members but most of the time you can make it fine even if it enter a few unknown.

But sure i have lost a few full businesses because or others that having fun. The high demand bonus make it good.

Bunker resupplie is mutch more easy to do public.

No, but not because I'm in fear of hostile players. I'm playing this game since launch and I'm very well aware how bad network code is. Lazer pilots, tryhards, Opressors and other stuff is one thing that you can predict and analyse, but unknown network error is something else. And back in the days that was much more often. On PC and after patches it's a bit better (most of PC guys are using wire connection instead of wifi on consoles for starters), but it's still there.

I've seen too much sh*t happening with this game but I still like it and I will adapt to play it in the most convenient matter possible. I've seen more clouds on 360 than gameplay on some days, so invite only became a habit just to load it up faster.

I do. I welcome the interaction and the pestering. The sell missions pay big-time in full lobbies. My gta bestie is one of the scariest pvp players out there. It's the Ghilliemaster that makes it possible! I'm like Rick Flair. Wooooooooo!

Stealing and selling cars yes. It's kind of an adrenaline rush since you have to drive your ass off. I've lost my share of cars but mostly to jets and helicopters not drivers. My MC business is in the desert so I will resupply whenever but will only sell locally and with no more that 30k in stock if the lobby is full. I mean WTH you going to do with a Post-OP van?

Yeah, 90% of the time. It's more exciting, it's more rewarding and it's not as hard as you might imagine most of the time. Though sometimes you end up losing sh*t I still think it's worth it overall. Just gotta try and play smart, do a bit of research on the lobby, see how the players act generally, check what vehicles people are occupying atm etc and you can minimize the potential threat when you begin selling.

Like I've mentioned before I think Oppressors and the very random occasional jets are the only real bane of public lobbies and that's because they are overpowered per se. Other than that you just need a bit of luck and good instincts along with situational awareness and you're good to go. I wouldn't try selling full warehouses solo though in populated lobbies. Only single vehicle sales.

I/E, Resupplies, etc I do in public sessions 24/7, nothing special there

I like that since the gunrunning update a lot of people stay in the middle and just north of the map. That opens up peaceful lanes for when I want to export a car since most of the dropoffs are just up the hill of Vinewood or that one on the west by the highway.

The oppressor does not autoaim on delivery veichles import export cars. So its only overpowered vs other players that not doing something important.

I always switch sessions to a quiet public session. I tried a full public session. You get a camper that handles like a brick. I sheltered under a bridge from a jet griefer, outran the police and got shot in the face by a kiddie. It was only one crate so no big loss.

The next problem I had were so called friends. Once in my session they started immediately gunning for my crates. I had to dump 10 of my so called friends from my friends list.

Trust no one, 99.999% of the players are griefers.

Depends

I always moniter the kill msg that pops out

When i think its safe i just do supply runs and IE work as per normal, once i see kill msg keep appearing i do the solo lobby thing (PC)
